Being a medic is very stressful. A medic trying to keep his team alive is like an engineer trying to keep his sentry alive. "DONT DIE ON ME NOW, MEAT SHIELD!"

I’ve played about 500 hours as Medic and I’m still at the stage of thinking, “Wow, this guy looks cool.”

One thing I love is,while Scout lines are mostly arrogant and annoying tone, the "thanks Doc" line sound absolutely sincere

The moment I realized I was a medic main was when I played him on badwater offense. There were two heavies on the cart and I was making sure both were at 450 to keep the frontlines healthy. Anyways twice that match I saved both heavies with an Uber from an enemy Uber, and after the match was over one of the heavies went in vc and said “medic you’re my hero”. Those words made me a medic main, as I realized that helping my team with heals is way more satisfying than killing the enemy.

Just realised I might've helped a person become a medic main. He had chat but not a cosmetic in sight. He was and still is one of the most fun medics I played with. Thanked him at the end of the round cause I was playing better than I would've ever normally (I suck at the game) and his all caps thanks was awesome. Next round I didn't dare changing my cosmetics (not that I have many) or class so the now enemy medic could recognise me (2fort match). We found each other in a few friendly parties and we never killed each other. I hope he becomes a great medic one day

A lot of people are talking about how good it feels to be thanked but there’s nothing quite like being surprised to see a sniper in the killcam NOT looking at the sky and realizing just how long it has been since the last time a human player was able to click on your head

Something I have noticed is that medic mains normally tend to heal players who are nice to them more often and go out of their way to save those players, so that's why I'm always nice to medics . Plus it feels good to make someone's day. Medic is a stressful class to play, I get it.

To all the Medic Mains out there, thank you for being there where we needed you the most. The game wouldn’t be the same without you guys.

As an Engie Main, i actually like when i help a medic with either my dispenser or teleporter, since it makes me feel useful to the team, helping the most important class to do his job better.

As a medic main on stage 8, please, make sure you thank your medics and dont stress them out. Im looking at you scunts and heavy mains. Medic is just sacrificing your fun for others. They do so much to keep your team alive. There is still that voice inside me telling me that ive forgotten who i am. This video is very accurate.

I like that being a medic main is sort of a stress test or a stress class. It's an endurance trial that challenges your patience and your perseverance more than your score or your K/D ratio, testing how much can you handle being on your team's shadow and helping them in whatever way you can

I will forever remember the time someone wrote "med is pretty much carrying our team" midway through a mvm campaign. I had been playing for only a couple of months. Felt good.

I love the fact that 10 stages of every other class is just straight upward progress but 10 stages of medic is a fucking rollercoaster ride when even when you've achieved godhood you can become a gibus again

Maining Medic is like being a parent: You are barely if ever appreciated, you are rarely thanked, and no one ever understands how crucial your role is until they see someone without you, or a shitty or toxic version of you.

As a medic main who is currently at stage 5 (help me please) seeing this really warmed my heart to be honest. I've always mained support characters in team games. Lifeline in Apex, Lucio in Overwatch, always ran support killstreaks in COD and its genuinely taxing on your mental state when you're constantly barraged with hate for having a bad game or something happening out of your control. So much love to my fellow support mains out there, even if you are few and far between

Dude I remember going through stage 4 as medic - It was on one round where this guy was genuinely being friendly so I decided to kinda pocket him (since he was pretty good anyway). Then, I got auto balanced and about 2 minutes after the auto balance he said in chat 'I miss (my username)'. It made me so happy and I just couldn't describe the feeling. I just remember having a huge smile plastered onto my face lol. To whoever that was, thank you so much.

Every class is just an upward spiral, whereas the progression of a medic main is just an unexplainable roller coaster of emotions.

