Candidly Christian is probably the only watch RU-vidr now, that stays true to himself, to watch collecting itself. Despite everyone else out there talking about hyped up pieces and fancy lifestyles. Always feeling good come back here, Setting my feet on the ground again!

100% agree, real joy to see the passion for the watches on Christian’s videos rather than the slew of watch market videos that feel they should have a news ticker on the bottom with the increase and decrease of model values that if anything turns me off those watches.

@@sensational_cellar8606 I have a BB36 too! Also have those other 3 watches I mentioned above, specifically the Nomos Orion 35mm. I’d say try them on in store and see how you feel in person. The in person, on wrist feel matters much more than just comparing specs or pictures or price. Either way you are getting a great watch, though!

That Nomos is an absolute hit! Saw it in the window at Wempe, and I couldn't believe a modern watch house was coming out with something so perfectly proportioned. Plus, those stepped lugs perfectly mirror my step dad's Patek Gondolo. I can't wait for the opportunity to put the two side by side over dinner one day.

I want to start by saying the content as usual is great. But I wanted to make a note of how the chemistry has evolved in you guys. I think Christian has become more relax, which I believe is a positive influence from Michael. The show is becoming a gathering of old bodies to talk watches. You guys are in a great place.👍🏼

I agree the Tudor looks good on the fabric but still would buy it on bracelet. Afterwards, source the Tudor or aftermarket strap or NATO in that color or similar.

I tried on a NOMOS for the first time last weekend. I had never really considered them because I thought the lug to lug was too big on most models. Reconsidering now 🤔

Tudor BB58 is one of the best luxury dive watches one can buy today, I love mine and wear it daily. I also love the dials on the Nomos and the Omega. I almost bought a white dial Seamaster, but after trying it on a number of times, I determined it was too big and too heavy for me to wear comfortably (I have a 6.75" wrist). Good show today, guys.

Love the Tokyo SMP. I had a similar story to the one you described; went into the small local Omega botique in STL just to browse, certainly didn't expect to see any particularly unique pieces. But, they had just received their first Tokyo SMP. So good looking in person, I just couldn't say no. Bought on a bracelet and just recently got the rubber strap and I love it even more!

Hey Michael, the BB58 is an amazing watch but I would definitely think twice about the fabric strap. I bought it on that as well, and I loved it at first. The strap is essentially a ribbon (made by one of the best ribbon makers in the world), but still just a ribbon and does not hold up well to constant wear. After just a few months it looked kinda gross already. If you don’t like the bracelet I would recommend literally anything else over Tudor’s strap. Just my 2 cents :)

Yes, but I had the bracelet and didn’t love that either. I’d get the strap and supplement it with other straps and leave the bracelet behind.

This year my plans are to get the BB58 black as well, end of this month. Then when it comes out I'll get the Tissot PRX 35mm. Then later in the year I'm going to go on the wait list for a 124270 or get a JLC Reverso

Great session guys! Pure class! Nice, clean, informative and fun and not one F Bomb! Christian is truly a walking, talking watch encyclopaedia and should be made CEO of a major watch brand. I think Tag Heuer needs serious help after Biver left and Christian could be the one to bring them back up to form again! I'm looking at you Frédéric Arnault!

The Tokyo Olympic Seamaster was my first luxury watch. Beautiful design but in the end too big. Through channels like this one I have realised I much prefer smaller pieces (Solarbeat Cartier Tank for the win!)
