I've been waiting forever for Ruby to be back in the shop. Mullet's a beast, Leroy is where it started, McFlurry is a cool experiment, but Ruby was always the heart of why I watched the channel. She always got the hand me downs and said, "Hold my beer while I show you what I can do with the afterthought parts". She was predictable and dependable up to the electric issues to where she was the one you'd let people who never raced before take her for a trip down the strip. She just wanted a chance. However, I don't know for sure, but it seems she just doesn't like Dr. Tune Em All sitting in the driver's seat. She prefers James' mentality of win at any cost, LOL.I hope this is the start of a full on showing of love for her, she deserves it.

Give DRP a call! They have bearing spacers that will reduce the drag and load of those floaters even more. Its an awesome one time buy for huge results. Going even further on drag reduction, call up Micro-Blue bearings and get their coated races and bearings. You can run grease as thin as ketchup. We use it in the circle track racing industry all the time.

Can attest to the cold start coyote sound... had a rental over the holidays, a '23 f-150 75th anniversary edition. Thing sounded like a 200k+ miles LS for about a minute on first start of the day. Once it got some heat in it, was fine. It only had 21k miles on it so it wasn't worn out.

Bit optimistic there break an axle you just undo 3 bolts pull the axle out and throw another in. Except there is likely a chunk of axle stuck in the differential. So you will have to pull the other axle and run something through the center and try to knock out the stuck piece.

That new rear end is like what they put on a class 8 semi-truck, fully floating rear axle. If they put on the right type of hubs/wheels on mullet they can change the axle out without removing the wheel lol.
