Spot on Courtney. Integrity is also about boundaries for me. People of integrity have strong boundaries and they enforce them kindly but firmly. They also give the best of themselves and ask the best from the people in their lives.

I listened to this twice in as many days as I was at work and finally had time to respond. I never really recognized this until my husband said to me how he never found integrity/morality and a safe sense of security in his family- seeing his mum be unfaithful to his dad for their entire relationship… then his last 2 relationships failing bc of the lack of integrity bc the women were unfaithful to him. I didn’t even think much of it until he said that I showed him and gave him peace of mind that he can now find safety and rest with me. It was hard for the first 2 yrs of our relationship bc other women didn’t show him we could be trusted. It was an uncomfortable learning experience for us both but 17 yrs later, we’re still together and our relationship has been the strongest it’s ever been! Thanks, Courtney! Your unique presence and gentle care and delivery shines through your video ♥️

My wife tells me I have an "Insane kind of integrity". Not sure what that means. For me, a lot of integrity is introspection. You have to not only know what you want and believe, but why you want and believe those things. If you don't know why you believe what you believe, you can never act on it in any meaningful manner. So I have spent a lot of time picking apart what I believe and seeing if it holds water, or still holds water. And changing what I believe if I find I am in error, no matter how deeply held the belief. It is painful. But without this, you can never be the person you want to be. In order to say what you mean, you have to mean what you say. Everything has to align, from belief, to thought, to speech, to actions. Then, keeping your promises becomes a lot easier, because you mean what you say, and believe in what you say. This introspection also defeats the ego. When you can admit, within yourself, that you were wrong about something, and you are committed to being a person that's worth a damn, it isn't a big deal to admit you are wrong on the outside. Morals, forthrightness, honesty and humility will come naturally as a consequence. So introspect, and work on yourself. Heal the past truamas. And yeah, it isn't easy. Life is seldom easy, but it is usually just that simple.

Fresh ideas about life, love and relationships. I’ve watched a lot of relationship vlogs recently in the last few years, mostly from the MGTOW and Red Pill community but yours is the only one on relationships from the female gender I keep coming back to and typically watch as soon as it comes out. I really appreciate the perspective you share. You’ve given me some great advice and helped me out more than a few times when I’ve gone on a date. I'm actually glad you chose Integrity as the number 1 value besides Confidence. This is what ALL women should not seek in a man but also strive to have themselves. I also value Integrity a lot because I love my alone time and I always try to strive to get/refine the values/morals you've listed. Unfortunately, not alot of Men and Women value Integrity as much now-a-days so those that do are rare gems and should be careful the kind of people they associate with or hangout and of course be careful what kind of content a person should consume. Self-Respect and Boundaries are a big one as well.

Ms. Courtney, Integrity is one of my favorite words. You said a man of integrity admits when he is wrong because he is a “nice guy”. I don’t agree with the “nice guy title”, I agree with other quality traits on your list but not this one. A “nice guy” is a pushover that doesn’t standup for himself or others. A man (gentleman) knows who he is and can put someone in there place if need to and stands up to defend himself and others. He has strength of character. He does what is morally correct no matter what others think.

I thought the Answer was going to be Kindness - but Integrity wraps it all up perfectly. Well done!! I've been told by many that I'm very Authentic and Honest, to a fault I think though. I'm unapologetically me, I over share, I talk to much, I tend to let my Emotions run me a little bit. I'm flawed, but.. I'm also still learning and working on myself to find a better balance of it all.

So true. I learned this early on from one of my heroes: my father (mom’s the other hero). In order to maintain integrity, you must first know what your principles are. If you do not know what your principles are, it’s not that you don’t have any; it’s that you are blindly following someone else’s, or whatever new thing comes along. When you become scattered about like this, you are now dis- integrating like a rickety building collapsing in on itself because it was built with weak beams on a soft foundation.

