I might be mistaken, being a dirty foreigner & all that, but i believe in the job creation scheme you missed the sixteen(16!) housing secretaries. Truly an unparalleled record & it does show their deep devotion to minister retirement pay.
Finland showed us how to end homelessness: by providing housing. To end the Tory lifestyle, it's more prisons that we need. Or reform sentencing, serious prison time for white collar crime, less prison time and more education and other help for petty crime.
@@weswheel4834As that good old Texan boy Lyndon Johnson once allegedly said, "I'd rather have 'em inside the tent pissing out than outside the tent pissing in."
I can the imagine the cancel-culture brigade accusing the authors of deep-seated, Tory affections and support, while callously exploiting a multitude of societal issues! The irony, satire, humour, etc would be completely lost on them and so offensive!! It would be no surprise if they cried out that this exploitative rhetoric should be banned immediately, because they can't understand that it's actually communicating many of the ideas that they support!
Certainly the bloody insane bat on the sausage roll stall in my local market. If by some chance she sees this - Top tip of the week: Don't imply customers are lying when they tell you their personal experience of bad government policies, you Rees-Mogg knicker thrower.
The worst part is, at this point, it honestly wouldn't shock me if the Lectern company got in touch to say they'd never actually paid for any of them. Even though they'd just expense it.
Personally, I thank the Tories for perfectly encapsulating and providing 14 years' worth of demonstration of all the things I never want to see in a UK government ever again. So thoughtful of them!
@@brelshar4968 With all due respect, that attitude is precisely why we've had 14 years of the Tories gracing us with their leadership. I'm not jumping on that particular "they're all the same so what's the point" bandwagon and, to be completely blunt, I have very little time for those that do. At this point, I think the Tories deserve a rest and I'll take whatever else is on offer and moan about them only once they've actually demonstrated their incompetence.
@@overlydramaticpandaatleast someone has some common sense. Until they are in we don't know what will happen. He may be hold to the right abit to get in. The problem is Britain seems to like right winged policy so obviously labour have had to move towards it.
@@HA05GER I should probably be clear, I don't particularly like Keir Starmer as a politician and I think Labour's general shift to the centre-right under his leadership has far more to do with his personal political ideals than a calculated desire to appeal to the majority of voters. I don't, for example, believe that if Labour were to win the next general election under his leadership they would suddenly shift back to their more traditionally left-wing policies. However, I don't believe that criticising a hypothetical government that is not currently in power does anyone any good whatsoever. Literally the only people that line of thinking benefits are the Tories. Labour haven't been in power for over a decade; the LibDems haven't been in power for years either and when they were, they were the junior party in a coalition. Put simply, whatever problems we as a society are facing right now are down to the Tories and the Tories alone. They're the ones to blame and to criticise and to want out. We can worry about holding Labour or the LibDems to account for how they behave when they're in power once they're actually the ones in power.
@@overlydramaticpanda I think you've hit the nail on the head. The problem is realistically labour is the only option and sticking with the same thing we always have and expecting change makes no sense. The Tories have destroyed this country and even if it is slightly better under labour then fine. What I despise about the Tories is this whole new forcing people who are disabled into work it really does sicken me. I believe that if the NHS was funded like it was in the past we wouldn't have alot of these disabled people. I don't think the Tories get that. Going by opinion polls it looks like labour are set to win unless something drastic changes and I think sadly they will have their hands tied because the country is in such a state they have very little play with but here's to hoping for a bit of a better life.
Good to see that our noble tradition of gentle political satire is alive and well.... Sunak is clearly trying to win back the green vote with his new policy of recycling former prime ministers.....
Well, I don’t know. If he also brings back the likes of Rory Stewart an Jo Johnson that would be a major shift. It might b worthwhile considering voting for them… Nah. Just kidding!
He's trying to staunch the bleeding from the horrible political wounds inflicted by Johnson's lack of honour and huge dishonesty and Truss's all too obvious insanity.
Sadly that doesn't work. Getting out on the streets and actually protest might work. But the British prefer stiff upper lip. You might change tak for awhile.
@@Paul_C Nothing works on its own. It works all together when everyone gets together and does something even if its just a little thing -altogether it can move mountains.
It really, really, really, really is ludicrous isn’t it? I think this video is a perfect illustration of how a country descends into madness. Thank you, more please.
@@georgeorwell-il2wzDue to new changes in UK passports, we are in fact not free to leave any time as the tories extend their affection to us. I shall then, remain with them just as they too, chose to remain.
The problem is the voting system here. In 2019 the Tories got 42.4% of the vote to Labour's 40%, yet they got 365 seats to Labour's 202. We have a system where in total 57.6% of the electorate actively voted against them, the Tories were effectively unassailable and able to do whatever they liked. Edit: These figures are from the number of unspoiled votes cast. So there's no need for anyone to say "But x number of people didn't vote" or "So spoiled papers count as votes against?" Etc.
Truly, the party of change. Ministers changed every 5 minutes. Even Prime Ministers. Waiting lists for hospital treatment changed. Asylum seeker processing, changed. Tax burdens changed. Cost of living, changed. Relationships with nearest neighbours, changed. Red Tape, changed. Head of state, changed. Even the change has changed. Everything is now world beating the changes have been so good. So give us the chance to elect more changelings into the government.
