This will be the last of the weekly flying vlogs for a while. I never did think I would get to an unbroken run of 377 videos but I do need to call a halt for a little while.
I am not a qualified flying instructor nor do I ever claim to be a very good pilot. I fly for fun and basically record for my own interest and review but upload because a number of people suggested that I should. I do try to edit for enjoyment and story telling and this means that some content is not always included.
Music - All from the RU-vid Sound Library
Camera:
Front facing and panel mounted - Go Pro Hero 4 filming at 1080 wide @ 30fps - wide
Rear facing camera - Go Pro Hero 3+ filming at 1080 wide @ 30fps
Sound Recording - Sony ICD-AX412F with a SAA40 (40db) Audio Attenuator
My headset is a Clarity Aloft
The video was produced on Cyberlink 365 (Power Director 19 and Cyberlink Audio Director 11)

I bet you pondered long and hard over whether you should or shouldn’t post this video, Tim. I’m glad you did, it just made a lovely little break from the sad passing of our wonderful Queen 🥲 I look forward to seeing you on here again, but make sure you look after your family and yourself first at this busy time for you 👍 👏👏👏

Found this on UK forum re ya brakes Same system as the Condor, and I used to replace master cylinders often in Blackbushe days. When I ran the Condor Club with three Condors I replaced them rarely and had overall very little trouble with them. The difference was a 5 Pound fine for anyone caught leaving the brakes on! If you leave the brakes on the fluid will leak past the piston in the master cylinder. This piston is not connected to the rod that pushed it, and so it stays in position. The answer is to pump fluid from the slave cylinder bleed nipple and this pressure will push the master cylinder piston back. You can do this a few times and then you have to replace the master cylinder. (I believe these were Citroen master cylinders, or so I was told). You can bleed the system all day and never get the brakes to work hard. Sometimes I left it overnight and after all the bleeding, f'ing, and blinding the day before, the sodding brakes would be alright in the morning! Perhaps patience, allowing the air to drift up on its own pays off. Always pump the brake fluid up from the bottom. New brake shoes had to be filed to fit the eccentric adjusters. The eccentric adjusters would be set fully back, the shoes tried on, the contact marked and then filed with a round file until the shoes fitted inside the drum. You may have to flat file the face of the shoe where it contacts the slave piston as well. There was always some adjustment required when I got new shoes from Rollasons. I sometimes saw a bracket made to fit between the shoe face and the slave cylinder piston to open the shoe up to close the gap between it and the drum. I think that once the eccentric had reached its expansion limit the mechanic had gone a step further by 'shimming' the face of the shoe against the slave piston. I used to rough the surface of the brake pads with coarse cloth or a file as they used to come glazed. The system uses sliders to connect the rudder pedals to the brake master cylinders to provide differential brake at near full travel of each rudder pedal. Sometimes I had to file the latch that swung on the brake handle to contact the saw teeth parking brake arc. Be careful, some of these systems use different hydraulic fluids. The master cylinders that work with Red hydraulic fluid have a red spot painted on them. The springs that hold the brake shoes together are liable to break. These are strong springs, I used to attach them before fitting the shoes and use a big screw driver to open the gaps to fit the shoes over the pawl and the slave pistons. Make sure the rubber seals around the slave pistons are the right way around, the hollows should be on the inside. From memory they are angled "C" shaped and the hollow of the C should be on the inside. I remember using my nails to fit this seal inside the cylinder, wet with fluid. I write this to the best of my memory, I hope it's useful.

Love the Looney Tunes ending! All the more determined to come and see you soon! Good news on my 182 - fingers crossed, barring any more unforeseen problems I should be flying again in a few weeks. Your videos will be even better to watch now that they're going to be rarer! Thanks for all the work Tim. No one except those of us who make these videos will ever know how much goes in to it!

I'm watching later than usual on what has been an historic week for all the wrong reasons. I was glad to see this 'last' video was as regular as normal. Its a shame the underwing camera didn't work this time. Nice to see the horse settle into its new home. As I wrote before, best wishes for all your moves and things that need sorting. I look forward to the next date. Meanwhile, I wish you safe, happy flying and boring landings.

Hi Tim, An unbroken run of 377 weekly videos is an awesome achievement. You have a lot going on in your life and it's right they should take priority. I look forward to your videos each week and hopefully look forward to see more if / when you're ready to return. Fyi, I watch your videos on my TV and that doesn't give me the option to comment sadly. However, I have commented a few times previously (from my laptop) and thank you for acknowledging those. Good luck with your house moves and sorting your father's estate. Neither being simple things to do. Best wishes, Vernon

Well Mae and Karen look suitably sortd. Duncan looked relaxed. Tim you look more relaxed now you have made the decision to ease back (you not the only one few you tubers I watch have scaled back to 2 weekly even monthly) it's sposed to be fun and if it's not then don't do it. Bring in production values can make it feel like work. Bugger Techo eh ah well go do it all again good excuse to go flying anyhoo. Brakes like a Dark art they work or they don't and become a right royal to get back to working proper like. You to like the Two Ronnie's you can decide which one you are...... Be well Fly lots and Carry on see you around 30th maybe. :0)

Great video as always. The graphic Designer (from WAY back) appreciated the graphic of the Airfield joining pattern. I have taken screen shot and will be using that when I come visit. Maybe progressively there has been uneven break pad/disc wear over the years thats causing that pull to the left on braking? Hope the move goes well, will await September 30th, and will make contact via the airfield details when I plan to visit. Thanks again. Take Care.

I try to film every flight with my rear cockpit camera so should something happen then there is a record and I have the cockpit audio as well. You never know if it might be a good video for other to learn from (like my arrival video the other week). Hope to see you about some place in the Jodel, keep safe and good luck with all the work you have got and look forward to any video you feel inclinded to produce, when you feel like doing them.
