Greetings Wizards! 🧙♂ Are there any other tips and tricks I left out? Share yours in the comments 👇 *FAQs* Q: Isn’t Become Ethereal in the base game of Skyrim? 🧙♂️: Indeed it is! My mistake. -- Q: Can’t you use regeneration potions and Guardian Circle to heal yourself without ending the effect of Become Ethereal? 🧙♂️: These didn’t even cross my mind, and indeed you can! As long as they’re used before shouting Become Ethereal, you can heal yourself while retaining the invulnerable effect.
thank you for still uploading skyrim videos, i recently got back into it after years and my knowledge is definitely rusty, there's a new kajit follower mod in town who talked me back into the frozen tundra.
The downside of popularity lists is they will always end up listing the easiest things to unlock, not necessarily the most powerful. I realized this when you had the poll asking if dragonborn force or dragonborn frost was better. Anyone that has USED both endgame more than 10 times could tell you dragonborn frost is better, but few people have actually unlocked it to know so. You have to first unlock the frost shout, which doesn't come from the main quests. Then, you have to get the black book to change it into dragonborn frost. Therefore, most people have no clue.
Agreed. And that is why availability is a major factor that makes or breaks certain gameplay choices in videogames. People make memes about how in RPGs you get at the end of the game the ultra OP weapon that can oneshot almost anything, and for a good reason. By the point you can use it at your leisure, there's not much point besides extending your fun by yourself. But it is what it is.
It's a fair thing to consider, though. ease, convenience, and/or versatility will almost always eventually outweigh power, so why bother going out of your way if what you've got does the job and you get to just upgrade it.
Sometime stuff just doesnt come up, translate well for some/most people or people dont see it. Like Dragonborn Frost would only be good if you ever use it assuming you dont blitz people down.
As my character hit level 70 I decided to just go ahead and gave him 0% shout cooldown 300 damage attacks stealing souls and making anything your puppet along with whatever other thing I have summoned I just love it real fun
I recently watched your video for what the best Skyrim houses to live in are and I was not only impressed with your detailed take on each house, but with your style of editing and humor you add in. I actually have you in the background as I grind out skills or long quests in the game now. You’re a Genuinely good RU-vidr, thank you.
@@I-A-P-W-T-M-OTrue, but it's also the only word that CAN be missed. Well, there's technically a second missable word of Storm Call in High Gate, but that's due to a bug, so I don't count it.
In terms of usefulness I'd add Ice form, that can let you pickpocket anything with 100% success! It's extremely good when you try to cheese your leveling up with teachers.
If I had to choose, I'd say my favorite dragon shout would have to be Dragon Aspect. As a fan of ATLA, the shout has serious Avatar State vibes, and the bonuses you get are great too.
A wonderful video with great tips. I can't wait for your armor ranking and the final episode of your boss ranking. I'm also glad you used some Welsh at 6:05 as I suggested. It was a perfect use of the language at the perfect time. Thank you and I'm excited to see what you will make in 2024!
I feel called out on the Whirlwind Spring part. I have never been so offended by something I completely agree with. All jokes aside, I agree that it should be on this list, and not just for overencumbered travel.
Agree except for the fact that shout forced me into a death loop due to auto save. Left the house in Markarth and used Whirlwind Sprint and had to reload a much older save. Was not a fun experience.
Watching not just the Shouts, but your game play techniques too, I realize I have effectively a WHOLE NEW SKYRIM to play !! TANK YOU! (sic i've been playing as tank or stealth archer. a full-game as Werewolf Wizard ?!?! - That's a new game with a familiar and cherished World = Awesome !...)
Thank you for making the part 2 I wanted, it's unfortunate Marked for Death was patched. Slow time or Elemental Fury were my most favorite shouts for general use before I finished the vid, hello Become Ethereal techs. Love the tips! Ads showed up at the perfect time you shouted Unrelenting Force to end on a high note for Bonus Shouts
Watching a wizard's new video be like "hmm, maybe I should go back to skyrim and play more 200 hours of it just for fun" Happened in the past and probably will again, I guess it's coz it's nostalgic, but you put so much passion on this videos, that it reminds me of why I love Skyrim so much just like you do
@@randyrandom3358 yeah. It's really good! It's even possible to install mod's and stuff. I didn't finish it yet, but I'm already thinking in a new playthrough with mod's on this time.
