@@broaction5343 Mine too! ❤ Hey loves! Please feel free to call me Jen! 😊 Pink Floyd taught me that one day I'd find that 10 years had got behind me... but then Zeppelin taught me there's still time to change the road I'm on. Grateful for these legends that put lyrics & music to the soundtrack of our lives.
And sing without autotune. Ever went to a concert and if F-ing sucked. Sounded nothing like the radio or album version. Real singers and musicians are better live...
No need to tear anyone else’s music down. You don’t know how hard others work. I know a young man who messes with auto tune sometimes who spends most every day making music and plays about every instrument you can imagine. Did the advent of auto tune and dancers make Led Zeppelin great in comparison or were they already great? How would you have described them before auto tune and dancers became a thing? Say the positives, leave the passive digs for the birds.
Now go and react to the Kennedy Center Honors tribute to Led Zeppelin where Heart sings this song while Led Zeppelin themselves are watching from the balcony and the original drummer the late John Bonham's son plays the drums! It's awesome! 🔥💯💕
@@ruthalvarado7086 it's one of my favorite videos ever. Ann & Nancy kill it. Just imagine playing Jimmy Page's guitar solo IN FRONT of him!!! Oh my lord!! Jimmy's smile said it all - he loved it! Robert seemed, to me, to hang on Ann singing the final lyrics to the song. He looked so touched. I hope you LOVE the video.
Just watched.... LOVE!!!! I was BALLING seconds into the performance!!! So i HAD to watch all the others performances- Foo Fighters, Kid Rock and Lenny Kravitz.. They also did not disappoint! Cherry on top.... Robert Plant wiping away a tear he FINALLY let fall... BEAUTIFUL!!!! Thanks again girl!!!!
@@ruthalvarado7086 I was hoping you'd comment back! Epic, wasn't it? Hard to find words. By the way, Foo Fighters are my favorite band. I ❤ them so much!
Led Zeppelin has been my favorite band for 43 years. Had tickets to see them in Chicago in October 1980 but unfortunately Bonzo passed away before the tour started. I was and still am heartbroken.
I saw them live in Seattle 1977. Unfortunately king dome was acoustical nightmare. Years later page and plant did acoustical tour, and I was able to see them at the Hult Center in Eugene, OR. Incredible facility designed for optimal listening pleasure.
I am 69 Julie I know what you are talking about. I already have a song picked out for my cremation that is off of Physical Graffiti album In My Time of Dying.
Hey Julie, I'm nearly 65 and I feel the same way. With these youngsters finding out about Led Zeppelin will ensure that they will be known and appreciated after we pass. How do Led Zeppelin become immortalised, it's by never forgetting what they gave us.
Every song by Zeppelin is in my top 100 Lol. My favorites are The Song Remains the Same/The Rain Song live from Madison Square Garden in ‘73, Ten Years Gone, In my time of Dying, just too many!!
Pretty much one of the greatest songs ever. No exaggeration. I know most will agree. Along with one of the greatest voices to ever sing. My fav along with Kashmir.
Your shirts are epic, y'all! I love them! I am about to watch this & even though I've seen it a million times - I can't WAIT to see YOUR reaction to this incredible performance. Jimmy Page's guitar 🎸 solo is EVERYTHING life is about for me. One of the best ever. 🙏❤🎵✌
@@rhodaj4215 Hello my friend! 1971 is the year I was born. 50 years ago yet this song will always remain timeless. Grateful for this video so many, many generations can continue to enjoy this legendary performance! 🎵✌❤
Zeppelin reactions are how I was introduced to the RU-vid reaction channels! I’m 45, and have no memory or NOT knowing Zeppelin. I’m confident my beautiful dad rocked me to sleep to Physical Graffiti... to hear Zeppelin for the 1st time I something I can’t even comprehend 🎸🤟🏼🎶and I love ot@!