As a new medic main I gotta say, as infuriating as it can be playing medic. The moments you actually come on clutch for the team and end up winning the game because of it is like no other! The most memorable moment actually happened here just recently. I was the only medic on my team and we were on the losing team on DustBowl. On the last 2 control points. I had the Kritz equipped and was just trying to keep my team healed. Then this one soldier main came in and asked me to follow him. I decided to do so and with the combination of my kritz and his god tier Soldier skills we ended up both of us pushing the entire enemy team back and literally camped the enemy spawn MULTIPLE TIMES. Towards the last few minutes it got pretty hectic and the enemy team nearly pushed to the last control point. Me and this cracked soldier did one last push and once again left the enemy team in shambles with my crit Uber on his rocket launcher. The amount of pure satisfaction I got from clutching that with the soldier and him thanking me is easily my most favorite moment as medic and encourages me to keep playing and improving as medic!

When I was a noob med, I healed a fancy-hat-wearing expert soldier, and that guy TURNED AROUND and said “thanks!”. I still remember the moment he put up his thumb, making me finally feel like : “I’m helpful for the team!”

This got me really emotional and i think that people should respect medics very much

stage 4 really is the most important for a medic. i started my journey as a medic main. but overtime i began playing pretty much every other class minus spy and engie i decided to hop back on medic for the first time in a while and my first game a teammate had complimented me for being so attentive which really inspired me to want to keep playing, just knowing someone was out there appreciating me sweating my ass off to keep them alive i havent touched another class besides medic in days now

I remember my first big “actually appreciated by team” moment as medic, the enemy had a massive push coming up, a heavy comes up to me and is like “hey med, get ready to Uber me to stop their push” I follow him and we circle around back, I pop Kritz and we completely lay waste to almost their entire team, stopping their push and allowing us to hold out long enough to win the match, the entire chat on my team lights up with “good medic!” And “nice push” and the one that I still remember to this day “medic mvp” and to this day, I always smile when I play medic because of that.

I don't often play medic, but when I do, I like giving kritz/uber to someone random, like a scout or engie. "You get to be a god for the next 8 seconds. I don't care what happens. Have fun, go nuts!" Their panic for like a second then them tearing off toward he enemy like the Monty Python rabbit is hilarious.

That stage 8 vid was perfect. The "Please, they need you" was so genuine and well acted. Emotional. Amazing.

I must have skipped over stage 1, the only things I did wrong were not checking for spies and using my needlegun to try and heal people. I later learned that the crossbow was in fact, not the Medics default primary and I had killed several invisible spies while nearly getting kicked in the process.

I LOVE playing Medic, but I'm also a new player and not super good at playing the game. Anyway, during a match, I didnt heal this guy fast enough and he died and yelled at me over VC, but then he IMMEDIATELY said "I'm sorry Medic, I didnt mean to yell at you, you're doing alright." It makes me really happy when people thank me but that moment in particular really stood out to me. To that demo who told me that, thank you ❤

As a main medic that have some years in the game, I can say once you learn from your mistakes and begin to control and even master the class, you will be really helpful and appreciated en your team, It's been a long time since my teammates complained about me and in general I always play quietly with others, looking for a way to be 100% useful to my entire team. The main medic experience is something awesome and I think more people should try it, although is a little hard, after all you will enjoy every single game.

The Heavy is a damage sponge, Soldier and Demo are our damage dealers, Scouts are our flankers, Snipers pick out priority targets and Engies lock the area down with a gun and brings the other classes forward quick, but you’re the reason they stay alive long enough to do their jobs in the first place. I remember one time, me and this heavy were always together, every time I reach him and start healing him he would go "let's GOOOOOOOOOO!" and then he'd start going crazy

I'm a growing Engineer main, but two of my medic plays felt so good I won't easily forget them. Once, a Scout called for a medic on VC, so I picked Medic and healed him as we dashed behind enemy lines and capped their undefended point, winning the game. Another time on Badwater, I picked medic because there was no other medic. I managed to help my team stop the payload while it was just yards away from the final point and keep it untouched until it regressed back up the hill, all while my team held up a human shield around me. It was so awesome!

I remember my "stage 4" moment, I was playing payload and crossbow-ed into the medi-gun healed this solider on my team and mans legit sung a short made up song about medic mains and how we should appreciate them; and I kid you not but I was legit about to quit playing medic because of how annoying it gets sometimes before that moment
