Does anyone else own way too many watches and only wear, like, maybe... 3 or 4 of them? Please tell me this isn't just a me thing! But these are the 3 WATCHES THAT I ACTUALLY WEAR! In 2023 these watches got the most wear time from my collection:
1. Cartier Santos Dumont
2. Rolex GMT Master II
3. Rolex Oyster Perpetual
It's embarrassing that there are 2 Rolexes on that list.
But there are some honourable mentions that got A LOT of wrist time! So I am thinking of the Tudor Black Bay 54 AND the Omega Speedmaster!
What are your MOST WORN WATCHES?

After waiting almost 2 years for my omega to service I sold all my watches. I only use ETA movement watches, and now I'm learning to service them myself. 3 Watches. Tudor OG rose logo in black, Longines conquest black 41mm and the Hamilton cooper on a custom leather strap. That's it. Cheers

Great collection. When you have a lot of watches, too many, sometimes you don't wear a watch during many months, and after a long time you rediscover this watch! It's like a new watch in your collection. I like the idea of seasonal watches.

That Santos Dumont fits you like a glove. Surely the blue 58 has memories for you as it's been a staple from the beginning s of the Channel? Then again I've sold my bb ceramic to purchase a Glasshutte senator excellence which along with Grand Seiko sbgm221 gmt and Hanhart 417es are now my most worn. Suppose the collection does evolve, but, still regret on selling certain watches. Happy new year both

Hi Britt, I’ve got a core collection of 10 watches. And another 12 are in my second league. And there are a handful vintage watches as well as some Casios. On one hand I would like to shrink down the collection to maybe five serious pieces. But on the other hand it’s nice to have some fun watches as well. My most worn watches of last year are my Pelagos 39, my Cartier Santos WSSA0037 and my Omega Railmaster with the charcoal dial. But my Rolex OP is on a good fourth place. And during the summer I worn some of my more colourful watches like a Tissot Sideral with the yellow accents, my Moonswatch Mission to Sun or the Citizen Tsuyosa with the yellow dial. Best wishes, Claus

I have two Omegas and a Rolex but I only wear my PAM111. The others never get a look in. The Rolex in particular feels like a millstone these days, it just doesn't feel safe to wear a Pepsi in London. I don't like feeling on guard when I'm out. The PAM just has a comfort the others don't have during wear due to the cushion case, the design is also medium ugly in that it's bold and a bit weird but also full of lovely details. It's the Adam Driver of watches.

There's a unique charm to wearing a watch, whether it's a $10 Casio or a $4000 Cartier. I have certain watches that I would never sell because of those memories. Hi Britt - I go through this as well. More leather straps in the winter and stainless steel in the summer. Some I can change out steel for leather strap. I find when I go to sell one, the watch dealers offer me $1,500 on a $3,000 watch. Most people I know wear "Apple watches" and will not spend big money on a watch. It's not that they do not have money, they will spend it on cars, vacations and so on. My fav watches to wear are.. Breitling TransOcean Day Date 43mm, Hamilton Feild Khaki 42 and Tag Hauer GMT Aquaracer Batman 43mm. My Rolex Sub 39mm too small on my wrist. BB1954, Rolex OP, and Cartier are must keeps for you IMO. Seems to fit your style and personality so well. As for my collection, now that I have a Tudor BB54 my Yema Superman is on the chopping block, too similar to BB54 and the Yema has long lugs, which I simply do not like on my watches now. spot on about the winter-summer choices. Also agree that once you have a SS bracelet with some kind easy adjustment for that half a centimeter, it is hard to go back. Also hard to even entertain butterfly clasp SS bracelets with zero adjustment. Thats my main beef with Grand seikos actually, not having on the fly micro adjustment. If they added that, they would easily have the best bracelet on the market.

