I recently bought one of these and agree with your assessment completely. However, I’ve never owned a BMW before and I am coming from MB, Bentley and Porsche vehicles. I found the driver systems to be extremely unintuitive to the point of frustration. The car rides better than any car I’ve ever owned but if you’re new to BMW plan to spend some time learning how things work before jumping in the car.
Thanks, Chris. I can appreciate it when you're accustomed to the systems on those other brands (I've driven all of them) that this is a little different. I've been on a tear through new and refreshed 2024 model year BMWs as of late and I can tell you that once you're used to them everything works brilliantly...or at least the way I use the systems. I bought this luxury beast, and I'm a believer in BMW now! It gives you top tier of luxury, sport, maneuvering, and definitely cutting edge of the state of the art. They have out classed the competitors.
It is, the S-class is just safe and very dated. In ten years you'll be asking everyone, "What was I thinking!" Currently, the new 7 is cutting edge and a little scary. 👻
@@BrianMakse Hi Brian. Great review and well done. These cars are now selling for 85-90K with only 5K miles. Such a shame because they are incredible vehicles however the depreciation is just incredible
When I first saw the thumbnail I was like Oh, it looks almost like a BMW, must be a new Chinese luxury sedan. Then I looked again and thought Oh, it actually is a BMW. Funny.
I don't think the current political climate will allow those to come to the U.S. market. I expect tariffs and "voluntary" (as in gun to the head) import restrictions similar to what the Japanese faced years ago. @@BrianMakse
SO, this bmw model with this engine will not be available to the EU, nice BMW, really nice. This is why it's important to vote this year people!!! Trow the RENEW EUROPE OUT!!!
