@@zhanicaarrindell5579 but compared to what they sell in Kruidvat or Etos. It is still pricier than Dove or Nivea. I also buy it online too cause i can find them on sale.
Hi LRP! I dont think we can get Melt-in sunscreen milk here in Europe, or maybe it's just sold under a different name? Can you clarify please? Thank you :)
I swear that Effaclar Duo cream combined with their Effaclar cleanser SAVED my skin when I was going through the worst acne of my life. Highly recommend, I still use them 3 years after. What I also love is that you can get the cleanser in a refillable pump-bottle. Makes me happy knowing that the brand I love is thinking about the environment
Cicaplast Baume B5 is amazing !!! I've been putting this B5 Baume on then Vaseline on top. I damaged my skin barrier using too much retinol and AHA/BHA and this has helped it immensely. From 🇨🇦
I absolutely love La Roche Posay. I'm in the UK and I think the ingredients are a little different from the US. My favourites are the Effaclar Cleansing Foaming Gel, Effaclar lotion astringent and the Retinol B3 serum. They are really good and have done wonders for my skin!
The lipikar balm has really helped with the hyperpigmentatuon on the back of my thighs. It also seems to have reduced the itching I'm prone to getting too.
if you have oily skin, i highly recommend LRP’s effaclar mat moisturiser!!!! it’s been working fabulously for me. moisturises my skin well (i used to have dry patches and they went away after 3 days of using this moisturiser) AND it leaves a nice matte finish on my face (the first moisturiser that truly leaves one).
same! first time trying yesterday and it looked damn well under my sunscreen! i never blot at all around 12hrs and my face doesnt look greasy . usually half of the day i need to blot but im so amazed its so good
Trust LRP, the products are solid, the Cicaplast balm for face and the one for lips are both AMAZING! But their new Lipikar AP+M balm is a new fav of mine while using tretinion in Canadian winter here❄️ The brand was nice and fast responding to my questions to the AP+M balm, that is contains 4% Niacinamide which is good enough % (and I cut back the serum to avoid duplication)
The La Roche-Posay lipid enriched cleansing bar is amazing. I havent really seen many reviews, but has niacinamide and shea butter and helped reduce my skin drying out during the winter.
I have dry skin and atopic dermatitis and had been using Clarins’ gentle line for years. Unfortunately I heard that it’s being discontinued so I started hunting for a new face moisturizer to try. I was nervous to try LRP and basically ANY other brand because I had even reacted to products by big brands that specifically target sensitive skin. But wow LRP’s toleriane line was perfect. No irritation at all. Calmed my skin. I’d say even better than my old clarins product.
I love adapolene! Inexpensive, and after a year of use, my skin looks good...even at my age. Miracle? No, I still have wrinkles and sagging, but I look better, younger. Will try the balm!
Over the last five years of greatly improving my skin health with a very strict skincare regime, I have inadvertently given myself worsening dry eye (Meibomian Gland Dysfunction +). Turns out that Tretinoin (and all retinoids), Butylene Glycol, Phenoxyethanol, and other popular ingredients can slowly, but permanently kill off cells that help with eye gland function in some people. La Roche Posay is one of the few affordable companies on the market selling moisturisers (their Toleriane line). Life savers.
@@bessiebigsis782 I use a lot of products from their Toleriane line which is for sensitive skin, in particular, their Dermo Milky Cleanser, Spring Water, and Ultra moisturizer.
I also love their Toleriane Double Repair moisturizer. I think Dr Dray had recommended it in a past video. I used to stay away from "basic" moisturizers because I thought I needed to pack as many actives as possible into my routine, and I had persistent redness. I'm so glad I started following Dr Dray' less is more approach! The Double Repair moisturizer is honestly one of the most pleasant moisturizers I've ever used, which I didn't really expect because of the "clinical" look of the tube. The texture is very elegant and it's not at all heavy, although it does a great job at moisturizing dry skin. Totally recommend that one if you have dry or sensitive skin but don't like overly rich textures.
Completely agree! It’s the one moisturizer I keep going back to year after year because it works so well for me. So good for dry skin without being heavy.
God i still remember when i got super angry on the LRP video from hyram, literally stopped watching his videos since. Btw after the current Korean Sunscreens scandal i really stocking up on lrp shaka fluid for the spring 😂 Edit: I know he managed to hit the jackpot with the teen audience but as 30 yrs old man i couldn’t care any less.
