Thw new 2018 bmw 5 Series seems to be shredding its harder edge approach to appeal more to a wider market. The adaptive dampers helps to give this 2018 bmw 540i the benifit of bout worlds. Comfort and sporty driving in one package. if you are acustom to the ride in the Msport E39 or the E60 5 series then this G30 will feel like its floating on a cussion of air. the mercedes or Lexus driver will feel at home here in this cockpit. The quality of the materials and workmanship is second to none. The 2018 bmw 540i is wisper quiet as well. The adjustable dampers make a huge difference to this car and it nutralizes the bumps and keeps its occupants isolated and relaxed inside.

This car a is great daily driver. I actually picked up one up last week, your video was the push I needed, I was hesitant given my last 540i was the V8 E39. Although not my local dealer I went to BMW Toronto and it was a good experience, glad I made the trip downtown.

Great video... editing is always top notch! Loved my F10...MUCH better Just had this car as a loner last week. Great drive. Love the new design of the gauge cluster... no plexi sheet in front of gauges. Never seen anything like it!, Steering felt a letting sluggish I don't particularly like the "hockey stick" design taken from the 7series with the chrome side gill... looks better blacked out. I think they are going to carry this to the 3 series... ugh. Interestingly enough the M5 body style is slightly nicer by eliminating that "hockey stick" Love the Blue... even nicer with vanilla interior. All that said. It is a luxury ride! I have been watching other vids on RU-vid... but your passion is the best!! Come to Boston and review both my cars;). Could be a double header episode..

Clay Benjamin Smook if you have an f10 keep it. 5 years from now. Buy the g30 2018 or newer. I drove the 2018 530e today. Nice car but nothing to up grade to from my 2013 528 x drive. I think people upgraded to the g30 because they had a the longer wheel based 2015/2016 f10

Your Amazing video content convinced me as yesterday bought a 2017 BMW 540xi Luxury Body Style with sports line trim. I was truly blown away by the performance when driving in sports plus the car has a classy look but yet a violent nature when you need it to be. It was a tough choice between the 2017 440i Grand coupe and this. Thanks to your video and car depreciation I made the right choice.

LET'S ROLL OUT I appreciate the knowledge you have of BMW my previous vehicle was a 2013 328i coupe/ e92 so upgrading to this vehicle definitely noticed a night and day difference in power for sure. My question for you with the B58 engine and parts does it piss through spark plugs and coil springs very often? This was a huge problem I had with my 2013 328i e92

Watching people drive bmws so slow makes me wanna pull my hair out. This guy was so excited by driving slow asf around corners I can believe it. The shots from inside the cabin looked a little fast but outside the cabin there's no doubt about this guy not going over 40 on any bends. How you test the ultimate driving machine driving the speed limit. I though this guy was really gonna do some driving and then talk about it but I can at best call that a slow stroll

@@letsrollout7307 well I drive 2013 camry and was looking to buy 2019 es lexus f sport model. Now im considering a BMW which is the accountant car or even audi. My issue is that I don't like smaller cars which is why I made mention of the BMW series 5 and audi a5. I know lexus the value don't drop as quickly as the BMW and audi. But the lexus es 350 is front wheel drive until 2021 version. This result in a drop of hp from 302 to like 250 ish.

@@seanburnett9987 so space and reliability is #1 for you Sean. The space issue will be covered better in the BMW and audi. Their seats can fold down to accommodate more. The Lexus will have a smoother ride. If driving please isn't important to you then Sean , Lexus is your car .

It's a beautiful car for sure but I still feel like they need a refresh on their interior. I'm a fan of the digital display and the comfort seats with massage. Makes me miss my E class lol.

Surendra Deosaran. The comfort seats are amazing yes. Each company has there interpretation of there design language. This g30 interior is nice and materials are great. I still love the pinpoint accuracy that comes with a rear wheel drive. Thanks fir the comment Surendra. See yiu agaun next week

Lol. Andy Andy my friend. That's only a apple to apple comparison by name only. Your 2003 540i is a V8 compared to this straight 6. Now your E39 540i is a classic with such a timeless design thats simply untouched in my opinion but the tech in this will put yours to shame. Would i rather have your car over this???
