One of the most fun types of fish to catch offshore is Wahoo. They are great for eating, and are a blast to battle. Those silver spoons I use them 2 colors up in Ontario and they catch fish left and right plus you could use them in BC as well They're just like the hockey lures

With the spoons are you running a planer or just the spoon?

Generally always with a planer.

I've had great luck pulling spoons behind an in-line trolling drail weight. It keeps them right at surface without jumping around and fouling the line. And its easier deploy than a planer.

Thanks I've had some for awhile but haven't used them. Heading out of holden beach looking for mahi and will give them a shot in between spots
