Important things as well: 0:51 First thing - Showering in the morning; 2:10 Second thing - Using a tongue scraper; 3:00 Third thing - Having a skin care routine; 4:50 Forth thing - Tidy up; 6:20 Fifth thing - Apply a fragrance; and 7:16 Sixth thing - Dress for success. I can agree with all what you have told as well Courtney. Among the mentioned things I can add few of them as well. And those are: 1. Eating healthy; 2. Doing some exercise; 3. Educating yourself. I can agree that one day I'll be thankful for the advice's that you gave as well. I wish only if someone could of tell us some of these things a bit earlier as well. But as they say: Better late than never (or better to be told like this:Better ever, than never 😉🙃🙂🧐🤓😎).
You are seriously my favorite in this business. You are so kind and balance that with being direct and no bs. Such a breath of fresh air vs all the junk that is out there!
Shower twice a day is a thing can’t skip it morning and night. Morning routine shower is my favorite time to prepare myself for work. It also helps me to stay motivated, focus, comes with a bonus a refreshing feeling and a positive thoughts throughout the day. I don’t believe in breakfast. What keeps myself energized either orange juice is my choice in the morning or a water bottle plain and simple. Lunch time I snack keeps me boosted throughout the day unless my buddies wanted to go out for lunch then I’ll eat. Healthy routine after work, you can’t miss workouts. Sometimes I play volleyball with friends it’s a bonus too. Yup other than that Miss Courtney said it all. 💯 I always wanted to be in a relationship with a woman that has a healthy lifestyle. It’s GOLDEN and a blessing.
@@mattpassos5689 Food is the last thing comes in my mind. Not that I don’t like eating I do enjoy a good meal it’s just that I’m used to it been since I was young.
Congratulations on 550k subs! You do such a great job on this channel, and its been valuable information for all of us. Appreciate the interviews too, providing perspective from your friends on dating, etc. We need more like you!
In last few months, Courtney has convinced me to buy a small assortment of colognes (fragrances that I feel suit me and not just generic guy scent colognes), face moisturizer, eye lotion,an ice roller, new clothes, hair styling creams (also have Hamza to thank for this one) and now a tongue scraper. The ladies in my life have taken notice of the changes so far and like. Even more important than that, I've actually been feeling really good about myself for the first time in basically ever. That helps me be more confident and masculine, and a nice bonus is that the ladies also like. Courtney gives life changing advice.
@@hitmanmonaghan6633 Yes and no. Yes in that I've been on a few dates, no in that I gave up on dating and relationships after my ex ripped my social life to shreds and tried to destroy my career last year. The women I referred to have been fwbs and such
@@tehlaziness I just started using face moisturizer and cologne. Also wearing clothes that fit better. (Being a black teenager in the 90’s, loose baggy clothes were in.)
Courtney, I am a 67 year old man and I have been watching you for over a year. I am always amazed at what a wise "old" soul you are. Great topics and advice. Thank you
I agree on the tongue scraper, you gave me that Courtney, thank you. Also, discovered it triggers my gag reflects I never knew I had, fair warning to anyone trying this.
I'd add flossing in between meals. I use the mint plastic flossers. That way I know I've got nothing in my teeth and breath is good. Everything else on your list is a must.
I want to thank you for letting me know what a tongue scraper is because I researched it on line and found out how important it should be as to my mouth health including my over all health. It’s hard to believe that not to many people know about it and that they should learn about it for their mouth health including, their body as well. So again thank you for letting me know about it. 😊👍🏼🙏🏻
I know Courtney said this in the video and obviously it takes more than 10 minutes but don’t forget to exercise. You don’t have to be a bodybuilder but you need to be active. All you can do is do some cardio and lift weights. Being active is healthy for you and your mental health and confidence.
Speaking of tidying up, I still remember your video about apartments/ houses where you said about cleaning the hair out of the sink, and then drying all of the water drops from the sink. Honestly I couldn't believe that had to be a thing but it certainly makes sense and people need a reminder. Also from that video you had mentioned decorating the walls and you still have nothing much behind you 🙃🙃
I have a pretty good routine. My work week starts on Sunday, so Saturday night I trim my nose hairs and nails. For my daily routine I have a head to toe checklist. I ordered Tiege Hanley from your link a month ago. I feel like I'm more put together when I use it. I would also recommend using Dr Squatch soap (better for your skin) and a silicone body scrubber (less trapped bacteria)
Started doing all this stuff about a year ago. It has made a big difference to my life. I feel better about myself, and I'm now getting noticed by the ladies. And yet I am still fat. I've lost 2 thirds of the weight I needed to lose so far. But I now know that once I've lost that last 6 inches of extra waist line. I won't need to chase the ladies because they will be chasing me!
