I love how Jack Kirby created the ETERNALS based on the actual book "CHARIOTS OF THE GODS" by Erich Von Daniken. It's wild when you hear his theory on our long long looooong ago past.

Well....... the artwork in this Eternals comic leaves something to be desired. Looks like it was done by a freshman art student in high-school. Oh well, to each their own I guess. At least it was a pretty good story. Hopefully the MCU Eternals are given the chance to become as interesting as they are in the comics. If their story moves forward, we might possibly get Hyperion who, if I'm not mistaken, is also an Eternal. It's a great time to be alive!!!

This was a great story. Drax the Bartender was another great addition. He wanted to take a picture with Star Lord and show it to his daughter. His baby girl is alive. Wonderfully story!

BTW Maisie Williams is Sprite in the Eternals movie so that might be the reason why they flipped genders in the comics

Just a random thought about the eternal trailer, they say something along the lines of the emergence beginning. Could be for a celestial egg or what not but that organisation from the mad Jim jasper's comics initiate something called the push don't they ? Possibly this could kick start wide spread mutants in the same way haha don't really know if there's something to speculate from there but that line gave me a vibe!! Just want the xmen already 😅

hmmmm so....."plot devices" that can't be used for the sake of an argument exist? good Im glad to hear this. 18:00 explaining why drax could kill thanos by ripping out his heart, but iron man doing it wouldnt have the same result because it's only "comic book logic"

These characters are wildly unattractive, this artwork is weak, and these plotlines are dumb. I still might watch the movie, but I'm glad this channel's around to break down the comic books so I can get a better idea about what books are worth buying. This was a clear, kind and enthusiastic review. I feel bad capping on the source material, but this channel has covered a BUNCH of WAY BETTER stuff. However, I'm still glad this video exists for comparison. +1 "like" for quality coverage. ...still not buying these books though.

My guy. I absolutely love love love your videos. The gusto and storytelling is a joy. One thing I wish you would include in the notes is the actual issues you use for visuals in your videos. Some of the artwork is so amazing and for a semi casual comic reader like my self, I fiend to find older issues yet have no reference point sometimes. Some of the art in this one is from an awesome artist Im not privy to and would love to read it and find more. I think it would also be a great way for others like my self or people new to comics to delve deeper into all the reference you compile to make these awesomeness of videos. Thanks dude and keep rocking!!!

15:30 Thanos is actually a ‘mutant’ (not in the cerebro X-men since but) Eternal, at least that is how Marvel mentioned it a while ago before younger editorial staffs shifted things around. Also, the Saturn and Uranus Eternals were a few orders of scale “weaker” than Earth Eternals once upon a time. He really wasn’t initially related genetically to the so-called Deviants.

I'd say yes, except that within Marvel, everything we'd call a mutant in the real world is usually called a mutate, simply to differentiate it from the X-gene. But yes, he is a Titan-eternal, who's body is mutated such that the latent deviant gene became active and dominant. Though this seems to add the implication taht his parents also tried to alter him in some way, making him like an Earth-Eternal.

Ehhhh Marvel Movies being followed by the comics is a bit off. Marvel Comics is now more a test lab to see and gauge what is liked for the sake of making more movies/shows. The movies cull the herd by it's virtue of existence. It is why we are seeing Ironheart, Kamala, and so on instead of say Darkhawk... The former two especially Kamala have a HUGE following.
