Hey thanks man I rode in the 90s and I have a bunch of kids (3,5,9) they are getting into it. I’m learning a ton !!! I’m excited to get my skills back and improve while they learn. I need used bikes if ya kno anyone 😂 it’s pricey. My 5 yr has a 2008 fa team micro and it’s great but old. I love the videos 👍

Signed onto a Chase RSP team and I got the fresh 5.0. Black with white frame like yours. The hardest question is which accent color should I do? I’m thinking blue hubs and HTs. Also pretty stoked to have it built for Scotland Worlds

Onyx ultra SS rear axles are interchangeable. You can swap the axle, cones and etc from the one to the other for the wheel swap / testing video

Speaking of the colorway and graphics, I understand race bikes not having "pro-models" like free style or dirt jumpers the molds just wouldn't be cost effective. That said I think a signature colorway and graphics for the pros would be sick. You, Joris, and Izaac with limited edition colorways and graphics? For yours to keep it all F1 style the colors stay the same, your sponsors logos (stickers) in chrome on the insides of the chain stays, your signature in chrome on the top of the head tube, then a on the bottom of the down tube in that teal a replica of your sleeve art.

The cranks look really good with the spider painted. But please, stop clamping the frame in the stand, especially on the carbon one 🤪- use the seat tube. Look forward to the carbon/aluminium head to head.

What's the big deal about clamping a carbon frame on the stand?? There's no way in hell you can generate enough force by hand to crush, dent, warp or deform a carbon frame. As for scratches & dings....it's a race bike! If you don't have ANY scratches & dings then you aren't racing hard enough lol!

C'mon, give us the compare anyway. Still "accurate" between the two, as the 5.0 doesn't allow for the 20mm, so something to consider between them. Either way, would love to see you do this. As for the tires "having bite", I'd agree with your theory if racing on dirt, but start hills are mostly paved, so think drag racing, slicks rule.

Really suprised that with how trick chase makes everything that they didn’t build that frame with built on rear disc mount so u don’t have to use crappy adapter

I actually like the adapter but it always stays in place with a pitch joke so removing the rear wheel works the same as an Mtb but you can still adjust your rear and length if needed

Thx for the video! I'm still hesitant what rear tyre to setup for my son's bike - I have a choise between DTH and Torch. Torch seems to be named for racing, it has a 'faster' wheel tread and higher pressure. The sources I saw stated DTH is only for 'classic' BMX'ers, has lower pressure and wheel tread does not seem that fast. What's the deal to go for DTH vs Torch overall? That's what I'm talking about... sub-20 lb. BMX bikes! I can't stand these modern-day bikes with fat seats, chunky fat tires, goofy grunge looks and blatant disregard to weight. Bravo!