@The Golden Capstone yes thank you. I'll be honest, I'm still learning about nutrition and fitness. And I don't always get it right but I am learning from the mistakes. I've lost 7 stone thus far. And have 2 and a half to go to get to 15% bodyfat provided I don't lose anymore muscle mass. BTW I lost 2 stone by fluke. But I've lost the other 5 by diet and exercise at the gym
Short and sweet video. All are great suggestions. However, guys should make these suggestions their daily necessities. Tongue scraper,… game changer. Thank you, Courtney, for all the content you provide. 🙏
Some of these are definitely less popular if you work from home and do not need to dress, smell, or look a certain way. I still feel like doing these things helps me feel like I am going to work and getting in that zone. Always start the morning with exercise even if it is a short walk or some stretching.
Congrats on the 550k subscribers. Well deserved. We appreciate your hard-work you put in your videos. We can't wait until you reach 1 million. When did you channel start growing after you launched it?
Thank you so much 🥹 I appreciate it. I can’t even remember it feels like so long ago but I think it took me around 6 months to get 25k subscribers and then it just kept climbing gradually from there!
Tongue scraper! They're so good, my ex thought it was weird, wouldn't believe me how good it was. Also, I get the morning showers, but when you have to be at work at 6-7AM, evenings are just a lot better
I eat a keto diet so my sugar consumption is very low and therefore my breath never stinks. All you need to do is brush your tongue after brushing your teeth and you're good to go. No tongue scraper needed.
You are definitely a perfect spokes person for skin care Courtney, your complexion is amazing. I agree, everyone should shower in the morning for the reasons you stated. It perks you up MORE than coffee ever could. Shower in the morning everyday, start the day completely clean and fresh. And then again if you've got a date, gotten dirty or sweaty. On cologne; Macy's sells a men's cologne (why is there a g in that word?) sampler for a little over $20 . You get a shaving kit with 20 different samples. Hack, go with the one that gets the results you want, not the one that YOU like best.
We rightfully teach that appearances aren't everything in a person's character, but they can still take you quite the distance when it comes to your interactions with people. Appearances are what get you in the door, while character determines if people like keeping you around. So maximize both; look your best, be your best, and you're more likely to get the best life has to offer.
For skin care I used those hand shower gloves for my face. Makes things super easy... Along with pumice stones to exfoliate. And not that expensive. All the machines can brake but the gloves and stones work every time...
This girl from my gym that I had lunch with awhile back told me I had good skin. I told her that I use a face wash and moisturize. It does help maintaining your skin and makes you look youthful too.
I believe in taking care of myself, and a balanced diet and a rigorous exercise routine. In the morning, if my face is a little puffy, I'll put on an ice pack while doing my stomach crunches. I can do a thousand now. After I remove the ice pack, I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower, I use a water activated gel cleanser. Then a honey almond body scrub. And on the face, an exfoliating gel scrub. Then apply an herb mint facial mask, which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an aftershave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion by Tiége Hanley.
Hi Courtney! Interesting video, will keep these in mind. However the tounge scraper was totally new for me, never heard of that one... I'll see about that!
Skincare , i use Loreal Anti fatigue moisturiser , i use Meloderm UV sunblock that costs me 60 euro from a laser clinic, and scent i use Versace Eros all the time even if courtney recommended it as an entry level aftershave , a lot of the time i work on building sites in the city and i go for drinks after work where theres attractive women so its worth putting in the effort
I have talked to a lot of people about using a tongue scraper, and like I've mentioned before I've gifted some last Christmas. If anyone here is able to do a deep squat, try to build up to 3 maybe 5 minutes of a hold every single day, using your abductors t-band and glute medius muscles to really give your hips a good stretch in the morning. I do 3-5 mins daily, esp when I'm out grounding barefoot&shirtless at sunrise, in between clubbell medleys
Courtney: I'd love to start a skin-care routine, but I've made it a practice to not put synthetic substances on my skin, and this has worked out well for me. Can you recommend natural skincare products?
There are many organic products. Check out organic skincare brands by asking for recommendations in big department stores or researching skincare brands online.
I don’t have a tongue scraper, but I brush my tongue every time I brush my teeth! Flossing is easy too! I use the floss pick everyday when I drive home from work!
Kudos, I like the cold showers after a morning workout, it is very invigorating. If I use hair product it is usually applied after a morning shower, and rinsed out during the evening shower.
You sweat when you sleep and your hair gets messed up, so showering in the morning is better. Also, the tongue is a repository for bacteria and I can’t believe I didn’t scrape it until I watched these videos. The tongue is the main cause of halitosis (bad breath).
