"No way you will be bored driving this around town"...Perfectly stated. I have an M sport and I always have a smile on before I climb in the cockpit....
I got an 2013 X1, like a baby brother to this. It's SUUUCH a cool platform. Half car, half truck, it does EVEYRTHING you want it to. Anything before 2015 is classic BMW, the AWD is still RWD biased, hydraulic steering etc. I spent 3 years shopping for cars not finding anything I liked until I came across the X1 with low mileage. Best decision ever. The X3 looks awesome also. Basically same except slightly beefed up. Another cool thing about this model year is that they are very timeless. They're right at that point where they have enough tech and modern design to look good, but not over the top with all these unnecessary bells and whistles. They're going to look good even ten years from now. And you can ALSO get them for a good price.
It certainly drives like a BMW. I have a 2014 standard interior 2.0i xdrive for over a year now. My other car is an E90 323i 2005 manual. Perfect BMW family. Both in Alpine Weiss. Sheer driving pleasure
@@ainsleyveeran4299 i’m getting 2014 x3 28i as well. It’s over 100miles so a bit worried. Have you had any issues so far? Heard that N20 engine has some issues
Just got the same year but with 37k on it two weeks ago. I paid a little more due to the low mileage but It’s worth it. Drives like a dream and although I have had back pain in the past, I didn’t notice any uncomfortableness in the ride at all, especially compared to what I came from. A definite recommend from me.
@@paulinazuckerman2932 Hi. I sure am still driving it. It's been an amazing vehicle. Coming up on three years (in April) and it's been as reliable as any car/SUV I've owned. That's saying something because I've owned my share of Hondas and Toyotas. If you're wondering if I would recommend, I would say I do 100%!
So I got a used 2004 Mercedes Benz E500 4matic for $3500 total. Turned out to be a money pit. I'm really trying to be rid of it and get a better one. I still owe on it, but I found this for $7500 at a local dealership online, looks to be in good shape. What do you think?
Thank you for the review, if you don't mind a question, you mentioned on the video, the ride feels more on the firm side. Do you think installing a spring buffer will improve the feel of the ride?
Hi,how is the 2013 x3 now?? Iam planning to buy a used one with 90k miles on it,,is it good or bad,,,or should I stick to japanese cars,? I live in lebanon ,,weather here is not very hot and not very cold all 4 seasons,,i only use it for weekends not daily driver
thinking of getting 2014 x3 28i with 169k killometers on it. have you encountered any issues/problems with timing chain guide? or anything? i've test driven one today and it seemed well taken care of, but a lot people say n20 engines have a lot of problems. would you recommend getting this 2014 x3?
@@leightonshehan7423 no issues but similar BMW models tend to develop oil leaks at this mileage. Not too bad about $500 to fix it you have an independent mechanic.
It will depend on the equipment package opted for. I bought a used X3 a year ago. It has built in navigation with premium stereo but no back up camera.
