Not mentioned here is the HR-V has the fewest reported new car problems of all Honda models. It also holds its resale value better than the competition. Its low power output (141 HP), with no turbo, actually aids in its long-term reliability. I've traded in my Honda Fit for a 2021 Honda HR-V EX AWD, and I couldn't be happier about it.

The typical consumer get’s so caught up with a car’s specs, features, and horsepower they overlook the reliability and resale of it. All the suckers buying Teslas are in for a big surprise when their cars starry falling apart and the resale value is terrible. Tesla sold them computer technology, we all know computer technology is already outdated after 1 year LOL. The HRV’s 1.8 liter sohc I-vtec engine has been used since 2006 in the 8th generation base model Civics. We all know that generation of Civics are the best and most reliable of all time.

The flip-side of high resale is that Honda dealers give almost no discounts on new HRVs. Therefore people end up paying a lot for new Honda vehicles.

@@braetonwilson4296 Just bought one. You can get a good discount if you're willing to invest the time "playing chess" with the sales people. Took me 4 hours. lol.

The second USB port (which has a cell phone icon pictured by it) is used for Android Auto or Apple Car Play. It allows you to connect your smartphone to the car in such a way that you can have it read off your text messages or more importantly bring up navigation. You no longer have to mount your phone to see the map for directions. You can just plug it in to the appropriate USB port and you can pull up maps and directions on the car's infotainment screen. In fact, you can manipulate the phone completely from the infotainment screen once it's connected that way. I agree though that it wouldn't hurt to have a USB port closer to the passenger but, it's not so big a deal.
