I also noticed as the episodes progressed, the quality became less. Episode 1 though...it is a masterpiece. I'm in the Garnt camp on this one. Excellent choice. Naturally found the manga, got hyped about the animation and episode 1 kind of just maintains the energy and got pretty accurately translated into the motion media. It encapsulates the vibe. Fantastic choice. Well played.

What's even crazier about this visual novel / doujin is that there is an actual "All-Ages" manga version out there. It's the same premise, with the kid with the broken hands having the same problem and it features the same cast of nurses. It's pretty toned down despite the nurses having similar personalities to their original counterparts, the kid isn't as annoying and there's a lot of comedy you would expect in your typical ecchi / harem type of manga. Wonder if more of these adult only properties will take this route.

The first episode is still the best of those released so far.

1/2 Aaaah yes Sakusei Byoutou it is more than a story about a guy being watched over by cruel nurses before I tell the whole story, Sakusei Byoutou is a franchise that began with Shasei Kanri Seikatsu's CG created in 2018 by Sakusei Kenkyuujo. Its first adaptation was a live action film by S**** Collection Ward - Hospital Full Of Naughty Nurses Out For Your S****, a film that was released on October 23, 2020. Thanks to the great acceptance of the original work, the developer M's TOY BOX made a visual novel game with the same name, which was released on April 30, 2021. And the OVA Anime series, Sakusei Byoutou The Animation, produced by Pink Pineapple and animated by the Seven studio. A manga series of this franchise by Kameyama Shiruko which includes a chapter featuring Mochizuki a nurse who appears in the story when Numajiri watches over Yamada, but in this chapter she watches over Yamada as her nurse for a week. And there's an "all ages" manga, Sakusei Byoutou Zen Nenrei-Ban, that tells the same story but without as much violence and us more comedic and a bit lighthearted THE STORY (SPOILER WARNINGS) As you know Yamada's first week in the hospital is overseen by Tachibana, an overworked nurse who does her best to treat Yamada, and Yamada ends up having a crush on her despite her open disgust and dislike for Yamada When he hears her bad mouth him, she goes out of her way to make veiled threats and keep him silent, in the name of shielding a nursing staff which is ostensibly one eruption from their supervisor away from a total meltdown. When she finally announces her time on his case is over, she ends with a warning. At least according to her, she's one of the better nurses at the hospital. Then next week he watch over by Kurokawa, a hypocritical woman who thinks badly of everyone. She torments him into her vindictive feuds against others. Their acts include mundanely awful things (vandalizing Tachibana's locker) to some truly heinous ones. In particular, Kurokawa goads Yamada into **** Ijuin, a sleeping patient who Kurokawa doesn't like. Because this nurse doesn't like Tachibana, she uses Yamada to vandalize Tachibana locker to ruin all her personal things. When they were doing it, Tachibana arrives and she discovers them red-handed but the two escape before she realizes what they did to her things. Yamada gets very annoyed with Kurokawa for forcing him to do this to his first nurse, the woman he is attracted to. The two argue but the hypocritical nurse shuts him up. At the end of the torment she tells him that his week is over, so now he has to be taken care of by someone else. The next week he is watch over by Yamaguchi a former delinquent who torments Yamada with all sorts of tools. Yamada at one points founds out that Yamaguchi is in love with a patient but is afraid of him finding out her true personality, that is, a very aggressive and vulgar person. After finding out, Yamaguchi ends up having a kind and understanding manner towards Yamada but still uses tools for his treatment. When she is visiting the patient she likes, he brought up the idea that they should go get drinks together once he's discharged and told her to take Tachibana along Once she heard Tachibana name, she ran away just cause the patient she is interested in told her to take Tachibana to the appointment he proposed. She dragged Yamada, who was standing outside the door, along with her. When Yamada hugs her and advises her to start by treating other people nicely. When she hears those words she gets upset, and starts hitting him repeatedly and tells him that he is not one to lecture her, and all that. After finish tormenting him she left him in the linen room. Then Yamada ends up in the care of Hiramatsu who's a lazy