My 3 watches are the Rolex rootbeer, Rolex DJ41 (blue dial) and speedy sapphire sandwich (current gen). I go back and forward on the idea of adding a Reverso tribute. I particularly like the new opaline dial but its a lot of cash to spend on a dress watch that wont get much wrist time. Its a separate topic but in 2024 most people wear apple watches. SEASONAL WATCH CHOICES!😃 TO me, like wake up early morning and going college on a COLD and CLOUDY day, makes me FEEL like wearing a blue divers watch (seiko sports srpd) cause it just relates to me😅, on a SUNNY early morning, definitely a poppy bright coloured dial watch like the citizen TSUYOSA (YELLOW) and when its RAINING, GSHOCK is the best I can wear cause I can be more CAREFREE about it! AND rolex OP is not at all a BORING CHOICE😅, ITS JUST SO SIMPLE AND DECENT! WHENEVER I think of a PERFECT WATCH, a rolex op always comes to my MIND! A year ago, I bought a super Mario x gshock watch cause I liked BOTH GSHOCK and SUPER MARIO, WAS REALLY HAPPY WHEN I GOT IT! but now I don't WEAR it that much but still really HAPPY😀 to OWN it! Fell out of love with my BB58 as well and traded it towards my new blue FXD, which I adore (and got at a 10% discount from my AD). For me personally, the FXD is a better watch and I have other dressy sport watches on a bracelet that have better bracelets and that I was wearing much more often than the BB 58. I know they are different colors, but it seems like you don’t need both the BB 54 and the BB 58, especially if you aren’t wearing the latter.

Britt, that BB 54 is totally the business on your wrist - always keep this one. and I also have too many watches and seasonal is a thing and that is OK! Just yesterday I remembered I have 6 Tissot T-Touches so I hauled out the box they are in and drooled. I'm already on the 3rd one in 2 days. What does this have to do with your video? Nothing, I just felt like mentioning it

So I've just started "collecting" but I don't feel like a collector lol. I have 3 watches: my gshock casiok black for working out and outdoors activities, the tissot gentleman silver dial is my office everyday wear and my nomos orion 35 is the weekend and dressy option. I think im going to rotate them until i upgrade the tissot gentlman with a rolex oyster perpetual and the nomos with the cartier santos dumont like yours. ❤

Seiko SUR has the most wear so far. Wore it as much as I could during the Christmas season since it was a gift from my wife. Chopping block? A knock off OLEVS which that is a knock off Rolex.

I’ve been married 26 years. I know now this ends for the Rolex GMT. And he wouldn’t have it any other way. Worn watches, I got on a Mickey Mouse watch kick this past year trying to find the perfect one. Ended up with 7. Mostly wear old/vintage Seiko.

As someone who has worn watches for over 20 yrs and love wearing the one i own, i still cannot understand people buying watches and not wearing them. Seems so strange.

my 3 watch collection, the Galaxy 4 daily driver, Garmin Instinct beater, and black Bulova Lunar Pilot for when I want to go analog. it's heavy and I don't wear it much so I might replace it with an Orient Black Bay Raven, idk yet.

Seasonal is how I justify keeping some of the watches that don't get as much wrist time. Though as someone pretty active, I tend towards bracelets and non-leather straps throughout the year. My most worn this past year was my Grand Seiko Mistflake. Sometimes I wore it throughout the week. Others I would swap between it and another watch until the weekend hit. But I don't think it's ever had the power reserve fully run down since getting it back in January. I didn't actually but many watches during the year until the end when there were a few as gifts to myself for Christmas and celebrating finishing some painful work projects so I wore a good chunk of my collection doing this swapping. Besides the Mistflake, I'd say my blue Santos and a white G.O Panomatic Moonphase got the next most use. My blue Ti CW Twelve did give them a run for their money when it arrived in November though. It only left the daily wear pairing when I went on a trip for New Year's and didn't take it with me. We'll see what this year brings. I've had two new watches come in, one waiting to get through customs (though admittedly a weekend watch), hopefully my Bel Canto preorder being fulfilled in the coming months, and am trying to make sure I have some money banked in case anything new revealed at Watches & Wonders catches my interest.

No Nomos? You have been raving so much about Nomos lately. By the way: If someone were to steal my GMT Master II (I don't have one but hypothetically spoken) I would make it abundantly clear that this is still my watch. So I definitely feel with James here! 😂

Currently the watch that is getting the most wrist time from me is my new Glashutte Original Panoinverse in stainless steel. I put an ostrich strap on it and all I can say is WOW. Well done GO.

What I’ve experienced with watches and stock investments is that selling is the path to regret. I never wore my ancient Submariner anymore, but I regret selling it even though I *know* it’d still be just sitting.
