Woooo now i know why cleriths are saying like that based on original.. welp now for the remake, the developers correct certain aspects 😚 like things are making more sense now
I’m pleased with the change they made for the promise because some fans(you probably know which “fans” I’m talking about)would always say that Tifa was manipulative and selfish for bringing up their promise. In the Remake, instead of Tifa reminding him, Cloud remembered just by staring at a fan that reminded him of the water tower which is pretty adorable haha😅.
I never played the original, but in the remake, I feel like Aerith is the one pushing herself to Cloud. Aerith is incredibly annoying and tries to mask it by being cute, which makes her even more annoying.
AnaTaff Hmmm I can see why you think that. One example I can think of right of the bat is in chapter 8 or 9 where Cloud was leaving Aerith’s house but Aerith finds him and says that she isn’t sick of him yet, also in the park where she ignores cloud saying he needs to get back, Aerith insists him to sit down and relax on the slide just because she wants to spend more time with him. It is somewhat adorable but once you take off the shipping goggles it comes out as Aerith annoying cloud, but ever since the OG she was always like this, I still like her tho :D
300 Gamers Studio agreed. Each character has their flaws just how real people also have them. That’s why I find these characters so relatable. And no problem 😀.
@@AnaTaff If you think this about Remake, don´t play the OG ;) I didn´t liked Aerith back then because she was so pushy towards Cloud and sometimes kind of mean against Tifa. Although I´ve heared that this is a translation thing... But in the Remake there were just a few moments on the way from the church to sector 5 when she annoys me. Rest of the time I really like the Remake Aerith :) Especialy with Tifa. The girls are very nice to eachother now. I like it a lot ♥

His concern for her is more obvious in the Remake: Cloud can recognize Tifa's silhouette inside carriage and immediately runs towards Tifa when she heads to the wall market. In the OG Tifa is clearly visible outside the carriage, but Cloud's still like "Nah, she's good, we'll catch up later"
Why did Square Enix made Cloud and Tifa scene more intimidate in FF7 Remake compare to FF7 Original? It's literally because people complained that one of the girls(Aerith) was more heavily favored in the original. If they didn't, then it would look sad, bittersweet or cruel for Tifa with how jerky Cloud is to her and how sweet he is towards Aerith. The remake still shows the contrast between how he treats the girls, but he's not as mean to Tifa now lol There's still that childhood flashback that shows how he would ignore her and her friends and her walking away from him, so the intent to show that conflict/distance is still there.
Well you have to understand. The OG FFVII had the whole game to balance out the love triangle. He mostly ignores Tifa in the first half but the Cloud Tifa relationship becomes much more prominent once we start finding out more about his true self. The Remake only deals with 5 to 10% of the OG game at the most. So they really had to beef up the Cloud Tifa moments to make things more balanced.
M H Expect He wasn’t really ignoring her, just the opposite really. In the OG game, he straight up stalked her but didn’t hang out with her group because he thought her friends were stupid. And in the remake, he seemed more jerky towards Aerith if anything (in the OG game, he was already accepting of her date from the get go and was laughing with her which is not present in the remake). And he was already wanting Tifa to open up to him in Ch 4 when she was in his room along with his “beautiful” statement. He was wayyyy more soft with Tifa this time around.
Spoilers Yes. The only thing I kinda like better in the old one is cloud forgetting the promise. Shows how messed up his mind is after the experiments. Then again him actually remembering is too heartwarming I love it
Him remembering emphasizes how important Tifa was to him even with the experiments. I kinda like that. In the original, his infatuation with Tifa is kind of kept secret until disc 2. It is for storytelling reasons. But because the fans already know about that, there is no function served in him not remembering that if we do not count inconsistency.
I think this time Square wanted to make some justice for Tifa by not letting her seem she was trying to push things between her and Cloud. I can even say he really likes her this time. Hope she can be with this him and who knows, probably Aerith will be with Zack, after all, no one knows what will happen this time.
Actually square enix mentioned few times that how the story will goes really depending on the fans, they are watching social medias and forums on how fans are discussing on the game. So lets discuss more about what you guys want the story to be :)
@@300GamersStudio Well, honestly, I'm kind off a hopeless romatic and I really expect a happy ending for this story. I would love to watch Aerith and Zack together and Cloud and Tifa as well. I don't get why the fandom fights over who Cloud really loves, like they forgot Zack is there and he's whom Aerith first loved.
Well with the cube like figures and text boxes a lot could be misinterpreted. Kind of like a text message versus talking. The remake really tries to make the most out of its HD graphics and voice acting, even slight dialogue changes and additions so we can better understand each character. Not to sure about the ending but won’t let that discredit the good things they did well.
I posted before but Cloud does think of Tifa as his girlfriend/lover based on the fact that Aerith offered him a flower and he wanted no part of it until she told him that it would make his girlfriend’s day. He gives it to Tifa and looked at her and wasn’t shy about it…so romantic! My point being that even tho Cloud hasn’t said out loud that Tifa is his girlfriend or lover at least in his inner thoughts he does have her as more than just a friend but him being Cloud doesn’t know to fully express his true feelings for her just yet but he will get there and it’s clear she’s is waiting for him. And she will wait as long as he needs.
Many people said it fan service for tifa shipper. So what.. It SE decision.. Everything have its meaning. Just respect that. They have strong bonding within them. Sweet talk didn't mean he really into her. Hate to see people mentioned how he treat both ladies..comparing... Well He only treat tifa right and care for her.. That all to say. I love tifa💕

Think about it like this: Tifa and Aerith are both near death. Cloud can save only one of them. The one he saves is definitely not Aerith. Not in a hundred million years.