I always cold rinse and I only shower at night. I get my Boost of energy and reduction of stress when I go outside shirtless and shoeless to watch the sunrise
I brush my tongue along with my teeth with a soft toothbrush, toothpaste, and hydrogen peroxide. No scraping is needed. My face routine involves a wash with baby oil. This emulsifies skin oils and grease, opens pores, and softens the skin. A soft soap removes the excess baby oil and dirt leaving my face smooth and supple. Rinse with warm water and pat dry. I started the process 40+ yrs ago when I still had acne and almost immediately, the acne cleared up.
I disagree with morning show. I dont have time in the morning to to shower so night showers are more effective. Also morning showers for myself cause me more anxiety and stress for some reason.
I don't want to and I will never care about how people perceive me. Someone caring about how much hair is in my nether regions is a bit too far. Yes, take care of yourself. But be confident in yourself. Look for people that care more about your values than how you look at first glance. You will attract the right person for you.
Nothing against you or your sponsor, who I am confident provide a good product, but some of us "older" guys just don't wat to buy into the "subscription" model. I'm not buying anything at one price knowing that the vendor will want to charge me periodically at some higher price. Not me.
I personally preferring showering before bed, but I can understand the rationale for showering in the morning because it helps with alertness. As for tongue scrapers, you could at the very least brush your tongue with a toothbrush and it does make a big difference with bad breath. Your tongue is the largest source of bacteria in your mouth.
Pro tip: get yourself an oral probiotic. Morning breath is usually caused by bad bacteria in your oral microbiome. Also, avoid toothpaste with fluoride that kills off friendly bacteria in your mouth to keep it healthy. I no longer have sewer breath in the morning
THANK YOU COURTNEY ! YOU ARE THE LIGHT IN THE DARKNESS !! Sorry about the caps but you really are refreshing change to see and hear an honest , straightforward, female opinion without the usual " i won't even give you time of day unless a man is 6'5" dark and handsome , earns 7 figures , and pays for ALL " that seem to be the norm in these "me too " media influencer days On a positive note you got it going on more than Stacy's mom ever had ! Don't mean to be sexist , apologies if that upsets you , just a bit of British humour .
Tongue Scraper: I don't know, maybe I need to try it, but I don't get it. For example, if my arm was really dirty I wouldn't just scrape it with something and then rinse it. Instead I would use soap and maybe a wash cloth to clean it. Same with my tongue. Rather than just scrape it, I brush it with a toothbrush that has toothpaste on it. I would think that would get it cleaner and fresher than just scraping it. I'm going to to give the tongue scraper a go though!
while this didn't happen to me, i saw on comments elsewhere, this guy had a negative bad experience from approaching a woman in a bar, and based on his description, it didn't sound like harassment to me, i wonder if this woman did this for ego boost, pride boost: "When I was 23, I was in a bar and saw a girl I thought looked pretty good sitting down. I watched for a moment to see if she was with anyone and she didn't appear to be, so I walked over and asked her "hey, what're you drinking?" She looked at me, scrunched up her face then stood up and walked away. I shrugged it off and 45 seconds later two bouncers grabbed me and dragged me out. I asked them what the fuck, they said a girl complained I harassed her. I told the dudes I asked her what she was drinking and she just walked away from me, and the dudes blew me off and said their policy was if they receive a complaint the dude has to go no questions asked. I haven't cold approached ever since, learned my fucking lesson I guess."
Courtney finishes her showers with cold water. Based on her recent videos, I believe she's a Jocko Willink/Joey Swole hybrid who masquerades as a wingwoman. Congrats on your channel growth!
hey Courtney ,iv been watching a crap load of your vids, not going to lie ive been out on the local dating seen here in Bozeman Mt, and your advice has been working almost too well. problem is the pool of women in my age bracket seems to be very sparse of choices. I'm doing a lot of swiping left. im in my 40s but most of the women who i seem to be interested in me are significantly younger then me. i dont like being rude by not taking up there offer. do you have any advice for me to attract women closer to my age. thank you.😀
Is there anything wrong with haveing 7 of the exact same outfits in your closet? One for every day ofnthe week. I have found one shirt, one pair of pants that fit perfect and look sharp but not overbearing. Almost nonndescript, so you dont notice its the same shirt and pants. I bought 7 of these so i put on a fresh set everyday. Einstine did it, because its a waste of time thinking about what to where, when you can spend that mental bandwidth on productivity.
In the interests of self care and to promote healthier lifestyle choices for myself now that I'm single, each morning when I get up, I look myself in the mirror, and say the three little words I always used to say to my GF, "You're too fat" ... - Moscow, Russia
Instead of using a tongue scraper, I use my electric toothbrush and brush the back of my tongue. It gets rid of anything stuck back there and freshens my breath.
