uh, I don't think that's true. I mean if you meant to joke, I can understand, but I take that quite offensive, but to be fr, yeah no one likes it, they love it@@sashawright1734
i play the viola and i kid you not every time we have a piece centered around us no matter which director i am with there HAS to be a viola joke made. it’s like an obligation
Well yeah, it would be really hard to play a violin piece on viola if transposed directly, especially since the two use different clefs and have different strings. I don’t play viola, but I play violin 👍
Is it just me that hears it in a different key? I know violists play in a different key (the original La Campanella starts with F sharp but this one started with a B)
I don know why people are rude up in here like nah man if you have nothing nice to say then don say anything at all, all string instruments rock and violist are just as good as violinist, we are treated like garbage if violas were not so important why did they invent it like it also plays a role in the orchestra, I have never seen such people disliking violas like this my orchestra loves violas and they go crazy when it is time for viola solo, so I don why some people be like this 😮
As a cellist I have something to say to the viola *censored* half assed violi- *censored* just qui- *censored* And I don’t think that is controversial at all
@@renascitur7051 he literally is sight reading though, judging the quality of his better prepared pieces Also it's a piece literally not written for viola
@@charlietian4023didn't have to add the last part as I'm perfectly aware of that. Again, he probably didn't practice this lots as there's really no reason for him to, but it's most probably not sightreading 💀
@@renascitur7051 yeah but these are all reasons why the viola doesn't actually sound bad You take sight read violin stuff and it'll sound way worse People who unironically believe two set about the viola are musically immature at best
