You inspire me, Dave, to become a better catfisherman. I'll be hitting Truman Lake Wednesday morning looking for a limit of crappie and a few blues, flatheads, and channels to add to the freezer.
Catfish Dave I am thankful for Gar fish. I Know you don't like them but up here in Missouri on the Missouri river we use them for bait. The big blues love them. We take them and cut them up in 1-2" chunks. Then take a fillet knife and go around the chunk between the skin and the meat then push out the plug of "meat" and hook it up like a chunk of shad meat. It gives off a great amount of oil and scent. Good Bait. We don't have skip jack here but we use what we have and are thankful for the bounty. Maybe you'll give it a try a couple of times. That is a great location. I haven't caught anything huge there. I was there a couple of days ago. It's washed out very bad. There is about a three foot drop off. Once you get down it's fine.

I think this is the best overall bank-fishing catfish video of all time. Quadfecta and all quality fish, along with a lot of numbers of fish. This right here would be a lot of bank fisherman's best fishing day of their entire life.

Good work cant ask for better thankful day. this part tennessee river that crosses into ky where i fish most time commercial fishing has ruined it. mississippi river and cumberland hold the biggest fish in my area, great fish and video.
