If I ever saw a watch that was actually worth 21k it’s that Reverso. Entry level Pateks are that price with no complications and it doesn’t even display the movement.
I haven't spoken to my Rolex AD yet, but I wanted to order one Reverso chronograph and the whole 2023 production is already sold out, if you want one it's a 30% deposit to get the watch by late 2024... People quickly realized how good and special that watch is.
I’m glad the Gold GMT made the list. I’m not a gold watch kinda guy but I’ve always been a fan of the gold 6542 and you’re completely right about this new release being the best since! 🎉
JLC is my favorite brand at the moment. I have the green dial Polaris, the Master Control Calendar Chronograph and a duo-face Reverso. Those three right there hit about every watch category you need to round out a collection.
Actually guys, JLC made almost the exact same watch back in 1996. They also made a Reverso Gran sport chronograph in the early 2000s. The movement is not brand new. They've tweaked it so it can show the time as well. If you want a Reverso chronograph, the Gran Sport is still fairly affordable at 7k USD.
Casa Fagliano are based in Buenos Aires. They make Polo boots and the cordovan straps for JLC. Those were only available for a very particular model, sadly. All the others are only based on their design and made in France from calf leather. They have some nice colours though.
Sorry, Michael I have to pick on you again. JLC chronographs are known to be thin actually. They're just not very memorable in design. Aside from the Squadra (which was designed to be thick), the Master chronographs (legacy and sector models) and Polaris chronographs are some of the thinnest column wheel, vertical clutch chronographs in the industry measuring around 12mm, which match the Daytona. You're talking about the "watchmaker's watchmaker" here so of course they're not known to have thick chronos.
Just when I thought TAG Heuer was done for they hit it out of the park. Movement wise, dial wise, price wise everything is on point (the black is my favorite). That said these three watches you are talking about are all best picks from the show.
Reversos are so nice. The only problem I feel like they’ll have is who’s going to want more than 1 Reverso - how many people shop for dress watches in general - out of those people who’s willing to wear a rectangular watch - the competition of Cartier, Patek, etc = they need to put some more attention in their other models lol.
I like the new Carrera except for the date window at 12 on the black dial. I have a 2012 Carrera with the sub dials at 6, 9, and 12, which doesn’t bother me because if I need the 12 subdial it means the Chrono hand is running.
It's a throwback to the first Carrera with a date - the 3147N first execution which also had the date at 12. It's a deliberate placement. People who appreciate the history of the Carrera will like this small detail.
I am pissed off of the “nee trend” of the watch companies that more and more brands releasing a new models only like boutique only staff… which is more and more harder to obtain…
The Reverso is beautiful, but people are missing how big it is! Not thick, loonnnnggggg! Reverso's wear much bigger than their stated size. Its an old movement too, so less innovative that they'd have you believe. Of all things, a Reverso should not be big. That's Panerai. Glad to see JLC's

Still waiting for an answer to why Rolex is allowed (by us consumers and you content creators) to release new inventory but can’t fill backlog orders? How does that affect people who have been waiting for years? Is this a Last In First Out kind of game or First In First Out? Can I get you guys to speak about that? Если это современный взгляд, то уберите этот рудимент и сделайте размер часов меньше. Ну и цена просто бред. 3. Золотой Ролекс GMT. Без комментариев. Как он может быть недооцененным? Очереди богачей и часовых барыг за ним уже километровые?

jLC makes so many amazing watches that are so damn $$$$. My second favorite brand after Girard Perregaux. GP and JLC have so much innovation they make Rolex look like children resting on their laurels. If I had my German friends monster wrists I’d be in heaven. Curse my skinny girls wrists. Thankfully, awesome solid gold watches that fit me are easy to come by!
have u ever come home with ur reverso on and ur dogs climb on u and they move the dial out of position so the dial is hanging somehow. its christians fault
