As a professional race car driver there's nothing like the Z07 Corvette. I love Z07; Corvette. I love the arrow the dental force of this car is tremendous one of the best years and best Corvettes ever. It's worth buying Z06 or Z07 Corvette!
while the Camaro was "technically" produced in 1966 as to the calendar date, those cars were titled and released as 1967 cars. so the FIRST model year for the Camaro was 1967 NOT 1966.
@@ChevyCLE i understand your video was about the modern Camaro. however, you should try to be accurate when doing car videos. the fact is - the first Camaro was a 1967 model, not a 1966.
@@ChevyCLE i don't want to be a nit-picker here, however, if "the resource" you consulted said that the "first Camaro was a 1966" - that statement is simply WRONG and i would be happy to have that debate with whomever was the author of your resource. new American cars have been released in late September of every calendar year for probably 80 years as the "next year's model." thus, a Camaro built in a GM factory in September of 1966 was a "1967" Camaro - and that's EXACTLY what the TITLE to the car would have indicated - just as car titles do today. i sold new Chevys in 1972 right out of high school and those 1972 Chevys were built in the GM factory in September of 1971 - but they were titled, advertised, sold and financed as 1972 Chevys.
Imagine if they put in the lt2 engine in the camaro to compete with the updated performance of the 2018+ mustang and dodge replaced the 392 with a NA 426 hemi

If I was running GM this would be my setup for the next gen Camaro. Four cylinder model I wouldn’t change anything, the six cylinder model I would increase the power and torque to about 340 and 295. The SS model I would make it 490 horsepower. Z/28 I would return to the LS7 and update it to 575 horsepower. The ZLI would use the ZR1 motor and update it. Maybe do and factory option Yenko Hybrid model making over 850 horsepower. But what do I know 🤷🏾♂️. If there is a next generation model.

I really like the car, but I was curious to know why navigation wasn't included for 2021. Its a feature that should be standard by now ,dont you think?
@Chevy CLE I much prefer the in-dash factory navigation. As long as the maps are updated every year, it works great. I can use my phone navigation as a backup, even though I never do. I don't like apple carplay or android auto for navigation because I lose service reception a lot, which includes the navigation! The car navigation still works without reception. I lose reception at ground level... Forget it in the mountains... I never get reception up there.
Quang Lam people pay because in some markets you can’t even lease a pony / muscle car, unless it’s the 4 cylinder version. I know the money is ridiculous, but with low interest rates sometimes buying new is better than purchasing a return-to-stock used performance car. thus the reason why dealers aren’t offering lease plans. What I’m opposed to is buying a new $100k version of a $40k vehicle.
@@pappaclutch3266 correct, but I don’t want to pay triple and still get $40k build quality. Honestly the C8 is the best overall value these days. But the most bang for your buck is the Challenger scat pack. However because Dodge muscle is everywhere these days I picked a Mustang instead to be different.
Don't like not being able to turn off the interior lamps after engine stop, I have tape over mine. Quad tips on the exhaust but only 2 running on any mode. I had to change the awful GoodYear F1 tires to all season. Wasn't cheap. The collision detector is over sensitive for no reason and alarm will sound over radio. My 2020 has android and apple play, not sure what's different here.
Would someone agree? - that in Hyper Blue, RedHot or Garnet red this car looks 2x better.. this Riverside color is kinda sad.. I mean it's too simple color for so special car..
The CEO of Chevrolet needs to go, they are making mistake after mistake, moving jobs out of U.S., making the Corvette not look like a Corvette, discontinuing the Impala, Malibu, Cruz, discontinuing the Camaro! Making a 4 cylinder Full size Silverado, how can the truck get better gas mileage when it’s pushing that much weight, that engine will be wore out at 80k! I own a Silverado, HHR SS, 2018 Cruz, 08 Impala, and a perfect C5 Corvette! I noticed my favorite car to drive is my Chevy Cruze, I like the size of it moving around the city of Phoenix! The Camaro is a huge seller, you see them everywhere, why on earth would they get rid of them? They have already got rid of their passenger cars! I only buy chevys and I hate what she’s doing with Chevrolet!
I don't care when it was built. The first year was 1967. There is no titled 1966 Camaro that has ever existed! When you are conceived in December and born the following month we don't say you were made the year prior.
@@Justin-ik6se I’m simply stating competition makes both of them better. Nothing jealous in that statement. I find no joy when someone’s favorite car is discontinued.
