So glad you are mentioning this when its a real person at work all of this clicks in when its a manikin my train of thought is lost I know what to do don't know why it so difficult to verbalize out loud I talk to my real clients all the time telling them what I am doing giving them choices and all so nervous some people came to practice and they froze one guy was supposed to be practicing peri care on a female and he said he was doing nail care the other lady was just staring and nervous and this was just during practice
Hi, I've been a NA for about 2 months now and my job just told me I have to be certified by Oct. 1 in order to continue working there. I'm so nervous for the skills test because I wasn't properly taught all the tiny steps. I know the main points but it's the little details that trip me up. I'm watching these videos on repeat for the next 4 to 5 days so hopefully I pass. Wish me luck 😔
Nurse Jar I have been watching your videos a lot recently! You have an amazing approach to covering the material. My fellow classmates and I are in an accelerated program, and of course, are covering a great deal of skills in a very short time frame. Hi 👋 I take my state test and I get 96,3 in bed pan and 100 in ambulation with a gait belt and 90 fedding with a PPE and the statue show up I failed the bedpan I don't understand it's a mistake ? Please I hope you answer me
Hi, Inna! I'm not quite understanding how you are explaining the scoring of your skills test! All skills are weighted differently. There's not a specific specific percentage passing rate. You also must remember that you are also being scored on Indirect Care Skills/Behaviors throughout your skills exam.
