idk for adults but here's the list of excuses I used in high school & college: "I gotta go, I have an exam tomorrow" "my tutor is waiting for me, I'm late" "sorry, I have to babysit my nephew/neighbor's kid" "my grandma is visiting and she asked me to come home early because she leaves tomorrow" "I'm sorry, no one is home and my brother doesn't have a key so I have to go and open the door so he doesn't stay outside" "my dog is sick and I have to give him a medicine on time" "it's getting late, I have to go before my neighbor's evil dog starts running around neighborhood and if there's no one outside he'll bite me so I have to go before dark"
in cases you don't like your date, you can simply say it out right to him/her but also say you are not opposed for you guys to be friends. im sure the night could end up pretty well. maybe you 2 can go to a bar or club and be each other's wing man. u both help each other get new prospects. think of it that way.
I want to go through Adrienne's wardrobe. I love her style. Beautiful.......now I agree with Loni and Tamar, don't waste the guys time if you aren't feeling him. Politely end the date.
I feel like Loni puts on a big facade a lot of the times. Like she tries to put on this "tough" and brutally honest and "satisfied single" front but in actuality she's the opposite.
Had no problem bouncing on a date back in the day. Why keep it going and have them expecting dessert? Also, it saves them...our both parties the cost of a whole meal? I didn't need technology to say I had to go. No reason needed.
My go to excuse if a date isn’t going well is to give it thirty minutes and then say I’m picking up my friend who’s coming into town to visit from the bus stop. Works every freaking time. If it’s REALLY bad and you can’t even wait 30 minutes you just say your mom or sister is in the hospital and just had major surgery and you just got a call that she wasn’t doing well. I know it’s so bad but if there are times when the guy makes you feel unsafe then use that one!

I agree with Adrienne, I think if you're going on a date you're agreeing to a certain outing, so it's rude to not fulfil that once you've already said yes. UNLESS they're being rude or horrible, then it's justified.

This is why I love Adrienne! She has a heart and respect for others, and good morals. I don't care for the gender roles, I'll pay for what I ate and make the most of it, of good conversation & laughs then let them be on their way. Don't need to be selfish.
This is why a first date should be something quick like coffee or something where you don't have to commit to the entire night. if you don't like the person, you can easily bounce.
