Awesome in depth review. Sadly I’m getting a very loud static noise that randomly persists on my right earbud. Only owned mines for 2 months. I’ve read a lot of people are having the same issue as well and Bose is saying it has something to do with the moist/perfuse sweating. I clean mines with alcohol wipes (probably what caused it) but I work in the hospital and I use it for the gym. During this pandemic, I need to make sure I come home with a clean pair. Must not be as resistant to liquid so buyers take care of em well
This is very interesting because my families dog chewed it a little bit and dented parts of it christmas day. Since then it constantly disconnects and only blinks blue instead of white also, and it has the same high pitch faint hum issue. Hoping it was just the dog, but hopefully bose repair service can fix it
On 09/23/21 Bose updated the QC earbuds via firmware. They added an EQ, NC aware modes and some other upgrades. The new equalizer make them sound so much better.
@@kingerskasabian Yes, the left earbud can be set to skip back or skip forward when you touch and hold it. Or you can set it to start playing Spotify or tell you the battery level.
You are the first one i heard talking that they are not semi open. Ive been trying to find those kind of earbuds. Do you have a list to recommend? Thank you (I don't know if you're still reading the comments)
Howdy! I just recently purchased a pair of BOSE Quiet Comfort earbuds and I have a question. When I play some songs, I have a delay of about one second between the left and right headphones, is this normal or could it be a defect? Anticipated thanks for the answer!
Thanks for your review. In terms of sound quality and loudness, musical details and bass, is it better than the previous model, bose sound sport free or not? Another question.. Is there the hissing when listening to music very quiet.. Because some people say that
i have owned both so i can gove u a fair idea i would say they are pretty similar with noise cancelling OFF. however when on, the quality in sound easily goes to the quiet comfort as u are immersed into the music more. and no i dont experience any hissing
A thought about the Bose, if not travelling long distance flights maybe. But could they be a real alternative to taking a pair of headphones, rather than thinking of them as a pair of pockets buds? I can sort of see a place for these if you want decent music, excellent ANC inc for higher frequencies like voices etc and don’t want to take up so much bag space
Interesting to hear that there is no delay in the audio on RU-vid videos with these earbuds. Prior to getting my AirPods Pro I had the Bose Soundsport Free, and the audio delay on them was ridiculous when watching RU-vid, and to the point where I would avoid watching RU-vid while wearing them. On my AirPods Pro the audio and lips sync perfectly, and I haven't found any other totally wireless earphones that I've owned/tried that could match the AirPods Pro in this department.

I may have missed the discussion on functionality. I will start my discussion on what are great ear buds from Samsung. Samsung has all of these music and or media controls fast forward /rewind/ pause. The QCs no volume control and rewind seriously for the money no one thought this might be important. I really just can't get over the lack of features that are pretty standard. Really sad that they missed the mark so broadly.
Simply great review - very clear and precise, even down to the recycling factor. Not being able to adjust the volume is the biggest loss for me. I have not looked but have you tested the Panasonic/Technics EAH-AZ70WE. Be interesting to know your thoughts.
Once you get use to the swiping- up and down for the volume - there’s no problem. Also - my Bose App has an equalizer. Just be patient like you did with a new car or fishing pole…
I work with one in for calls and after work listen to music all the time. They are super comfy bc they don't go deep into your ear. I was a little aware of the wing making contact with my ear at first but I got used to that.
I don't think that the design is outdated for the QC earbuds. Look at the Sony XM4s, they stick out of your head and jamb deep into your ears at the same time. The QC earbuds are MUCH better looking. The Sennheiser Momentum are also large (though smaller than the Bose) and they look kind of odd. And Apple earbuds have a cigarette look, which I personally think looks incredibly stupid. I guess you can say that the Samsung Pro earbuds are small and inconspicuous, but then they are inferior to the Bose QC earbuds in almost everything. If you want good call quality and noise canceling, this design is the template.
Lovely review. I had to say I was waiting for a Fraudian slip with "test test test-icle", but it never came 😂 The Bose on my Oneplus 6T have a terrible call quality for the other person. They hear all possible noises except my voice. They are great for listening and relaxing with noise cancellation. However😮 terrible for phone call. Not recommendable.