I disagree. The whole “love triangle” is well superficiall. Sure tifa is prob worried about aerith (I never got that aerith was more jealous of tifa) but they aren’t rivals in how we come to expect like Betty and Veronica. They ARE friends, dear ones at that. And they are the great loves of cloud. Tifa is the childhood girl cloud has had a crush on for years and they both are attached to each other. But they are both insecure. Tifa is a big reason why he regains his sanity. Aerith is the girl who brightens up cloud in a fun way and who is attracted to him because she loves adventure (and he reminds ss her of Zach). She is his opposite and her energy being spit cloud’s playful side that tifa can’t. She also is a major reason why cloud regains his sanity. Cloud I feel loved both for different reasons. We know that at the end of ff7, he ISNT over her death. Is that due to grief over a friend, anger at himself? Lossing a romantic lover? If he had to save someone he’d try to save both. Do I think Tifa is the one he ends up with? Yeah. But that didn’t mean he loves aerith less.
@@bradhorowitz2765 In FF7 canon you can see Tifa coming close to Cloud only at Mideel and before they goes to the final attack against Sephiroth. For the rest, is always Aerith that makes the first move. Even if you manage to get Tifa on the GS gondola, she is not romantic, but says that sees Cloud "different", While during the trip of Cloud and Aerith at the Temple of Ancients, is Aerith that, when you have to catch the ancient guard, just before entering the Black Materia shrine, says to Cloud (seeing him tired), that they're going to remember that moment as funny, when everything will be finished. And a moment before Cait Sith turns the temple in the Black Materia, you can clearly see that Tifa is not that happy that Aerith is so close to Cloud. You can see that even when they get prisoned in the Shinra building, and Aerith remember Cloud that she wants one date with Cloud, that she interrupts them saying: "So this is it." and Aerith says: "Tifa, are you there?" and the says "Yes, I'm sorry.".
@@SixDovahkiin yeah its prob because tifa at the beginning of the game HAS no idea how to respond to cloud. Tifa keeps cloud around for a few reasons: 1)she does genuinely harbors a crush on cloud (although the OG game as you pointed out makes it less obvious), 2)she does think the were childhood friends, and 3)anything from her past she doesn't want to let go. Actually tifa looks more like a person in-real life who holds onto to old friends even when they aren't exactly close/compatible/or positive because doing so is scary and lonely. Now, Tifa is very cautious about her feelings and the people she deals with. Cloud has amnesia, so she has no idea how to help him and she is curious as to why he is the way he is (cold, stubborn, obnoxious). She is also currently dealing with taking down shinra and is very conflicted about what he is doing. Girl has alot on her plate. Its made even worse when everyone one aside from barrett dies-her friends are now gone, and all she has is barrett and cloud; and only one of them is connected to her past. Aerith is the spark that made her reconsider how she should approach cloud romantically-here was a girl whose personality brought cloud to a more positive; a personality who is a foil to tifa's. Tifa does feel jealous/insecure with herself.. But tifa doesn't let this ruin her friendship with Aerith, which helps avoid a messy triangle (the archie comics and even legend of korra season 1 to an extent).

