Join me on the next motorcycle trip in Europe. On that tour, we ride motorcycles in a few Balkan countries and experience local cuisine, culture, and scenic roads. To join the next tour, register your interest: stoppie.me/tours/

I bought a 2022 T9GT and couldn't be happier. Sergey, you are spot on about how good and enjoyable this bike is. After 11,000 miles its performance continues to improve and I often get >60 mpg with non-ethanol gas! Plenty of smooth power, great handling with Michelin Road 6s. I would love to ride the Balkans with you guys, beautiful country. Stephen

Hi Stephen, congratulations! You’ll enjoy the bike. I can tell it after having plenty of people riding here. As for the riding, come and visit! I will soon post the video about all possible options we have. There are some interesting ones.

I have had a T9 for two weeks and I couldn't be happier, it is a motorcycle that is exciting to ride, I have had several even more powerful motorcycles but this one is versatile and comfortable in all aspects, riding position, handling, engine, etc.

a year on and honestly it is not the bike I was looking for. I wanted a sub 1000 Adventure bike. but This just ticked every. single. box. it was an easy call. Especially being ready to travel out of the box without having to pay more for bags and electronics (those adjustable heated grips.. holy crap do they get hot, don't think I've had them past setting 6). Being able to change engine modes on the fly, giving a more proper throttle response for city riding is so helpful (I never ride in mode 1. Lets just say wheel lift prevention is ALWAYS on) .I'm still amazed at how effortless it is and how in-control I feel on the bike. 10 day 5000 km trip riding 2-up and the only issue we had was the wasp sting on the back of the neck! I was also concerned about seat comfort, however that firm seat was actually a huge plus for spending 8-10 hours a day riding. As to the infamous dash, yeah it's bad and the font is even worse. is that an 8 or a 5? but you get used to it quick and like most things it just fades to the background and you don't think about it. I do love the ability to customise what data you are seeing, super helpful depending on type of ride you are on. Edit: trivial complaints: 1). the seat angle on the low setting is just enough forward to be annoying. There are fixes out there to raise the front edge of the seat a 5-10mm which helps a ton. 2). not being able to engage the cruise until in 4th is annoying. I have stretches of 50km/h where I'd rather be in 3rd. Again.. trivial complaints.

@bluepanther99 yes could be, saying "it was not the bike they were looking for" would sound like they ended up with it unexpected but are happy, but after a year to still say "it 'is' not the bike I was looking for" sounds like after all this time they're not happy with it or it hasn't met their expectations or something

I just got a Tracer 9GT a few weeks ago. Absolutely love it. The split dash dose not bother me at all, it dose the job. Its a great all around road bike, and the engine has plenty of power to have fun. Sport touring motorcycles in general are underrated here in the USA. I wish I had gotten a sport touring motorcycle sooner.

Bang for buck, as many say, it is the best. Out of the box, it is good to go, I don’t even want an aftermarket exhaust and that is usually the first thing I do. I might be getting older in thoughts, I just turned 50 a few days ago, it fits me perfectly. My other bikes are 2010 Ducati Monster 796, Suzuki 2006 GSXR600(track weapon), 1985 Honda CR125. I just sold my 2014 Kawasaki Vaquero.

I just bought a 9gt Plus. It is wonderful! I just have problems with the suspension as it is too stiff-hard for me even in the soft option (a2) If I can't solve this issue, I will have to sell it, but if I can fix, I can ride this bike for years with great happiness!

Congratulations on your purchase! unfortunately there is nothing you can do rather than play with electronics. There is tracer with manual suspension which makes is softer than electric, watch this video - ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-0Y5WpOqqaH4.htmlsi=gWMKCsnO4gjfZRPr

Great subject Sergey, I own a Tracer 9Gt and i am happy with it, however, at the moment is with the insurance company as someone decided to reverse into it..... so the insurance company lent me a brand new Africa Twin 1100, so much bigger bike and totally different style of riding. I have to say i like it, but not as much as my Tracer as i'm not an offroad person and this bike is built for offroad , the throttle is so twitchy, is rather ON or OFF there is nothing in between, and at slower speeds just lifts the front wheel up, it has so much torque , but overall is a great bike. If i had to choose again , i would still choose the Tracer. Is perfect for me. Keep the great work going.
@SergeyVikultsev
@SergeyVikultsev 11 месяцев назад
Hey Alin! Hope it is possible to fix it! AT is a nice bike to ride, much softer than Tracer. But knowing Honda, there is probably not much excitement about riding one. Anyway, it is always good to try something new and compare ;)

Hi Sergey, the T9 GT was my first Choice as I came back into Motocycles after 35 Years of not Riding! Had one over a Weekend and about 400km! Ordered the T9 GT in Midnight Black immediatly for 24 Season, because there were 2 things I didn´t like at the 23 Model : The split Dashboard and the unsymmetrical lighting Headlights! A few Weeks after the first Weekend with the T9 I wanted to ride it again over the Weekend, but the T9 was not available at this Time! My Yamaha Dealer offered me an other Bike with the CP3 Engine, because I didn´t want a other Bike without! Long Story short, got a Niken GT over the Weekend and after returning the Bike to the Dealer, I switched my Order without a 2nd Thought to the Niken GT! I never felt safer on a Motobike after that short Time of riding it!

Congratulations on your choice Ralf! Niken is definitely the bike to try! We only have a few of them here, but I already know where I will ride one. Yamaha was wise to introduce such a bike, as you can ride it in any weather. Ride safe!

Good and useful comments! I know it's a different kind of bike but what are your thoughts on the Kawa 1000SX and how is it in comparison to the Tracer? Thank you!

Hi. I didn’t have any experience with 1000sx, but I had few different Kawasaki bikes in the past. My expectation that 1000sx will be sportier than T9, but not the best for a long distance comparing to Tracer.
