I have them and its a perfect quality/price headphones. Its so cheap but they really do their job and are what you expect. Only down sides is that the cushion have started to lose all the protection around it and it create little flakes that goes everywhere, they also aren't noise cancelling and people around can ear everything you listen to
The cushion will flake sooner or later, that happened with the ATH-M30 as well. It means time to replace them. Second thing noise cancelling version or close to this product exists (a model or two up I think) and it costs about 7 times more... Like you said, for the money, this is hard to beat.
I just found a pair near me and bought them. I had a pair that I bought over 10-15 years ago. The wire got cut, and I tried to repair them at least 10 times, but I had no success. These cheap headphones are "amazing", especially for the price. I would look for them whenever I was near the headphones at a store. I finally looked online and found a pair near me. I would have ordered them if I had to. I remembered the picture of the plane, the shinny sides, the noise-canceling button, and the MDR-ZX part of the model number. My old ones were gray. The new ones are black. They are way better than my Beats; which are way more expensive. They are definitely worth it!
@@nrejajarian8178 no this are only headphones to hear music you want something else buy Bose or upgrade to other Sony model beats br Dre are dope afuc studio 3 or ur beats sound amazing
@@Forever-young29 ew, beats by dre headphone are good only for the expensive ones. Under 200$ their headphone sucks, well except all you want to hear is bass then maybe its good
This headphone is good but it's only for to hear that music if you get it? If you want that soundstage mostly hyperx gaming headset can help. If you amazing sound go for 400 dollar more
Its about SONY MDR zx310A 2013 onwards ..still 😊❤️ Treble : awesome Bass: lower side ( only 30 mm driver is an advantage ) Mic: surprisingly audible perfectly if you connect with any smartphone ( dont know whether its phones mic or else🤔) Build quality : well im sure i can use it another 10 years with this build.. Nothing happened since 2013!? Its perfectly intact just like new ones 😊
@@Kae8 after a few hours they start to hurt my ears since I wear glasses but if you wear them for about an hour or two they're fine. They're super light but they're on-ear headphones so your ears will start to hurt after extended use.
One weird thing about these headphones, (I don't know if this happens to anyone else with these.) but if your outside in the freezing cold with these, the cord will start to freeze solid and stay in one shape. I dont really know why this happens, but it's pretty strange. Other than that, this is a very good pair of headphones. Excellent sound quality.
The only thing I don't like about these is that they have very short cables. I can't go far back with these due to my PC being on the floor and the headphones being connected to the back. I had to buy some $10 5m extenders, but I still like the quality of these for only 15 buckaroons.
@@CyberCatTechnologies Exactly, these are very good for listening and even a 2º or 3º HP option for checking mixes/masters (I almost never use headphones for this purpose). But never for taking decisions. Thanks for the video
Decent enough for the price. I paid £15 for mine from Amazon. I also MDR-XB550 which are a little bloated in the bass at times. They are no comparable to my Sennheiser HD600s but I didn't expect them to be because of the price difference. I mainly use these with my Samsung smartphone and they are OK whilst out and about. They do benefit from external amplification but that's something that pretty much all headphones sound better with.
i would say they are really good for listening to music, but pretty bad for music production. I have made quite a bit of beats when i used them and the beats sounded just as good as music that i listened to, which was all that i cared about. Well after switching to a different pair of headphones, although the music I listen to still sounds the same if not better, I can now hear some pretty bad frequencies in my own music that I couldn't hear before. So I would recommend never using cheap headphones for music production
I think Sony is one of the better headphones maker for the low price, I got Sony MDR-XB450 Bass Boosted 4 years ago and the only thing is that I need a new cushions, I have the feeling that the longer I have them the better they get.
I have these headphones right now! A friend got them for me 3 years ago, but I've been using them almost daily for 2 years. I'm a broke bitch. The headphones, while being worn for long periods of time, really start to give me headaches. Especially because I'm wearing glasses. The wrinkly stuff on the fabric of the earcups is mostly gone by now. I can also see the yellow sponge-y material on the right ear cup. The mic quality is pretty fascinating for such a price, atleast to me. The looks of the headphones aren't great right now, but it functions.
Hi Mate, I'm sorry to hear about your situation and I hope things improve for you soon. Its amazing that these headphones survives for this long. Low price or not, sony does make a pretty good product, at least from reliability point of view.
How big are the headphones because I've got a pretty small head and don't want some massive headphones that make me look like a clown when I have my camera on
That how high it can go even if you have latest flag shipp phone it will do its best to try to boost volune higher. Most headphone do have volume power 1 to 100 percent. Try jbl 500bt or 510bt (its loud) perfext and kick in bass better. There 50 dollar but usually go on sale for 30 dollar.
Imma be straight. I bought these because of the price and reviews said sound quality was best in this price range. My headphones i use to use died and were pretty old, i i figured ill use this one temporarily till i can get some Sennheiser brand later this year. I hope these are HQ when i get em.
Your model have a mic, its the zx110ap. If you press 2 times it change to the next track and if you press 3 times it change to the previous track. When you get a call you can press just one time to answer the call. This means you don´t have to take the phone out of your pocket to do these things.
Well, you can play games using this, nothing will prevent you from doing so. Though, the experience may be less than ideal, the functional aspect remains serviceable.
Burn in is not particularly needed for these headphones. Which means that what you have is how things will remain in the future. Have you tried connecting to a different source.
I think they would be, you want your mix to sound good on RU-vid or a phone , these represent what your audio will sound like on tiny speaker , the most listened to
@@CyberCatTechnologies I am very sure about that. The sound quality on these headphones are much better than on the Monster Clarity HD headphones. The build quality on the Monster Clarity HD Wireless headphones is better.
Foam padded headphones suck - 2 months in they start to peel and stick to youre ear. You wake up in the morning and its all over youre pillow and everything. The headphones look awful also when they are peeled. Avoid them like the plague!
Meh i will never suggest to avoid them just because of the flakes. They have good quality audio. Once all the fakes go you still have the cushion and they work very well. Best quality for the cheap price. Don't know what better you can get for 15$ or even lower price sometimes they go on sales. I have seen way worse on the market. If anyone doesnt want flaky headphones they know to put more than 15$ dollars on them.
It's actually preferable to peel off all of the vinyl material and leave the fabric only, even better if you open them and put foam behind the drivers, sound quality improves a ton and sounds more balanced.
WHERE ARE THE MDR 110 EARLY MODEL THAT ARE GREAT? THEY COST ABOUT $80 AND LOOK LIKE $3 PHONES -- BUT THEY ARE GREAT. AND NOT AROUND. IF YOU CAN FIND A PAIR -------BUY THEM. THEY ARE COMFORTABLE AND WORTH THE $80 EASY. JUST THE BEST TECH. SO WHY THE MDR ZX? WHAT IS THAT CHEAP NONSENSE? YOU WILL NOT GET GREAT SOUND FOR $15 -- BUT IN EARBUD COMPRESSION TIMES ---WHO CARES? SOME DO.
@@CyberCatTechnologies No. Marek is a guy that presents youtube channell "Marek drives", I think. The voice and way of presenting sounded the same. In a good way.
