thinking about buying one, 2004 135,000 miles, seems to be in nice shape. any reason not to? i have read they require lots of work to keep them going, what do you think?
I own a 2004 DII and just love it. It has some design flaws that must be taken care of before you go anywhere with it, but it's easy to work on and, if you maintain it, it won't give you any more trouble than any other vehicle. I still think it's the best looking of the LR products except for the old Series models and it's way more capable and comfortable. It will go anywhere and make you look good while it does so.
