Apparently according to people who read the original doujin the MC and his girl in the first episode ended up in an open relationship. While yes the girl was at it with other guys the mc was doing the same with other girls so I feel like it balanced it out (also main girl still enjoyed herself with mc so I don't think its as bad as the boys are making it out to be).

Also I don’t thing the 1st episode is nearly as bad as they made it seem, the main guy got a little insecure but the girl was never lying about preferring him, she had fun with the other guy because it was mutually agreed upon to switch but she still loved the main guy and ultimately preferred him.
