There it is, the "BMW's break, don't buy them" line. I've own many over 30+ years, NEVER had anything but routine maintenance. Find another fake news story to spread.
@@PSA955 - my X5 4.8 was a blast to drive, but the auto leveler failed, gas line leaked, head gasket leaked oil, radiator fluid reservoir leaked.. Traded it in with just under 75000 miles for a Lexus 470 which has been flawless. I love BMW styling and the driving experience, but shy away because of my experience with poor durability issues.
It would have been interesting to see the MSRP of the model tested. Starting price on BMW, Audi and MB doesn’t mean much since the likelihood of one finding and wanting a base model are low.