The reluctance of some people to admit being wrong is such a pivotal one. You can instantly tell if someone genuinely cares about their intellectual growth, or if their only concern is winning by scoring social brownie points. People that are so rigid in their beliefs that they outright refuse to accept being wrong even when faced with new evidence are usually super egotistical and narcissistic. You can provide them with a million different counter points to their position and their kneejerk reaction will be to dismiss them so that they can save face.

From what I've gathered, a lot of the content on youtube that could be perceived as 'toxic' stems from the fact that there are many (certainly not all) men who have lived according to the principles laid out in the video, only to find themselves less successful dating-wise than other men who employ manipulative and potentially immoral tactics. From a morality standpoint, your message is spot on for men who want to achieve fulfilment and success as an individual. But in terms of being attractive to the opposite sex, it is arguable that many men have found such advice to be less effective than other practical implementations, ie. building an athletic physique, improving their lifestyle and status, etc. In short, I think modern men are waking up to the fact that the social message of 'being a stand-up guy alone will make you attractive" is simply not the full story. There is a demand for guidance about how men can utilise and disinhibit intrinsic masculinity because it is attractive to women by definition, and this is neither toxic nor positive in itself. A lot of men have instead been taught that masculinity is not neutral, but a flaw. The toxic nature of the content you refer to is possibly that way due to the fact that there are many men who unknowingly think that they have to cater to women with a preference for toxicity (casual hookup culture is a factor). Another reason for perceivably toxic content is that a large amount of men have been morally upstanding, 'followed the rules' for years only to have been burned/cheated on for no reason. It is certainly very important for messages like that contained in the video to be conveyed. But to present them as a panacea for dating is potentially misleading for those who don't understand that qualities like integrity function more like the solid base of a cake that is comprised of several other ingredients, which by my own estimation, definitely DO NOT require toxicity, but certainly do require strong masculinity and all that it entails (e.g. integrity).

Underrated comment. I been in the game for over a decade, and basically seen it all. The things that attract most females, most men just don't have. If you have the looks, height, and build. I can teach almost any man the attitude needed to attract most females into bed with you. Integrity might help, but that's far down an attractive woman's list of wants.
@vkk5058
@vkk5058 3 года назад
@@brocklanders3616 Definitely agree with both of you. Guys, if you think you're going to score the woman of your dreams (btw this doesn't really exist) by just the virtue of your integrity then you're going to run head first into a ambush. Remember this axiom - what women say they want is NOT what they really want. Monitor/study their behaviour NOT their words. You have to build up your physical profile (lift, run, eat right), your mental attributes (education, resilience), soul (religion, peace, stillness), game (suave, 'natural', be in the moment, connect the dots, read the signs, non-arrogant indifference) and most importantly PURPOSE. When you chase what you want and put the work in then women will notice and might even chase you. Yes, looks and height absolutely help and in the 18-30 year old bracket they are probably the deciding factors. But they aren't the be all and end all for all stages of your life. Every bit helps.

I have always tried to be reliable to friends and family. I have an eagerness to be helpful and honorable. However, I also used to be so cowardly, non-punctual and non-confrontational in places where I was uncomfortable. When I started my current job, there was a situation in which a couple coworkers were behaving poorly and everyone was afraid to say anything. I stepped up, emulating a former boss, and corrected the situation without being disrespectful. I acknowledged their strengths but demanded improvement, promising future conversations if they got out of line. From then on, those coworkers actually changed and gained respect for me. This was the beginning of a new me, where for the first time in my life, I was surrounded by people who respected me and my honest ways. I maintain this and get to take it home. I'm not perfect, and accepting that is integral to identifying my problem areas and helping others with their issues. It all starts with standing by your principles and tackling issues as they occur. You may slip up now and again, but keep pushing forward and make the next moment count.

Thanks for your insight Courtney! I’m definitely guilty of overreacting to things in the moment that frustrate me. A good way to know if your integrity is improving is seeing how quickly you reflect on that experience. Does the guilt hit you immediately when you do or say something that you know was wrong? Honesty and kindness unfortunately don’t come natural to a lot of people these days

This is the reason I absolutely love women and can't stand the bullshit everywhere about manipulating women to love them. Women love a person who is true to themselves and their values. The desire to be with a woman we love will ultimately bring us back to who we are at our core. Feminine energy brings out the masculine essence of a man and that is the key to a virtuous life and a happy life.