I mean they're doing these changes to deepen the Cloud/Tifa relationship ship right. I dont want to upset the other shipping group and I get that SE stated how all things are equal for both Tifa and Aerith but why change so much for Cloti from OG to Remake just for fun....I really think it's more than that and feels like they're going all the way with Cloti this time. I could be wrong and I get Clerith had a few cute scenes but too much Cloti with more meaning... Flower to Tifa and Aerith sees it later and smiles like she knew it lol Cloud remembering the promise this time and not acting like a douche The Trainjump. I get there's 2 ways where 1 way is Cloud jumping by himself but who the hell wouldbt want the one with Tifa lol but you could feel the heat between them after the jump The optional scene where Tifa asks Cloud on a date and he accepts! And yes it's a date especially considering one of the dress options for Tifa is that smoking hot purple dress! All the other scenes where Cloud saves her and hes extra touchy with her and she dont mind it at all And finally what I think is the clincher is the scene near the end where Tifa saves Cloud and he grabs her arm hard and tight with the camera zoomed in on that as it ends....that has some special meaning to it Add all of this up and it has to them in the end. I dunno maybe I'm delusional and all of this is just fanservive but it just feels like a lot more than that and plus the side characters like Biggs, Marle and Andrea know lol And even Aerith knows especially after seeing the Flower in the Bar and telling Tifa to follow her heart which led to Cloud up on the Plate. You're not delusional. It was all there, loud and clear and ppl seriously have to be blind or live in simple denial if they didn't see that. A lot of Cleriths (not all) doesn't want to admit it or purposely understand wrong because they hate the fact that Tifa and Cloud BOTH have romantic feelings for each other. It's too obvious in those scenes. The tension and ACTIONS SPEAK LOUDER THAN WORDS. Especially between those two. Cloud doesn't mind at all if Tifa touches him. He totally allowes it like Tifa has the RIGHT to touch him. He is also very touchy towards Tifa, extremely protective and wants keep her safe at any cost, in every situation. He's worried about her even when she just sighs, is jealous of her and so on. If I were in a relationship like that, I wouldn't think twice that there isn't anything deeper going on. Besides, if those scenes happened between Cloud and Aerith, Cleriths would yell about romance too... So.. 🤷♀️
It feels like there has been a changing of guard so to speak. It feels like originally the devs preferred Aerith but changed their minds after making the character arcs for everyone but by then it was too late to make drastic changes and instead had Tifa’s arc really hard hitting with Cloud. The reason I think this is because all other ff7 media outside of the original game strongly pairs Cloud and Tifa together, think Advent Children and Dirge of Cerberus where they have an adopted family together, or Crisis Core where Tifa mails Zack saying how she has always dreamed of being saved by her blonde knight in shining armour (Cloud), or the countless novels which like to pair them together. Then here comes the remake trilogy where their backstories together as well as the moments between them in the present have been heavily fleshed out and they are much closer in general. Obviously there is still Aerith moments but it just feels like the majority of the creative team behind it prefers Tifa.
Tifa was a last minute addition and therefore was undeveloped, so I'm ok with her lack of character development, since it stems from an external developer standpoint instead of an intentional plot standpoint
Tifa was actually created first. Because the developers planned for the female character to die but also didn't want to get rid of Tifa, they split her character into 2 and created Aerith. Saw on tumblr that this info was in one of the Ultimanias.
Tifa was not a last minute development just because Aerith was planned before she was in reaaaaaally early development. She's clearly present in a huge amount of the game.
Tifa was created after aerith yes but what and how does it matter? Also Sephiroth was created first before cloud. That doesn't make him less important. It all boils down to later developmental process also many a times during the creative process what is created later becomes a favorite than what was created before lol
I love Cloti, of course. Some things can be messed up if we compare both games: - Cloud doesn't give a shit about her because of this Zack situation and the memories messed up. - Cloud started to recover his personality when the game goes into the final stage so he realised Tifa was the one. - During the remake, we can see it's not the same Cloud. They probably fixed this in order to give Aerith more relevance with her Cetra powers. Now she's able to see the future and the possible outcomes so she knows both, Cloud and Tifa, are in love. Even in the Aerith resolution scene you can see she's the one pushing Cloud away. It's normal for Cloud to have doubts, both girls are awesome, but he will realise when time comes what Tifa has done for him and what he was willing to put out to be her man. - Also, Aerith is a Cloti shipper, which is just fine because she knows the outcome. Remember when he hesitates answering Aerith about Tifa "it's complicated"? Of course, ma boy, love is complicated. Tifa is complicated. And you're just a Mako junkie who's lost. As lost as they're relationship was before meeting again 7 years later in Midgar. Love it so much. Tifa is getting what she deserves while waiting for Cloud with hope and treating him with tenderness understanding all things he's been through. She saved him front the Mako torrent and she's the reason why he's himself and not a Zack memo. He ows a lot, he'll better pay off or some Square headquartes are going to burn...
This proves that the writer changed their minds. Like Natsu and Lucy from Fairytail friendship or even more kind of relationship. We never knw but I’m excited when it happens
300 Gamers Studio Oh there’s a lot of shocking scenes like I never thought Cloud can dance and got distracted pushing wrong buttons😂 Aerith’s theme too like WOW it got me teared up man. ITS A LOT and AWESOME like I’m glad they make new good changes too. Can’t wait for the remake 2!!!✌🏻❤️

I don’t mind the addition of a black sports bra underneath the white top, it mimics the shirt Cloud was wearing during their ‘tryst’ at the watertower.
One thing people even to this day don't realize...is these events are changed because this was an original and a sequel in which the original timeline was being altered...
Yeah this is the og timeline just alterd cuss of future sepheroth probebly but if cloud wasent supose to remember the promise until the lifestream scene shouldent the whispers come and erase his before he talked about or somting
Haha yeah, there is an interview with ff7 remake directors and they said originally they added the scene after the explosion but it was removed due to time concern 🤣
@@300GamersStudio OH!... I guess I can live with that 🤨😄. I did re-watch the 2nd explosion scene... Barrett had no choice but to remove Tifa against her will. I still want a director's cut edition. Haha.
