Hello! I also use a few other tricks to check watermelons. I am never confident enough to judge them based on their weight or sound, so I tend to focus on appearances. Just wanted to share :) 1. Round watermelons will always be sweeter than oblong watermelons. 2. Dark matte watermelons are sweeter than the bright green shiny watermelons 3. The more webbing you see, the sweeter the flavour (look for the ones with a TON of webbing) Out of everything, the webbing and yellow spot are the most essential factors IMO