First of all I have to say that I fancy your English speaking. On the integrity I could say that it is tough to be a man of integrity. We are all born with different character traits and flaws. It is possible to cultivate this trait starting from the younger age. In today's fast changing world, I think we have to be a bit flexible. Life is hard. I wish I could have been a man of integrity. Your words inspire me toward being a man of integrity. Cheers to you! You rock!

Thank you for good advises. I was married, had two daughters. after 10 years of marriage, no intimacy anymore, i was the worst kind of a father, i used to hear. i was thoroughly nervous, stressed and shouting too. Aged 52 i shouted to my daughter for no reason, i really wanted to change. I found books about keto diet which gave the advice to keep grains out of diet for 8 weeks and take butter instead. Taking butter felt like suicide but i did it. It changed me totally, i have not shouted to anybody, got peace of mind, my sight got better, butter did not kill me after all. Now i am 60, healthier than ever, i am in carnivore diet.

I think a lot of guys confuse integrity with being "Nice"...........integrity can actually mean being anything but nice. Telling the truth even though it might hurt someones feelings, disappointing them or making them angry at you. Doing the right thing even if everyone else turns against you. Holding to the truth and not compromising your morals for popularity or approval. Thats a man you can trust.

My integrity is top notch ,and it’s gotten me about to be homeless. Stepping up to care for my mom since the rest of my family abandoned her left me with nothing. She passed in May and I’ve been attacked at every turn since. By greedy, manipulative, drug addicted siblings to cold impersonal rental companies that are buying up everything.

Lovely! i do agree that integrity is the most important trait that will culminate in all the other important (and desirable) traits! But i GOTTA add my piece to this: The path to GET to integrity is not just knowledge of searching and understanding it... The seed for integrity is WISDOM. A man that pursues wisdom will naturay fall into integrity because it will be a natural implementation of understanding life as wiser as one get. And if you must dig deeper, the tools to get to wisdom are Curiosity and genuine interest (not to confuse with general interest.) Example: someone interested in success will chase something already defined/known with steps and systems... But someone interested on the sunset or on a passing butterfly, is having that drive in a natural way with no second thoughts or complex thinking.

What an important message. I’ve been successful in life in many areas of my life. However the one thing I have struggled at times is keeping my cool. Being calm and collected. Example I get upset if someone cuts me off. I am working on this and trying to manage emotions. There are a number of literary documents out there. Just wanted to share. If you struggle with this please work on yourself. It is probably the number one reason why I am divorced after 23yrs of marriage. I played my part and accountable for my actions.

I love what you say about integrity i’m 18 about to be 19 and I’ve spent the last six years of my teenage life in a youth prison but one of the biggest things that got me out was integrity most people fake it to make it but they never actually change their life they did the right thing in front of the guards and cameras but behind the scenes were doing things that they weren’t supposed to do how I got out was I started off the same way but realized the only way I’ll be able to get out and stay out was doing the right thing because it’s the right thing to do most of the time I don’t get along with people my age I only get along with people that are a lot older than me I want to be the best me that I can be and help anyone else be the best them that they can be I look at the world in a different perspective compared to most people my age i’m judged by a lot of people because of my criminal background people think that people who are criminals are automatically horrible people and can’t be changed even though that it is harder for other people to change and some people just don’t grow up there are a lot of people who can change and actually do change I am actually legally blind and love playing chess iamb a really nice person and love being productive I am hard-working and love to help people but as soon as someone hears that I’ve been to jail none of those things matter but I have feelings just like the next person I love that you talk about loving your self but once that step is completed the next step is to love the next person for everything that they are because no one is perfect we all fall down but it’s not how hard you fall but how you pick yourself back up and keep going

