The guy playing Seymour the agent went on to have an interesting career outside of acting. He established the White House Communications agency during the Johnson administration and then worked as the Deputy director of White House Communications during the Ford Administration and was a speech writer for the President.
@@jvcomedy It seems Jeff Vaughn, that You have revealed one of the obvious, clear direct connections and interconnections between "Hollywood"-TV-media and 'politics' with both 'parities', which are clearly interconnected. Also, GR Ford was among the selected members of the "Warren Commission". There were previous connections during previous decades also. All The Best.
Phyllis Garr was responsible for the costumes on That Girl. Noted in the closing credits. She had excellent taste. Just look at the outfits that Ann Marie wore. Phyllis is also Terri Garr's mother. Terri appeared in a couple of TG episodes in cameo roles. She went on to have a very successful acting career. Terri Garr and Marlo Thomas both appeared on the show Friends. Marlo was Rachel's mother, and Terri was Phoebe's (and Ursula's) mother. The woman assumed to be their mother (who sadly committed sitcom suicide), was not.