That guitar was a custom piece designed for Jimmy. The bottom neck is a twelve-string and the top is a six-string. Jimmy would play the bottom when he wanted a more "acoustic" sound with the chiming strings, and then switch to the top for a harder rock feel. He eventually had a triple-neck designed, with a 12-string, 6-string, and a mandolin at the top. He's a groundbreaker, is Jimmy. :)
First, I wanna say, my name is Tina (my husband is Mike) so you'll understand that I'm a GIRL, when I say....... There aren't words enough to explain how PERFECT Robert's "pants" are.... But you came damn close Sister!!!! I don't think there has ever been, or ever will be a girl who is immune to his charms!!! Head to toe the man is beautiful!!! ;) ;)
This is like the International Anthem of the Boomer generation. At least most of us. Such an epic song. Also when you get a chance Google Led Zep lyrics and The Lord of the Ring Trilogy
Funny story about this song. I’ve been playing guitar since I was 5. I love and still love going to music stores to play new guitars. I have not met a musician who can’t play this song. A good musician. Strangely, it’s a song you learn early in life and the store workers get sick of hearing it. I played it once at a guitar store and the clerk ask if I could play another song. I just said ok, but it’s such a beautiful song.
Jimmy special-ordered that Gibson EDS-1275 six-and-12 in 1971 especially for touring to play this song without having to swap guitars during performance. ✌ edit: by the way it's called a double-neck 🎸
This has been the number 1 rock song almost since it came out. I'm surprised that after the first Led Zep tune you did you didn't get flooded with do Stairway request. Nice reaction. Lots of messages in those lyrics. Stay safe stay metal
True musicianship. They couldn’t rely on computers, pitch correction or auto tune. They wrote their own songs, played their own instruments, and without all the huge productions with dancers and so forth, could make an actual connection with their audience.
Zeppelin was and is the greatest assembly of talent ever to grace us. Just found your page so hoping to find more of your authentic reactions to Led Zeppelin 🙏
Led Zeppelin will always be Classic Rock history! Now, PLEASE go react to Heart at the Kennedy Center honors singing "Stairway to Heaven" The original drummers son is playing the drums and Heart is singing to tribute Led Zeppelin up in the balcony! It's a sight to be seen and experience! Much love to y'all both❤
I got to ring up his purchase when I worked at the Bodhi Tree Bookstore in the 90's. OMG. Dressed all in black, with that mane that was still fine, and legs up his NECK. I nearly fainted, LOL.
Jai, I agree with you. But I think if you heard the studio version first, you may prepare you to appreciate the live version. It is an awesome song and brings back many memories for me. Glad you shared your reactions! Thank you ❤
Don’t really know how many Zep reactions u have but it is really a rabbit hole! And Jai ur the reason I come back, so don’t let the haters get to u. Ur a beautiful woman and he’s lucky to have u😉. I noticed the pillow😊. I’m an old brother that’s been listening to this music since the seventies. And it warms my heart to see my bro n sis discover it. Do y’all!!!!!
You should check out Since I’ve Been Loving You from this same concert, it’s mind blowing! Love, love, love watching you checking out some Zeppelin!! ✌️
Good Vibes gang...Amazing group from back in my day, 60's 70's were filled with Brilliant music...Oh yes back then the pants were tight in places needed and at times hip huggers, with a boot cut to bell bottomed, Platform shoes or Converse...Hippie/Boho styling...Rockin the hair...LOVE IT...Thanks guys, Peace
Led Zeppelin was a hard rock/heavy blues band but they played a variety of styles. They started in 1968 and disbanded in 1980 with the death of their drummer. It was comprised of guitarist Jimmy Page who created the band and produced all their albums. Vocalist Robert Plant who also played harmonica, bassist John Paul Jones who also played all keys and mandolin, and drummer John Bonham. The guitar Jimmy is playing is a Gibson EDS -1275 double neck guitar which weighed about 10-12 pounds. The top neck is 12-strings while the bottom is a 6-string. It allowed him to move between both to give different guitar tones without having to switch guitars. The performance you reacted to was filmed at Madison Square Garden in 1973. Please do more Zeppelin.
1 of the #GOAT rock songs. 🐐 Written by Robert Plant + Jimny Page. GOAT musicians. Robert Plant, singer. Jimmy Page, guitar. John Paul Jones, multi-instrumentalist. Late John Bonham, drums + percussion. Underrated: Jimmy Page as producer! 🤯 Best cover vetsion: Heart ❤ #50years coming December 2021!