Usually: "Confidence" Hears: "Integrity" About time one gets it - but will the cousin sisters reciprocate? --- the quote "men of integrity value what is honest, true, noble, trustworthy & kind ahead of personal gain" - So in a sense integrity is honesty & empathy put together in one. Who are you when no one watches? Consistent! He is himself / authentic, goes after what they want, They are positive & reject gossip and negativity. They are cool headed - do they keep it even in conflict! or say personal points! Are You honest - words & acts match Admit when you are wrong - not just when you caught (but have wisdom) Empathy! - leave no mean comments. says she wants light over hate. ppl's friends have an impact on you like hadith says! As for how confidence plays in words match your acts, so you trust yourself & confident via your acts and moraIs, and this is a big indicator others can trust you! Integrity can make a person lacks drive, who are you when no one is watching, there is always someone watching you! ( if you are a Muslim even the angels) --- A girI of integrity is a modest one - not seeking validation or giving mixed signals.

Integrity is very important as it directly goes to the issue of trust. For women, she wants to trust you. BUT you need to understand this. Trust feeds her COMFORT, it does not feed her ATTRACTION, at least not directly. These are the two factors that female love requires. Thus integrity is more of a long term factor in a woman’s feelings for you and by itself it doesn’t make her sexually desire you more. So no, she’s not going to smash on the first date because you have integrity! You’ve got to spike her attraction for that. Learning what behaviors feed the two parts of female love, attraction and comfort, is really important as you absolutely need to maintain both for long term success. Plus they need to be slightly in tension for the best results. Withdrawing a bit of comfort can spike her attraction for instance, assuming the underlying love is there. Ever had a ding-dong argument with your wife or GF? Make up sex was pretty good after wasn’t it? That’s an example!

I do all of these things exactly like she described, I am one of the most positive people you will ever meet. If someone is being mean to me I have reached the confidence to not care what anyone thinks and need only self validation. So if someone is being mean to me I actually refuse to let their behavior change my core self and who I know myself be which is treat everyone with respect and be nice and this mean person means nothing to me and neither does their opinion. I realized I don't have understand why their upset, why they are taking it out on me, if I did something wrong to them, and I don't have to worry about them having an actual valid reason because there is no valid reason to be an asshole to someone. NONE of their issues are my problem, if they are being total assholes and insulting me it doesn't make me mad because none of it is true and its meant to hurt me but none of what they say means anything to me or has any effect whatsoever on my life. I honestly kinda feel sorry for them because letting things make you sad and mad and lash out at people and destroy a happy state of mind that is absolutely horrible and toxic to you and so difficult to be in. Basically if you let anyone you don't know or even friends have the power over you to change you into a negative sad state and also reacting negatively to them in retaliation brings you into a negative angry type of mood. You over think things, you interpret things you hear or situations in completely the world is out to get you interpretation and none of it actually was anything bad in the first place. So I refuse to let some situation or person actually have the power over me to change my natural state of happy and positive and making people laugh and I improve the mood of everyone around all the time. I am an Empath and my positivity is super contagious.. If someone is being mean to you or something, its up to you to realize their bullshit doesn't actually matter to you in any way or that you need to react back and defend yourself against their words they aren't true and meant to make you upset. Guess what happens when you care so little about them and their words mean so little to you that you don't even need to say mean things back or get mad at them or feel like you need to understand why they are doing it. When you don't react to their bullshit it literally puts everything in perspective immediately, their whole plan to be mean to you and make you upset is doing absolutely nothing. Then its actually hard for someone to maintain that level of aggression when the person is not getting mad because it just makes them look crazy even to themselves. The funny thing is that since I take this non reactive nice and not mean and never insult people because I don't see the point, I don't actually need to make someone else feel bad even if they are being mean to me, I get no satisfaction at all from that. Anyways even if there is a legitimate reason to be really sad and angry like your friend did something bad, it is important to protect your state of mind from letting yourself be too negatively effected so much that you are hurting and depressed and now all you can do is dwell in that terrible state of mind. You need to stay happy and in a positive state of mind because then you can actually deal with the issue and solve it and be productive and deal with the problem in a healthy rational way.