She would be laughing not crying she's on a massive pension for the rest of her life for doing nothing for approx 6 months in office what has she got to cry about, allegedly.
As a disabled person , I can’t put into words how much appreciate the doubling down on labours privatisation of the NHS, and letting an insurance company run our welfare system was pure genius, or do I mean generous ? I wish them and all their families a very happy Christmas and a happy 2024. Amen.
Brilliant. You forgot to mention they managed to do all this whilst conducting a civil war amongst themselves. Truly remarkable but if you put vanity first it's amazing what you can achieve.
You have to be creative in how you say it. I've just been trying to put a comment on another thread in this section about when I worked for a government department that it seems must never be named. Especially three times while looking in a mirror from my experience within it.
Elgar was a staunch conservative and imperialist but you could argue he wouldn't have supported the modern day Tory Party because of his racism, so there's that.

Many casualties could have been avoided had our airports and ports been closed earlier, as many other countries did, in particular , visitors from China As always , UK gov behind the curve.
I am so happy to watch this. I started teaching in the same year the Tories came to power. I can only thank them for their top rate funding of education and the respect with which they have treated our profession. I just wish I could thank them in person.
I think you should send this into the BBC and I think they’d be up for this because let’s face it - we all need a honest advert once every 14 or so years on mainstream tv
Wow, that gives the term "Merry-go round" a completely different meaning. Thank you UK, you managed to overtake Italy re political " stability" 😁. Love from the EU .

Yes, the people want to show their gratitude to all those great role models. You have proven that everybody can become prime minister, no matter how little educated you are, no matter how often you got fired from your previous jobs, no matter how bad your reputation is. All that matters is the good connection to all that money pots, domestic and abroad. That gives us hope that there always will be somebody who cares about businesses and their taxes.
So few Brexit benefits because Cameron and Boris (two Liberals) failed to take advantage of what it brought. Not forgetting the arch socialist and Cameron’s mate, Obama, who was wheeled into lecture/threaten us on staying in the EU
Thanks to covid shutdown and Putin War. UK exports to EU rocketing plus even higher exports globally. Highest ever UK inflation was 27% in 1975 as Wilson funded a wage/price spiral as he dished out 40% pay hikes to Labour's trade union paymasters. Classic Labour corruption. I love it. The soaring Elgar, rippling flag and unwaveringly awful Tories all rolled into one. I'm currently thinking that the recycled DC might be the best of the sorry bunch to be honest. At least he looks professional when meeting foreign leaders. I think I've accepted the lowered bar though.
Great video indeed. Funny last night I was thinking same as you Sue, I almost felt like DC was the best of this bad bunch, this is how low my expectations of these people have sunk 🙂
@@frogexpat Yeah but, to be honest that's what we feel about most of them, but for lettuce Truss. We keep living in hope, 'how can it get any worse' and it does. We should be focussed on ridding Britain of the self entitled, idiotic grifters.
I watched, avidly, twice over. A strange, conflicting, mass of feelings, laughter at some really subtle signals and tone of voice, smiles at the more esoteric comments, anger at most of the visuals, and frustration at the IQ of the average Tory voter, with their selfishness and racism . Plus massive violent feelings against ALL the politicians, from 1945 to date, at their failure to progress true democracy in Britain, to sideline the monarchy, to make the Freemasons an illegal terrorist group, to impose a maximum of 3 Parliaments on the incumbents of every seat., to change to a PR system, preferably the STV, to revert to traditional counties and cities, reversing the alienation of locals for their communities, and detaching politicians from responsibility for areas that they were born in, and grew up in. No more paradropping candidates in, usually the favourites of the ruling Tory, monarchistic elites. Pauses to drink a glass of green tea, and have a few chocolate biscuits. Doesn't stop the radical feelings, though. I'm forwarding the link to family and friends
Excellent. Every word the truth. Not something that will ever be said about the Tory party. In fact, 'truth' and 'Tory Party' are words which should never be in the same sentence.
Seriously - where the fuck do they find these people?? In some ways it is actually quite impressive. Fabricunt, Jeremy Hunt, Boris the animal, Demonic goings, Watt mancock... it is like a cast of a 1950's "Carry on" movie - but with real world consequences.
I like buying an extra tin of beans and putting it in the foodbank box. I like phoning my doctor ever morning for two weeks to get a time for a phone call back. I like the fact that all the council houses are now privately owned by buy to let landlords who charge twice as much. I like the fact that families live together for longer because adult children can't afford rent and have no hope of ever getting a mortgage. I like the fact it takes up to 10 times longer for asylum seekers to be processed in the UK, so the government can canpain to end a crisis they have caused. I like the fact that the bus service in my area has been reduced again. Would be nice to go on a bus for £2 but we don't have any I like the fact that due to brexit bankers who crashed the economy in 2008 can now be paid unlimited bonuses But the best thing about brexit is we now don't have that horrible right to travel round Europe with no restrictions.