My favorites are Clear Skies and Cyclone. Clear Skies for those awesome Northern lights. And Cyclone for getting rid of stuff I don't need. It is more chaotic then Unrelenting Force, give it a try ;)
I'd swap Marked for Death with Fire Breath, you can buff it's damage by mediating with Paarthurnax and have it spawn Fire Wyrms to fight for you. It's damage plus it's ability to stagger well worth it even into the late game. It can be great for muscling through a tough fight and can insta kill weaker enemies.
I actually, personally, like Soul Tear a lot. If it is the last attack you use on an enemy, you can soul trap almost anything. And that 300 points of Health damage is nothing to scoff at
I've been playing since 2013 and only found out about stormcall two days ago lmao, useful for dealing with those levelled zombies in the Anniversary edition
I have another disadvantage for the dragon aspect. I would call it more a bug than a disadvantage and it only happens when fighting the ebony warrior as far as I have seen. Whenever the ancient dragonborn spawns EB will stop fighting you and fight AD instead which results in his health being instantly fully regend. It doesnt matter if he is half health or two points from his death, it will fully heal instantly. I have tried it many times and it is not his vigourious potions that does it because his health only heals to 100% instantly when AB spawns.
These videos are so professionally done and hilarious at the same time😎🤣 Congrats on another masterful video master wizard 🧙♂️ ❤ PS: I love the thumbnails; do you draw them yourself?
Yeah but on console there’s no hot keys for shouts so switching between them for every shout is really annoying and makes the battle a lot less interesting
me with Dragon aspect + elem fury + Secret of strenght + orcs' power berserk + dual build perks + necromage = enemy will not able to react on that even a legendary or karstag cant last for atleast 10 sec haha Kindda OP
As a mage player I personally hate dragon rend I really prefer them in the air than on the ground because while they are up there a single lesser ward can protect me from everything but on legendary difficulty my squishy mage gets one shot(one bite) with their melee attacks if my dragon hide isn't ready beforehand (I'm not saying it's impossible to deal with especially with impact perk etc.)
The only one I ever use is Whirlwind Sprint, and even that is pretty rare. Their cooldown makes shouts too annoying to even bother with most of the time. They should just use mana like other magic and let your mana store and mana regen impose a cooldown organically. Being dragonborn doesn't provide much to gameplay, in my experience, outside of the few quests where it's scripted to be required. I'd rather have the option to not be dragonborn so I wouldn't have to have the visual and audible noise of absorbing dragon souls and dragon walls.
Yeah, let's lock shouts, which are required to progress the main quest and Dragonborn, behind magic builds. Great idea. Shouts were meant for all classes and builds, restricting them via magicka costs is an objectively bad idea.
You should try doing the amulet of talos stacking to reduce the cooldown to 0. I don't know much about the dragon aspect shout but I assume it's one day use only, so unfortunately reducing shout cooldowns using dupe glitches won't work. And it only uses one accessory aside from the armor, pretty good
Another little thing about bend will is if you bend will someone, sometimes you can get inheritance from them if they die. It's happened a few times with me and bandits
It's the 2nd...and what's more, in the 24/3/21 video (All 27 Shouts ranked) the TopTen was faaar different...😶🤔 Dragon Aspect was 7TH, here it's 2ND Marked For Death 3RD, not 9TH... ...and Dragonrend the reverse Become Ethereal was 2nd, now 4th Whirlwind Sprint even 12TH, instead of 8th *11th Ice Form Summon Durnehviir 10th (7th Slow Time 5th (4th, the 5th was Aura Whisper Soul Tear 8th (10th ...only Unrelenting Force and Bend Will were 1st and 6th
Or just aim better so you don't shoot your loot away, and in enclosed areas, this isn't much of an issue anyway. This one downside is not enough to take away from how useful and versatile it is across any playthrough.
I use Marked for Death all of the time, alongside Aura Whisper and the fire shout 😂 I guess I'm misusing my shouts for being this far away from this ranking !
@@chhite7590shorter, but varied too... Dragon Aspect was 7TH Dragonrend 9TH Become Ethereal 2nd Slow Time 4th Summon Durnehviir 10th Whirlwind Sprint even 12TH...11th Ice Form Marked For Death 3RD Soul Tear 8th The 5th was Aura Whisper Only Unrelenting Force and Bend Will were 1st and 6th like here 🙄
unrelenting force is not good. its far from the best as well. soul tear is much more effective. hell even clear sky is better and thats one of the worst shouts in the game.
