Nah car is dogshyt considering the price tag. Much rather buy a Classic Charger and restore it myself with that type of money. These hellkittens/snackpacks are too mainstream. I see them everywhere. The Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing would be my (American muscle sedan) alternative to the Hellcat… supercharged V8, with 4 doors, and more “under the radar” compared to Hellcats which seem to be a magnet for car thieves.

Love the Hellcats, but a CT5-V Blackwing is probably a no brainer for me if I'm going American muscle. I'm a bit disappointed in the interior for the Blackwing however. Call me nuts, but I think I even like the ZL1's interior better than the Blackwing.

You're paying for "performance reliability" that Mopar spent millions in R&D. You aren't buying a 392 and installing a Whipple and hope the internals won't bend on you while ripping it on the highway. Hellcats are the AMGs of Dodge. You're paying for peace of mind. $26,000 gets you the supercharger, the fuel upgrade, the injectors, the internals, the ECU tune, the programmed infotainment, the luxury leather, so on and so fort, AND the labor to install and R&D/Testing, and the Mopar tax at the end. In my opinion, the Hellcat is worth every penny.

I owned a WBSP for a year before selling it and purchasing a GT-R. Despite idolizing the R35 for 10 years, I have to say Dodge did something special considering I still find myself missing the raw power and sound of that Hemi V8. That throttle is both addictive and intoxicating. I definitely plan on purchasing a hellcat in the future but figured it was better to secure a lower production vehicle before they become more difficult to acquire. All the performance cars of this Era will be collectibles!

When you first entered the highway you mentioned "the steering was a little flat and it took some setup" I know what you're describing. In the settings menu you can switch the power steering modes between Normal, Comfort and Sport. By default it comes in Normal. I found personally that by switching to Sport the steering feels MUCH tighter/firm and I can feel the road through the wheel. This fixes a lot of that flatness and gives the response you're looking for.

I'd gone into Sport drive mode before entering the corner, so the steering was in Sport. Noticeable improvement over Normal, but still not the quickest turn-in (305-section tires have something to do with that for sure)

Great POV! I have an appointment July 2nd at my local dodge dealership to begin the build process for my charger hellcat widebody. The final selling point for me was the supercharger whine! I had enough of hearing them everywhere else, time to get one before they cease production.

@@worstgamer1162 tell the dealer what you want and they'll create a build for you if they have the allocation to do so. Dodge of Naperville could not allocate any more builds until 2023. The last year of the Hellcat will be 2023 those will hold the most money Best Buy them next year as soon as you can

I ordered my widebody charger hellcat in go mango w black hood back in February it’s gonna delivery any day now, these cars are one of a kind. Especially with how they are going out of production makes them that much more special. We have a green f8 demon and a scat pack but there’s nothing like going past 3k rpm in a supercharged hemi. The people who talk trash are the people who have never riden in them plain and simple. The first time I launched that demon got me addicted to dodge. ✌️

Definitely should of included the Camaro ZL1 convertible. 2 door drop top 200mph BEAST! 10 speed instantaneous shifts. Superior at handling corners, 650hp 650 torque. Looks menacing... After 1 test drive I just had to own it. Try one and you will be convinced

Storage sucks as I own 4 cars and rent storage to keep 2 of them. And the 90 plus grand for a new jailbreak is a factor. But if I won the lottery I would start a baby Jay Leno collection lol. Just even getting a normal Charger with the 5.7L hemi V8 is enough power for most, I mean 370 HP is more than enough. But this 6.2L supercharged V8 with over 700 HP is ridiculous, and I love FCA for doing this :D Plus the Charger looks timeless and beautiful.

Yeah that interior is super disappointing especially for 2022. My 2020 rebel blows that interior away. Then I also just leased a $25K car and it has more features than this. This doesn’t look like it has auto climate or anything like that which now comes standard on a lot of cars.

I have a challenger rt with 275's on the rear. Just pulling out onto the road i have to be careful as not to get sideways on dry pavement. With an estimated 330 wheel horsepower on my car.... I honestly wouldn't need twice that. A SP would be plenty for me. Anyone hating on these cars... slowpar... heavy boat ect. I guess unless you've driven one you can't know.

Respect your opinion. But that is so false. This Car is not even close. Yeah the supercharged V8 is cool, but there really isnt anything more that makes it great.

I love this car so much, great review, made me love it even more lol. Im only 21 but i want to finance one & put it on turo just enough to pay my monthly note then it be my daily car when not rented out. I dk though, lot of options to weight, the scat is nice too!

My only issues with these are that the interior is miles away from some kias or Hondas (factory) and every high end muscle car. And secondly, the price. My 17 cat cost about 71 OTD which is 20+ more than the scat and the only real difference is the engine. For less that 20k I can buy the engine. For another 5-8k I can get the conversions n extras (depending on your car) then another 4(high end) for labor unless you do it and now you have a 707hp ‘98 Ford Taurus😂. I coulda bought a Vett or something but the hype is what keeps most around 🙌🏾

Anything besides drag radials and you aren’t getting a good 0-60 on these things. I love em, and they’re highway killers, but I got 4.3 in my Scat because my tires actually hook lol

@@ReedLovesBiscuits Alright boss, whatever you say. Literally have never had a 0-60 over 5.4. The 4.6 was in the winter and it was 4 degrees out, got a picture to prove it lol. Usually averages 4.9-5 flat when it’s not that cold tho. Flowmaster 40’s, cheap drop-in “performance” air filter, and a TaZer are the only mods I have

The design is over 10 years old, not to mention the chassis dates back to the mid-90’s Mercedes. These were developed during the Diamler-Chrysler era.