If you use an iPhone and have an Apple Watch you can control volume on the watch. I mainly use mine for RU-vid and movie watching while my wife is watching tv. They are perfect for my purpose. Mine never leave home.
Thanks sir. Maine Jabra Elite 75t liye the lekin Amazon ko return kar diye kyoki 45 min listening k baad esa feel hota tha ki kaan me packed h wo, inko bahar nikal dene ka man karta tha. I am using Bose SoundSport from 12 months and I love the clarity of it but usme problem ye h ki bahar ki noise usme easil se aati h. Plz suggest ki mere liye Jabra k most comfortable earbuds kaun se hain?
I purchased these and hated them. for the $300 that I paid for them I would have expected more. They were not loud enough for me. And there was absolutely no base at all in mine. On top of that these have an issue with skipping when my phone's in my pocket. My other buds don't have this problem. Maybe mine was defective or something. I literally used them for 1 hour and immediately started a return.
@@kavid8120 I have heard XM4s lack the treble clarity of MTW2 but the XM4 have better ANC. If you have HQ music, then LDAC on XM4 will definitely be the way to go.
@@pb4170 bro…Apple music just introduced Lossless audio, Dolby Atmos, and Apple Digital Master… so many songs sound much more louder and clearer on Apple than on Spotify. I ditched Spotify. The audio can’t compete with Apple Music right now. It’s amazingggggggg
Sennheisers have the better ability to separate sound then the Bose do. However, when it comes to ANC, Bose blows it away in my opinion. I had these two headphones at one point and chose the Sennys as I felt they sounded much better than the Bose do.
You guys have mentioned that bose battery last for around 5000 hrs /200 days, retaining 80 % capacity ..does it mean that after 1-2 years batteries will be dead and buds won't work at all?
I was wrong about my last comment but I had my last bose ear buds for almost 4 years and they never broke just battery ran out faster I think that's what it means
This has definitely been very useful.. and Thankyou. I’m going to have to return the ones i have ordered now... because, i tend to use he left earbud more.. and if it cant be used alone... i dont want it anymore Thanks again
I own the Bose QC Earbuds. Got them over a week ago and got them for $199 - on sale right from Bose. New - not refurbished. If you are looking for Perfection in Sound Quality - get them. STOP with the Piddly faults. Get them because they are the best you’ll ever find. Mine are…. Who on earth is going to have them in their ears for 6 hours? “Get a life”… The ANC is beyond belief. I was right beside a major highway and could hardly hear the Tractor Trailers as they were slowing down and speeding-up at the light. Leave the case in the car or in the house. Only one in a thousand will ever even think of putting it in their front pocket. Put a hook on it and hang it on your belt. These guys just need to make videos…
i have bunch of problem with my earpod qc if you can help me 1.not good pair with Microsoft laptop sound digitalaizing 2. with tv I can control the volum either remote or earpod for know I love to fix these two if you can help me ?
Help me I just buy yesterday sony wh1000xm4 and that not charging with my oneplus charger but it charging with Samsung charger by the way oneplus charger is working
I am saddened that bose stopped their wired version of their in ear(sound true ultra) ...... extremely comfortable, it feels like cloud hugging your ear....wonder what to use for gaming when they go bad...
You must not have tested these in the wind or riding a bike. Noise canceling does not work against the wind. Had to send mine back after discussing with Bose tech support.
@DHRMR Guys can you think of an occasion where a manufacturer has added multi point connect after release, i’m still surprised Bose didn’t “enable” this feature?
@@DHRME yes i think it’s part of the qualcomm latest 2 maybe 3 revs depending on chipset used, so i assume they would have enabled if was present? but this is Bose we are talking about. Hotswap though on bt4.? can be firmware enabled
Why do you guys say Dutch words sometimes? Also I'm looking for anc earbuds for driving motorcycle. Would these be good to wear under a helmet / on a loud motorcycle?
@DHRME, First of all it will never happen again, and it meant nothing to me. So when watching another review on these, the reviewer said they were ridiculously loud. Wondering if these may have a problem with volume when being driven from IOS compared to Android devices, which I believe Jabra had an issue with for a while?