I really don't understand the hype around Hyram tbh. You can tell his knowledge regarding skincare is very limited considering his qualifications and age ofcourse. Demonizing ingredients and brands makes people feel bad about what they've been doing their entire lives and working just fine. Not everyone can afford Korean beauty and those new hip brands with hundred ingredients and what not. My skin has been doing just fine these 31 years with my tret, Neutrogena sunscreen and moisturizer no thank you
I feel you! I got so angry with that video!!! LRP has one of the best sunscreen in the market and Hiram just trashed because he thinks it's bad for coral reefs, which BTW,it is not!
Glad you did this, I didn't know LRP had adapalene! Especially at a better price point than Differin. Found it on sale in the Amazon yesterday at 17.99 for 45g tube, bought it. Thanks! 👍
It is such a shame that one of the best, most modern and effective UV filters are not approved in US. LRP has for Europe most amazing sunscreens, all with very high UVA ;-) protection
They have that Lipikar balm in a giant pump bottle, well... giant... 500ml (edit: oops, it's "only" 400ml). ;) I have used La Roche Posay in the past, when I was struggling in my 20s with hormonal acne and they are nice.
Many of my current favorites. I had a bad experience with a new cleanser I tried. I switched to the cream cleanser, I use the cicaplast baume in the evening over the aveeno oat serum & the toleraine moisturizer in the day under sunscreen. Amazing!
Hearing that effeclar duo is a SPOT TREATMENT and realizing my teenage self was applying it all over my face twice a day and wondering why am I so flaky and dry is CHILLING. I’m honestly surprised I still have skin.
Dr Dray is just suggesting to use it as a spot treatment. When you look it up, it's advertised as a regular face cream for problematic skin. I think the way you should use it depends on your skin type. I use it all over my face and it's the only product I know which is able to actually control my sebum production and keeps my skin matte throughout the day even without powder (and helps with acne, of course).
@@azusa21 when you look up glycolic acid or salicylic acid toners they’re suggested to use twice a day :O when in fact it should be once a week. Absolutely depends on the skin! But marketing and labels are to be taken with a pound of salt ;)
@@susanar6780 I like hearing that. I double cleanse as well but I'm tired of it. I would like to do a 1 step to get everything off. I'm glad you like the body and face wash. Thank you!🤗
one thing that I can not live without is Cicaplast. I've discovered years ago and it was so cheap nowadays it's on a bit expensive side. I have 2 of my stock always.
I'm using for last few months under my makeup Cicaplast baume b5 spf50 and I love it, it's winter time in Europe and I find it very moisturising and protecting. I also use Effaclar A.I. for imperfections and I love it very much. Thank you very much for this review. ❤Love❤ from Slovakia
I do use it as an all over face moisturiser, my skin gets pretty dry- however if you’re more on the oily side you may just want to use it when you have a compromised skin barrier or on other body parts. It works great on burns and scratches as well.
Lipikar AP and Avene retinaldehyde every night...they changed the quality of my face !!! No further hard chemicals!!! See the treinoid I tried, although did no bad on my face, did something worse to my organism leading to many problems outside the skin! Nice video this one as all your videos! Hre in Europe Avene and La Rouche Posay are affordable and beloved!, especially their sunscreens! Nice to take also the confirmation from you !!! Keep up excellent work! Love from Greece!
The cicaplast balm is my favorite! I discovered it when I was searching for OTC balm for my chapped lips! I didn’t use Vaseline in my lips cause it is petroleum.. anyways, I swear by this product. It’s really great!
I love la roche posay . I haven’t tried all their products, but so far my fav is their tolerane soft gel cleanser ph5.5. Fragrance free soap free. I have gone thorough 4 bottles in the past years. It’s great for dry sensitive skin and all year around, I have tried many cleansers and I always go back to this one
I love this brand. I just went to france and really stocked up on Cicaplast Baume (my nightly moisturizer). There were a lot of products they had in france that I couldn't find availab;e here. One was Cicaplast Baume with SPF 50- I bought some of that- daytime moisturizer for me!
I got wind burn at a sporting event four days ago and my face is screaming. I started using the CeraVe moisturizing cream yesterday and my skin feels so much calmer today, but I’m heading out and picking up the Cicaplast Baume today to really address the irritation and burning on my cheekbones.
I have been using cicaplast baum because I was having a lot of dryness and peeling in the winter but it seems to have given me acne and actually hasn’t helped a massive amount with the dryness. I’m pretty gutted!
I love the lipikar baume. Use it on my face and it’s perfect in the dry cold climate where I live. Tried Cerave, but did not do it for me; I can see how someone in a more humid climate would prefer Cerave over the LRP baume. Cheers!
