This was a rally that went crazy! The third round of the Bowler Defender series took us to Scotland for the Scottish Summer Hill rally. This is a totally new style of racing for me so it meant for a huge learning curve. Before we start I thought it would be worth giving you a full walk around of the Bowler rally car so you can see what a Bowler Defender is and how it differs from the base model, the Land Rover Defender. This is a serious 300 hp rally monster!
By mid day on day two I was ranking 1st in class and 10th overall at the Scottish Summer Hill Rally!! What!? This was my 7th day in a racing car of any form EVER! But...it all went wrong…. You can see the full crash footage from both the internal and external action cameras…. That was a shock!!
