I felt the same regarding ACFTL. I love Evajacks so much that it was hard to NOT give it 5 stars🌟..but I guess what Stephanie was trying to tell us is that there is NO TRUE ENDING for true love because it is continuous. Evajacks don’t have a last page…they just keep on creating memories. That’s my take on it!🥰
12 books in a month!! that’s like a book every 2.5 days!! that’s great haley. I’d love to see a video on how/if reading has changed your life? Do you find yourself sleeping more? on your phone less? communicating better? just any changes it’s made in your life
I literally felt the same way about ACFTL - I mean I LOVE Eva/Jacks so much and they will always be one of my fav couples but there were so many unanswered questions and plot lines left unresolved!! I literally wrote down 11 questions that are important to the plot and we should’ve had answers to in the third book but we didn’t, or we did get a hinted-at answers which was honestly disappointing 😫 I felt like Stephanie sacrificed answering all the questions and wrapping up everything for setting up future books, and I mean ok set up future books but don’t leave us with so many questions and not many Eva/Jacks scenes, I was more satisfied when I read Waterstones and B&N bonus epilogues because we got more Eva/Jacks but still I need a novella 😢 Excited to read more books in this world though, definitely need a Lala and Castor book!! Edit: gave it 4 ⭐️ btw
@@zaraziarehman Yeah like I still had hope we would get answers in the second half but then one thing led to another and we were at the end and the epilogue and we still didn’t get answers or enough Eva/Jacks
I love these kind of vidios! I I find it so fun to see what you rated these books. Because i genuinely trust your reading recommendations and buy the good books right after!
A Halloween treat to see Haley has posted!🤩 your channel has inspired me to read more too and this month I read 7 books😆 and a lot of them are your recommendations❤❤
I highly HIGHLY recommend stormweaver book 1, don’t be discouraged by the cover lol… The second book came out today and it seems really up your sci-fi fantasy alley ;-) I loved it!
Totally agree. Bryce O’Connor is one of my favourite authors and I absolutely devoured Iron Prince. So excited to finish work today so I can start the second book (which I preordered the moment I finished the first book of course). I also highly recommend Child of the Daystar, it’s my favourite book of all time
i have to say that I've been waiting for a long time for a curse for true love to come out and to hear you're thoughts on it, I'm currently waiting for my copy to arrive and i really hope it's a 5 star for me because some people were a little disappointed.. great video as always 💕💌
I finished reading A curse for True Love yesterday and I felt exactly the same as you mention here, in my opinion plotwise was disappointed and kind of predictable but at the same time there were too many things unsolved. I felt sad when I finished it because I had so much expectations with this read. Anyways, I really love your videos!! sending love from Barcelona!
Best Halloween ever cause Haley posted!! 😊❤️ I'll rec it again lol until hopefully one day you see it: the school for Good and evil. It's an amazing fantasy series, very unique, very fun, the characters are amazing. It centers around two girls who are complete opposites but are best friends and are sent to this magical school for Good and evil.
The SECOND "CROWN OF MIDNIGHT BY SARAH J. MAAS" I was stunned because I just became a book girly and Absolutely love her 'A court of...' serie. Also her book vlogs just give me the boost and inspiration I need to choose books I ABSOLUTELY love. In tiny-ish, Haley, After picking up on books I like reading and watching your vids
I love watching monthly wrap up's (especially yours Haley!) so I can't wait to sit down and watch this. and reading 12 books in one month is seriously impressive! 💌
If you loved both Gabrielle Zevin’s books, I highly recommend reading her book Elsewhere!! I read it when I was younger and it was my favorite book for years.

I agree with everything you said about ACFTL, Ballad was just too good and I felt unsatisfied with ACFTL because of it 😞😞😞 when I first finished it, I was left feeling sad because I wanted MORE, and the plot sometimes felt so messy. But alas I love the series hence idc it's still a good book for me
@@audreyatkins1192 righttt, have you read the three bonus chapters? They all seem to link to another book so there's that (but idk if evajacks are gonna be apart of it, might be possible)
I’m so glad she felt the same as me with A Curse For True Love!! It’s my favorite series, but the last book just felt slow at the beginning, then went too fast at the end
Hey! I love watching your videos. As a literature student, I read a lot of classics, but unfortunately because of that, I usually don't read new books or books outside of school work because I can't bring myself to read for school and then for myself as well. This led me to a massive reading crisis where I didn't read anything for over a year just because I wanted to. I read a lot of books, but only for school. But thanks to your videos and your passion for books and reading, I've realized how much I love reading, and while it's still not perfect, I'm trying to navigate much better between reading for school and reading on my own. And after a long time, I'm enjoying it again. Thank you. ♥
I read The Storied Life of AJ Fikry two years ago after just randomly finding it on my shelf, and I LOVED it (aka I read it in two days and cried 🙃) I’m glad you enjoyed it too!
haley, you’ve sparked a joy that i have for reading books. i recently went through a book slump and you got me out of that (thank goodness 😅) you’re so amazing at what you do. thank you for all of your book videos. it might be too much to ask, but if at all possible will you answer one question. how do you set up notion the way you have it for books. i saw it in a previous video and can’t figure out how you set that up. have a blessed day!
Read "Tom Lake" and "Pineapple Street" recently as well and loved them both! Agreed - while not super fast-paced, these were both SUPER engaging and perfectly enjoyable. Also read "Piranesi" which is high fantasy/literary fiction/mystery mash up that was absolutely wild and so much fun... couldn't read it fast enough at the end! Took a big risk with that one and really enjoyed it.
Just signed up for my Book Of The Month subscription!!! Would love to hear a little blurb about your thoughts on the books you've gotten so far if possible!!
Hiii! Okay so if you like the vibes of the "Once Upon a Broken Heart" triology you should definitely read the "Six Crimson Cranes" duology. In my opinion the vibes are quite the same, at least for me while I was reading them they reminded me of each other.
"Fire alarm for first day of heater on due to Texas cold front" I RELATE!! Also living in the great state and so excited it's finally cold here!!! Thank you Haley for another amazing video!!
I listened to A.J. Fickry on audio this past summer. I still think about it more than I thought I would. I hope more people give it a try. The audio book was excellent. I'm a new subscriber and have really enjoyed your videos and book recommendations. Thank you!
Hey Haley I love your videos and your dog so cute omg n that video I like the books you read in October and I loved the idea of you asking strangers about their favorite books and then reading them by the way I’m 11 so yeah I hope you read this comment
I loooooved "My Year of Rest", but I can genuinely see how it's not for everyone, but I relate to the character SO MUCH (except rich/rich dead parents) and it's a satire, so its not everyone's cup of tea
I saw your reaction to The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry, and HAD to pick it up. I was sobbing by the end of it. It was such a sweet slice of life book, I read it in a day. My main gripe about the movie is that I felt Amy was not QuiRkY enough haha but otherwise I agree that you should read the book then watch the movie to feel the full effect!
I was just going to mentioned that The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry is inspired by/retelling of a classic novel, but most people won't recognize that if they're not aware of the original work. @@dianalee9228
I read two of those last month too! Tom Lake, amazing. And The Very Secret Society of Irregular Witches which I could not remember the title to but is super cute.
I love Renee Carlino, and Swear on This Life is one of my favorite romances! Also, I rec The Butterfly Project by Emma Scott for an emotional, sweet romance (w/ a happy ending), that's got that cozy holiday NYC feeling. It's one of my top faves!