I don't know if this is widely available, but Effaclar micro peeling gel with LHA and BHA completely solved my problem with bumpy skin on the back of arms and legs for the first time in my life, amazing on the face as well ;)
Loooooove La Roche Posay. The Lipikar balm it´s pretty similar as the Bioderma Atoderm PP Baume wich is AWESOME, both with niacinamide, no fragance and REALLY gentle for face skin. I´m using the Lipikar Fluide with niacinamide too absolutely reccomended for those who wants a lighter texture. Beautiful face after 15 days of use. Where´s the Efflacar purifying face wash gel? Not mentioned here. Incredible product!
I absolutely love this brand. Do you have a video on aging in your late 30s? I have fine lines, hyperpigmentation and dull skin. Any tips? I feel these days I buy things and they don’t even work
I can't find the Adapalene gel in Europe. But they offer the "La Roche Posay Retinol B3" and the "Roche Posay Redermic R" so which one would you recommend as an alternative to the Adapalene?
Hey guys, I'm also living in Europe. Ask your derms to prescribe you with epiduo! I suffer from hormonal acne and it is the only topical treatment that has actually worked! It takes some time but totally worth it
I love LRP products.😍 Still can’t understand why in the US you say this is a “drugstore brand”, it actually is a french pharmacy skincare brand. In Europe there are no drugstores that sell LRP, can get it only in pharmacy😗
It’s because here, the drug store and pharmacy are the same thing/interchangeable. The pharmacy section in our drug stores are used for prescription only products, LRP however can be found in the normal skincare aisle and we don’t need a doctors prescription to purchase it which is why we say “drugstore brand”. I hope this helps.
I don't know how I only just discovered this brand. I am obsessed with it. I love that I can use their lipikar ap+ balm for body and face (best when applied to damp skin). Same with the lipikar ap+ face and body wash. In that regard, I feel like its a better value because I get two uses for each product. I also use the cicaplast balm when my skin is irritated. I switched from dermalogica to this and I actually think their products are as effective.
The Toleriane hydrating cleanser is a dupe for the Rodan and Fields Sooth line cleanser. That cleanser is really good for sensitive skin but it’s expensive. The La Posay is a great dupe
I love their suncream! so moisturising and gentle on my excema skin. Also my indian boyfriend with quite dark skin can use without the whitecast, so love that it works for us both 🤗
La Roche Posay dermo cleanser is fantastic for my dry skin. The price point is high however. Luckily Matas cleanser for dry skin works just as well and costs a third of the price, so I'm using that now.
📸 Kinda late but Congrats on hitting 1 Million Subscribers❣️ I have followed you for so long and your content just gets better 😍 Thank you for educating us on products we can us for everything skin related 🙏
The melt-in sunscreen from la roche is not as good as the kids formula for the face. The kid’s formula doesn’t ball up or pill and it gives your face a beautiful glow. I’m from Canada so we have the spf 50 with mexoryl formulas.
Unless it's new, she's said before that she hasn't found enough Vichy products she likes to do a top 10. I know one of the beauty bloggers I follow likes the Vichy Liftactiv Vit C Serum.
you can buy at walgreens and use your cash back points to buy la roche posay or buy at target when they have a spend $25 and get $5 then use the $5 towards expensive brands like La roche posay
La Roche Posay is my holy grail for now. I just started using it 2 months ago for dry and acne skin, and it helps, I use the Cicaplast balm, with OXY 5, that's all. Since it gets better, I add on LRP serum, if this serum doesn't work I'm gonna stop buying it. Happy with result now, just need to maintain using it for now. And stop going for facial or spa they don't help at all.
The sunscreen melt in thing was absolutely terrible on me I made sure to have dry moisturized skin then put on a generous amount it pilled , left a terrible cast and im gonna give it another go tomorrow hopefully it goes well
@K B terrible it sadly didnt moisturize at all left a white cast even tho i have light skin id say ( you can be the judge jus watch one of my vids) and yah pilled left very dry......actually just got the black girls sunscreen kids version spf 50 and have heard incredible things about it, i have a lot of hope :)
Has anyone tried both Differin and the LRP adapalene? (Not simultaneously, of course.) I‘m looking to try the LRP adapelene when I’m done with Differin, and I wonder if it’s less irritating.
Have you tried The Body Shop vitamin e body butter? You stated in another video that you have eczema. My occasional eczema prone skin loves it. I have been using it for years and use it on my face as well without any issues. Maybe it could be helpful to you as well.