Okay - So I have a TON to say on this topic. While I completely agree with you 10000000000000000%, where this comes into question is that this rarely leads to success in Corporate America. I believe what happens is that in your 20's you're idealistic and see the world for how it "should" be.... then as you age... you see the world exactly how it "is". Sadly, in Corporate America, backstabbing, exaggeration, blackmail, nepotism, nihilism, complacency, compliance, etc are all Tremendously rewarded/enabled/encouraged MORE than any of the positive behaviors, traits, thought processes etc that you've stated here (just ask anyone that's older than you are). This is why it's now more important than ever for both GenZers and Millennials to start their own businesses, and get out of Corporate America. We all love the movie where the hero wins, but from what I've seen, and I'm sure many here would agree - We're now in a place where dishonesty, learned victimhood, mindless compliance, ego, etc are sadly seen as somehow, in a strange mind F, as Celebrated. There's mass brainwashing that's occurred to many having gone through your garden variety K-12+4 school system (please watch the darkhorse podcast on: "what is school and why are they failing..." it's profound mic drop material that will render you speechless!!!!) While the majority of that is out of my personal control, what you'll see as your career progresses in Corporate America (should you choose to go that route), is that you'll witness those doing wrong as being rewarded. Think that "open door policy" is going to work in your favor as you "speak up".... yeah no.... (remember wells fargo? and how those people spoke up and got canned like Tuna!?). It's very very sad, and really, honestly, I know this may come across as a bitter statement, but women don't care HOW the guy got the house/car/lifestyle/material possessions/nice clothes/etc. Whether they earned it from a nobility perspective, or they stole it, or they built it by stealing, or dealing drugs; Women simply do not care. As Rich Cooper says: "They hangout at the finish line and wait for the winners....". My fave are all of the stories where when the guy gets nailed and tossed in prison, they always come to the same conclusion: The wife "had no idea..."

I used to firmly believe that all the advise from women on women was wrong. But I've been listening to a lot of Courtney's vids and they make a hell of a lot of sense. It's really a shame so many of us men were spoon fed lies about women which causes us to come up very short for what women are looking for. At the same time it's causing men to despise women because people despise what they do not understand. Case in point, 60 years ago with race. Once people are familiarized with things and understand them for what they are they can grow to accept them and adapt. Honestly I wish Courtney had more subs and viewers because women like her are a great help to men and women alike. Rather than women repeating red pill talking points to cash in on lonely men they could reaffirm views from those like Courtney or Jennifer Moleski. We younger guys bash on women a lot and we have a right a lot of the time because of how they act. But what we fail to realize is that a lot of us play into the same trap those girls did. This is less of a gender issue and more of an overall maturity crisis we are having in this country. We grew up with too much and so we appreciate little. I think we need to be more real with ourselves and our situations. Lots of us came from broken homes, but we dont have to let that define our futures. We can push forward and make something more of ourselves, grow, and share our wisdom with our own children when the time comes so they don't fall into the same traps.

I feel like I've been struggling the past few years, even now (but less), with being my real self. Not more, not less. I've had this attitude I guess because every day the guys who had success with girls, were always ones who kept acting like they are cool, always exagerating about every single they say and bragging about how that drunken party so much fun was. Integrity is definitely a value I have to keep in mind.

There's going to be at least one person who watches this video and feels as if they have these traits but their life doesn't improve, or that their efforts go unnoticed. I have been feeling this way for the past couple months, but that's because I was focusing on the wrong things. I have never had a girlfriend before, women still curve me despite my efforts. What I had to realize is that there are people who notice how much work I put into being a man of integrity. Nothing feels better than when my little brother and sister come home from school and run straight towards me. The way they look at me, it seems as their eyes are sparkling, makes me feel appreciated and like I am someone others can look up to. My parents will often brag about me to their friends or co-workers. I personally think they gas me up a bit much, but they take pleasure in how much I have grown as an individual and that means a lot to me. Your best efforts do not go unnoticed. You will fall, but I am confident that you will not stay down for long, and that you will continue walking in the way you feel is best for you. Please don't stop being a great individual, do it for the random guy in the comment section of a RU-vid video.