Hey guys, Keep going with Zeppelin. They are the "Piper".....when Zeppelin calls the tune, the Zep Heads WILL follow..... That was the legend Jimmy Page on guitar and it was a double-neck guitar. It's a 6 string and a 12 string in one. LIVE is always a treat with these guys! NEXT: "Whole Lotta Love", "Immigrant Song" and "The Lemon Song".... Any Zeppelin song is incredible, but those are 3 REALLY good ones to get the Zep train going full speed. P.S. I'm Tina (my husband is Mike) So, that being said..... I'm with Jai.... NOPE, Robert's pants aren't too tight.... They're just right!!! ;) ;) SIDE NOTE: I've been subbed for a while now and once AGAIN..... I didn't get a notification of an upload of yours! Luckily I came across it in the thumbnails, although it was 24 hours after u uploaded it.... I noticed others have been saying they're having a similar issue when u posted that YT community poll the other day. Just wanted you to be aware that this might also be an issue with other vids causing a decrease in views. Peace... ******* I would've clicked the second you uploaded this Zeppelin reaction, had I seen It!!! ********
"Since I've been loving You" from same concert. You will be stunned. If you want another crazy solo watch Lynyrd Skynyrd - Freebird LIVE from Oakland 1977.
Jai hi! I know this is old and nobody will ever probably ever read this but I had that same t-shirt only it was purple and I bought it at the LA Forum when I saw Led Zeppelin the first time in 1975 then I saw them again in 1977. I loved that t-shirt I wore it till it fell off of me! I wanted everybody to know that I had gone to see Led Zeppelin it was my very first high-profile concert with a high profile band... love you guys keep up the great work!
This is from their concert movie Song Remains the Same. You have to watch/listen to Since I've Been Loving you from the same movie. Only song I know of that opens with a guitar solo. It's incredible
Led Zeppelin is MUSIC! The 4 of them made music. Each one was integral l to them being MASTERS. Absolute best band EVER. Led Zeppelin 4 is so much about Lord of the Rings. There are so many references in this album.
Half and Jai. I follow you two, not as much for your insightful analyses; which are great, but more because you're awesome people; and an inspiring couple. I wish I could be your friend & hang out, talk about important things, have a beer, laugh, etc.
The greatest band to ever grace the stage Led Zeppelin will forever change the way you listen to music. There are no bad Led Zeppelin songs only timeless masterpieces.no other band can say that. Just one reason they were great then, they are great today and they will forever be the greatest 4 equally talented master musicians to come together. The stars where aligned and we were blessed. Without any one member led Zeppelin would not have existed. The rabbit hole is deep enjoy the trip
Every guy at 6:12 of this live video...."Man, his jeans are too tight. I can't not look at it!" Every girl at the same spot..."I don't know what you're talking about...are his jeans tight? (I can't stop looking at it!)" Seriously though...Best band ever. Best song ever. Best live recording of it ever. Can't go wrong. p.s. it's a Gibson double neck I believe...one has a 12 string on it.
Now you guys should check out Hearts version of Stairway to Heaven at the Kennedy Center. They were honoring Led Zeppelin. It is unbelievable and I think you guys will love it
So many great lines in this song. My favorites are.... And as we wind on down the road Our shadows taller than our souls.... Another video that made me glad that I Subscribed. Keep Em coming.....
Greatest band to ever grace the planet! Jimmy Page...greatest guitarist ever!! Please do more Zeppelin!! Every song...every performance is amazing!! Try The Song Remains The Same/The Rain Song live from this 1973 Madison Square Garden concert!!
This one has lasted this long for multiple reasons. Great reaction guys! Love music and rock on ❤️🎼🤘😎as we hear this story, we each relate in our own way, that’s the universal language of music.
Well, you two just reacted to arguably the best Rock band of all time performing arguably the greatest Rock song of all time. Where is there to go from here?
Led Zeppelin Marathon…please and Thank you! Kashmir - live from Celebration Day (a must) The greatest drummer ever, John Bohnam passed away in the early 80’s and zeppelin dismantled until, John’s son Jason joined the band. You will see the resurrected beast (Jason) on drums in this clip. Greatness lives on!
*#HALF* was *"half"* right, many call a *multi-neck guitar* a *double headed guitar.* But it's technically called a *Schrammel Guitar* has a *6* string neck & second *4 to 9* Bass string neck
Stairway to heaven was the song playing for my first slow dance in my Jr. High gym. 1975, her name was leslie. Even so many years later, I'm still grateful she said yes, and always have ear to ear smile when reminiscing:) I guess I should add that it was first fast dance also. The song gives you both in on playing. My first official dance was a two fer:)
When your fav reaction crew queues up your fav band. Keep on their live music and you're gonna capture an audience you didn't know existed. I would recommend Kashmir from the Knebworth '79 show.