nurse. Hiramatsu's week with Yamada eventually devolves to a point where Hiramatsu begins using his room as a break area and just telling him to whatever he wants with her while she sleeps instead of waking her up. Eventually Hiramatsu sleeps and does not attend to a staff meeting, where Tachibana, Kurokawa, and Yamaguchi are meeting with a very irritable head nurse. Tachibana and Kurokawa brought up the fact that Hiramatsu is not there, making excuses and saying that she's just obviously working hard on Yamada's treatment (they know the odds of this are slim). The head nurse, obviously dubious, goes to see for herself. She immediately finds Hiramatsu lying asleep on Yamada's bed, alongside empty cans of alcohol, an empty pochy box, and multiple cans of cup noodles. Her immediate reflex is to write Hiramatsu up for disciplinary action, arrange for security cameras to be placed throughout the hospital, including bathrooms and changing rooms, and promise to pay Yamada hush money. Yamada, Tachibana, Kurokawa, and Yamaguchi, take refuge in the linen room before security cameras are installed, passing blame around. Kurokawa tries to bond with the other two nurses over how draconian the security cameras are going to make things, but Tachibana remembers what happened to her locker. Tachibana and Yamaguchi further blame Kurokawa for bungling Hiramatsu's training, and she snaps back at them for not helping her out when it was clear Hiramatsu was a heavy problem case. Then everyone blames Yamada for not complaining about Hiramatsu's negligent care, despite all the grief he gave them. It all ends with s** that is not entirely joyless. Yamaguchi has fun testing her new Hyperweapon on Yamada. Kurokawa mounts and hurts Yamada, angrily yet affectionately declaring that the two will be BFFs (Bad Friends Forever). Tachibana steps in, and Yamada attempts to confess that he loves her, but this leads her face to contort into a truly disgusted snarl, and she tells him in no uncertain terms that she hates his guts. Afterwards they left Yamada in the linen room. The next weeks Yamada gets supervised by a trio of nurses that are nightmarishly awful then Tachibana, Kurokawa, and Yamaguchi. “Obsessive Nurse” Numajiri ; the stalker who seems interested in Yamada, who torments Yamada in many ways and forced a hospital store clerk into her shenanigans. “Black-Hearted Nurse” Kiritani ; a former delinquent with dark intentions, at first she acted like a kind person to Yamada to the point that Yamada thought he encountered a good nurse for once but once Yamaguchi found out who is taking care of Yamada, ahe tried to warn Yamada not to provoke her but doubts her. She then put stuff in Yamada's food and made him act like a dog in front of other nurses. He encountered Kurokawa once again when she lost her nurse hat and blames Kiritani and uses Yamada once again to vandalize a locker this time Kiritani. When they did, they are caught by Kiritani and her followers, it was revealed that one of Kiritani followers saw, heard, and recorded Kurokawa's plans to vandalize Kiritani locker. It turns out that Kurokawa is deeply afraid of Kiritani, and tormented both Kurokawa and Yamada and left them in the locker with Yamada lying next to a crying Kurokawa bad mouthing herself. Yamada is then in the care of “Psychopathic Nurse” Tendo; the insane nurse who can't stop laughing, and does what she wants since she related to the Head Nurse, and has a thing taking a #1 on Yamada. When she purposely spilled Yamada's #1 on Hiramatsu and Mochizuki, and goes #1 on Yamada, she is stopped by Tachibana who called her out on her actions, while Numajiri and Kiritani justify it as an accident, Tachibana is stopped by Yamaguchi due to knowing how dangerous they are. Yamada, Hiramatsu, and Mochizuki took a bathing together, and afterwards they found out from Yamaguchi, that Tachibana pasted out due to overwork and is lying on Yamada's bed. Yamaguchi talks to Yamada, Hiramatsu, and Mochizuki, during conversation before Yamaguchi sends Hiramatsu and Mochizuki back to work she mentions that she regrets her actions towards Yamada and vowed to be a nicer person.

The first Nurse hates the job but is somewhat neutral about the situation. The other Nurses are far worse and even the Doctor in charge of his care set all of this up.

My conclusion of the series considering it was always at night time and they could've used a plethera of different fleshlights but they didn't, is that the nurses were taking advantage of this kid because he couldn't really complain to anyone about them saving his balls from exploding (and they probably got off on insulting him which is a kink), there was no evidence even if he did, and nobody would care