Are you sure that these buds do not come with volume control onboard? I read that to change volume one has to simply slide a finger up to increase sound and slide down to decrease... One more thing, in order to customize sound, one can use a dowloaded Eq to modify the lows, mids and highs. I really enjoyed your video but I wanted to point out that this needs to mentioned. Perhaps you can respond and confirm.
They got an update over the air where the fixed the volume control! Third party EQ apps exist, but they can be less reliable and are usually device specific. First party app settings are stored on the buds themselves so you can switch devices and get the same sound.
@@DHRME I beg to differ on sound Eq. I have experimented with them and have them set up using an Eq with my music on an iPhone where the iTunes uploaded music is sent to another App I set up on my iPhone. Sound is even better than iTunes! I also use an Asten and Kern mp3 media player with files recorded using FLAC. I am serious about my music, sound and at the price these QC Earbuds cost, I wanted quality. The downside with these is the fact that you cannot play a previous track again via touch control. To remedy your Eq sound stage, third party Apps is the solution by customizing the different frequencies. Bose will get this right in the next product just as Sony has done with their newest ANC earbuds. I would like to see your review on the newest Bowers & Wilkins PI5 and 7 earbuds which have been released at an absorbent price in this greedy world! Enjoyed your “Indo-Dutch” humour. Keep those Vakan jokes coming!!! 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
I'm fed up with the Bose QC. Great sound BUT trying to turn up sound or touching the right earbud wrong activates Voice Control on my iPhone 8. Even though I turned Voice Control off, the *@!! Bose app activates it again. Neither the BOSE app or iPhone's SIRI understands my accent and I already ended up with a call to Sweden I didn't ask for. I've contacted Bose and they said you can not deactivate it. WTF!!!!!!!!
Had them for a while. Got them as a gift from a friend and I'm truly grateful. However... They take FOREVER to connect. Extremely annoying waiting for them and the voice prompts drive you crazy after a while. "Bwaaaaah. BATTERY 100%.... Connecting to device......... Connected to device." It takes sooooo long and just like the guys said, the pairing is a complete shit show. So many times I've had to go find my bag, get my macbook out, open it and turn off bluetooth in order to make the earbuds connect to my phone. I just tried pairing it to my mac now and it just WILL NOT pair, even when I turned off the bluetooth on my phone. Talking on the phone with them is a nightmare. You feel like talking in a vacuum and the microphones are garbage. Most of the time the person on the other end cant hear me and I end up taking them out and holding the phone to my hear. The case is too big and it's honestly so annoying how they stick out of the ear. A few days ago the right earbud started making this insane scratching, static noise ALL THE TIME. I tried resetting them and doing different things, but after some searching online it seems like this is a common problem. In other words, they are just broken. I have had several Bose QuietComfort 35 II and I absolutely love them, but this product is completely dogshit. DO NOT BUY. THEY ARE GARBAGE.
Guys, you two are irritatingly irresistible :)... I am loving your channel except your "pop pop popsicle" thingy...One question, multi-connect is a deal breaker for me, so this Bose, can it connect to 2 devices simultaneously... I will be thankful if you can answer...Cheers
Thank you! All I've found is IPX4 specs but nothing related to dust particles, hence being a tad concerned whether to opt for these due to the holes present... I tried the Jaybird Vista 2 due to durability specs to compare last night, but soundwise Bose are better all day long
The Bose QC earbuds are absolutely amazing on pretty much every level. They do let you control the volume. Just wish they gave more shortcut options for the left earbud. Overall, you’re not going to find much better than these. Leaps and bounds beyond the Apple earbuds.
Bose music app is complete garbage. Noise canceling stops after every phone call and app disconnects and have to resart phone to reconnect so I can use noise canceling. Everything is updated on phone and earbuds so I know it's not user error. Bummer because when they do work they sound great. I've been a bose fan boy for 20+ years so a real disappointment I spend 30% of my time getting noise canceling to work after a phone call and or connecting to the app. A side note:::: they noise canceling wont work if not connected to the bose app. It might work flawless on iPhone or other but apparently not on my galaxy s20.
