since its not an older game in the series, people are gonna hate on it. its a great game! i enjoyed colour splash, but everyone else who didnt even play it hate it because they’re favourite youtuber hates it! its just stupid
Sophisticated Lad I like CS too, but It's not an RPG, niether is SS or OK, and Paper Mario is an RPG series, SS is not a good game anyways, and the man behind the new paper mario is giving no real reason to make the games good paper mario games again.
I'm sorry your opinion dosen't match with mine, but when an indie developer can make a better paper mario game (that isn't even a paper mario game) then the people behind paper mario, that's really bad, and the people are PURPOUSFULLY ignoring the fans and their requests for an RPG, that PAPER MARIO IS SUPPOSED TO BE, how would you feel if you were a Legend of Zelda fan and it got turned from an action puzzler, to a rythem game, even Super Paper Mario is good as an RPG, the person behind it all is adhering to Miyamoto's words that he, himself has said he disagrees with and would like story in mario games now, and don't say paper mario isn't a mario game, because it is, what PM64, TTYD, and SPM had is story, SS had none, CS barely had one, and OK actually does half decently, and the "We're not allowed to even alter enemys much" thing, is UTTER CRAP, creativity is the main thing in Paper Mario, before you had NPCs looking all different, so you could form a bond, now it's, see that toad, well he's the same guy as the 9270th toad in that town, what, you can't tell that it's the same guy, T O O B A D!
My favorite moment is actually a little detail, if you go back to Shogun studios AFTER Bobby's death to take photographs, the pictures will show Bobby's ghost. I love it because it shows even if your friends are not standing next to you, they are still there to cheer you on.

The introduction of Scissor'ss cutout soldiers was terrifying. You're so used to seeing pretty origami enemies, and to then see these lanky, flat, expressionless creatures... gave me so many goosebumps.
My favorite part(s) was/were basically Bowser's castle to when Princess Peach's castle turns into an origami castle. All of the bowser's castle stuff, the airship battle, the crater, all that stuff I loved because they made it really feel like the endgame

One of my favorite moments in this game is (Spoilers) The 2nd phase in the final battle against Olly. Olly straight up takes himself,Olivia,Mario and Bowser into an Origami Dimension where Origami is giving ultimate power. Because of that Olivia then turns Bowser into Origami to make his power equal to Ollys but even with that power he cannot beat Olly alone so Mario has to help him by using the 1000 fold arms to slam the ground giving Bowsers attacks more power or pushing Olly closer to the edge (I don't really know how this helps Bowser the point is it does help Bowser) We saw Mario and Bowser work together before but we never saw them both work together in a single battle except for in Mario and Luigi: Bowsers inside story. Plus this is the only time your partner helps you fight a boss.
I really love this game, even though it has some obvious flaws. But I had so much fun playing it I don't even let its flaws stop me from calling it one of my favorite Mario games - I seriously had that much fun with it! It's not perfect, but I doubt any game can really be called perfect with everything that goes into it - i.e. music, story, etc.
I've completed the game and I'm only a kid, and my favorite moment is definitely the boss fight........ Even though I got like 5 game overs. But when I played the boss fight a second time, somehow I managed to remember the how to complete the rings. Which was strange, but I loved the boss fight, it was the best part of the whole game for me!😁
those old games are famous for their moments and this game has a lot I still dont get why wouldnt you play a game that has the same charm but with new battle system. This game is amazing
A amazing thing about the game is that the bosses can be much more creative. In the first 2, there was only, oh, they got 1 special move, or, they have multiple sections. The combat system didn't have much room for creative battles while with the ring system, there is much you can do. (Also the switch is more powerful but that's not the point.)
This game is a 7.5/10 for me. I got mad a lot of times and I had to use guides so many times and I kept saying "the ring system is too complicated. How do the devs expect us to find this?" But it was pretty fun, better then color splash and paper jam, but not super paper mario (in obsessed with the story in spm)
@@raptorrrr I mean is it tho. I has paper people and some little paper gimmicks but it's still not a paper Mario game.. It's way more of a Mario and Luigi rpg game.
What makes the final battle even better is that there’s around 16 QTE’S which means to experience them all your gonna have to either replay the final phase of the boss multiple times or your gonna have to die constantly on it so you get more time and waste it out to see them. It’s so good
@@TherionX2. QTEs are quick-time events where the game suddenly tells you to do the command shown on screen. Doing them usually ends up benefitting you, whereas not doing them hurts you, or may even give you a game over.
I just defeated the turtle guy and the change of gameplay during boss fights isn’t my cup of tea since I’ve become accustomed to the turn table combat when fighting regular enemies which I enjoy fondly and the color pencil boss is a huge difficulty spike for me and I’m stuck
I really enjoy this video, I have a feeling I'm not going to agree with the Worst Moments because I don't really think Origami King has worst moments, OK maybe there are some but there are moments I like in this game more than dislike
The earth Kingdom why? The third phase of the final boss was incredible! And the ending was perfect! I am curious how you would have ended the game though!
@@OrangeStaringCat Olly was pretty underwhelming. The final boss was too easy. Also, the ice Vellumental form Olly occasionally takes is terrible. The ending was good though. Not sure why they hated it.
@@SuperMario.1 as a Hollow Knight player, I agree the boss was way too easy, but honestly what do you expect from mario game bosses. That’s a standard, so I don’t even take difficulty in consideration anymore
Personally my favorite part is when mario is dancing with all the faceless toads before you fight the hole punch. I would totally go back and watch it again if I could.
Bobby's death is my worst memorie, he is way too cute. But I guess nintendo had to do it. I think you're right about that, I think it was a good idea to make bobby the first mario character to die. I'm forgetting about the bucket from paper mario colour splash. (I forgot his name.)
My favorite part was the Temple of Shrooms. My least favorite part was the Ice Vellumental Mountain or whatever. Way too much attack damage. Actually, now that I think about it, I might dislike Bowser's Castle more, because of how creepy it was.
The part where paper mario get sliced in half by the scissors looks like it was from persona 5. Also to be fair, a possible new paper mario game in the future years could be based on cartoons and anime since there paper related.

The game is a great game you cant compare the first 3 paper mario games to the mosy recent 3 completely different and I love paper mario Origami king excited to play Ttyd from my friend

Tbh, I didn’t really like this game. The music and writing are great, but I think color splash does both of those better, and the lack of story made it kind of boring for me. There wasn’t really anything driving me forward, but ngl, there are some pretty epic moments that occur throughout the game. Good job Nin10doland 👍
