The 1975 - Me & You Together Song (Official Video) Directed by bedroom The new album from The 1975 ‘Notes On A Conditional Form’ is Out Now - The1975.lnk.to... Follow / the1975 / the1975 / the1975 the1975.com/ #The1975
It was somewhat similar to this in the mid to late 90s. I remember going to these types of parties when I was a teenager. They’d play the Romeo & Juliet soundtrack and you’d see random couples making out while others sat around chatting, playing ouija board, drinking, playing Sega genesis, etc. Good times.
That’s the signature style of Bedroom Projects. All of their other videos are exactly like this! It’s Beabadoobee’s bf and best friend and if you look at her music videos they look exactly like this it’s pretty cool!! ☺️
EmpatheticSunshine Tarot it’s not that it relates to a specific one, more of the time the movies came out and she was a very famous female teen star at the time 🤷🏽♀️ just has the 2000’s nostalgic feel
This song makes me feel a certain way I don’t know how to describe. Sad yet happy, nostalgic, scared of how fast everything is going, what if I’m not with the right person. A lot of feelings in this song for me personally
From People to Frail State Of Mind. And then for this. From this to Birthday Party. And from Birthday Party to If You're Shy...I guess we have a versatile band right here. That's why I like them so much.
Swifties, Your mission, should you choose to accept it is decode the WHOLE discography of the 1975, in search for TAYLOR SWIFT'S references (Tip: I'd go right from the beginning lol, there's a lot there)
Working on it, and as I go half the songs are going into a playlist I've named Torture Me Daddy. I wouldn't have discovered The 1975 without TTPD. I was new to Taylor and knew nothing of her backstory or personal life, I was just starting to dive into her lyricism and appreciating it. When TTPD came out and it happened that the first review I watched, the person knew the deets and right off and was telling enough info to get me hooked on the backstory... and here I still am, obsessed with this band, crushing on Matty, and trying to match up all the back and forth song/video callouts.
They were formed in 2002, and this was exactly how pop punk bands dressed and acted in their videos. So spot on that I need to lay down for 45 minutes. NAY. AN HOUR. A FULL HOUR.
If only The 1975 actually wrote some tolerable Pop-Punk then I actually might like them, but their music is bland soulless and completely un-addictive and Matt Healy is a pretentious dickhead. Give me; Sum 41, Green Day or even Busted over this so-called "Arty" crap any day of the week and if people seriously think this is being artistically clever then that only goes to illustrate how much the standards of contemporary music has plummeted and recent years and they've clearly never listened to Radiohead.
@@catalina4858 yeah it didn't feel cohesive at all. Especially compared to their first three albums. Just felt like a random collection of 22 songs thrown together.
You just contradicted yourself. “People talk shit about the album but singles like this are some of their best stuff” ….yeah…people love this SINGLE just not the ALBUM as a whole.
Albert Vasu - Wheatus is an American band from the late 90s. In July 2000 they released a song called “Teenage Dirtbag” which became an international hit and has been featured in dozens of movies, series and videos.
The 1975 will forever be my favorite band. They continue to amaze me with the material that they put out and I love that they have grown and matured as a band. Matty and the boys should be proud of what they’re doing not only for the world 🌎 but for everyone that loves and appreciates them as a band because i’m sure that they have saved so many lives and bring so much joy to People God bless The 1975. // LOVE //
So there’s this girl. We’ve been friends since we were like six, I don’t even remember. As I grew up I often thought „she’s really pretty“ or „how do the boys not like her?“ One day I realized that I had madly fallen in love with her. In stages, just like it says in the song. I would always hate how she thought so low of herself. She never liked hearing her own laugh, never wanted to look into a mirror, she even hated the color of her eyes (a gorgeous shade of dark brown with golden sprinkles whenever the sun is shining) Whenever we hang up on the phone we say our “I love you“s to each other, but I know that she’s never gonna mean it the way I do. Every time I hear this song I can’t help but think about her. I’m not crushing on her, I’ve had crushes before but it never felt like this. The way my heart goes faster every time she texts me. How I lose my breath whenever she finally gets confident enough to turn on her camera during a video call. The way I panic when she leaves me on read for three minutes, even though I know that she’s a slow texter. I think I’ve genuinely fallen in love with her and I don’t know how to get over it. She’s just so unreachable. She’s straight, slightly homophobic and currently crushing on a player who’s most likely gonna break her heart. It hurts.
Lucy Autumncamp wow stay strong trust me when the time is right you will feel it. you never know how she feels about you! life is too short to hide how u feel from the people u truly care about!!
man i remember exactly when this song dropped and how it felt listening to it for the first time. my best friend at the time and i were hooked to this song for months and i remember listening to this as i travelled back to my hometown after the lockdown was announced. a lot has changed since then. I was 18, in my freshman year, everything felt amazing. Now im about to graduate soon. Everything is so dull. I forgot this song existed and i just happened to remember the music video out of nowhere. Now I'm nostalgic about the short timeframe in early 2020 when everything in my life was right. My bestfriend that i mentioned earlier and I dont talk anymore. I dont know if she remembers this song. If she remembers us singing together quietly in the library. I miss those days. Listening to it after a few years brought so many bitter sweet memories.
Kyle Chin you nailed it. From first listen I’m thinking What song could this be from? I feel like I’ve heard it before. Could totally be on AP soundtrack. And I love that movie.
The attention to detail with the T-shirts! Opening with the Superman "S" everyone used to draw to the Playboy & a girl wearing Von Dutch ahhhh, I'm the same age as the band and this just SENT ME BACK
