The historic World Trade Center is a beautiful building dominating the New York City skyline with hope and lots of love! ❤❤❤❤❤

The old ones were in so many films and tv shows.they we're celebraties.not even the empire building was recognized as representing NY.this building is just not in that class that the twin towers were.maybe if there were 2 of them it may look like the next generation of iconic buildings.the original towers stuck out no matter where u stood and this one is getting harder to see because other buildings being built around it .now it looks plain.

I like the fact that one world trade was built to last forever

It’s why they should have stuck with Mr. Libeskind’s original tower design .. it was so drastically altered that the finished product more or less demands a twin; it doesn’t exactly look right just sorta standing there by its lonesome ..

I wish they brought the twins back

I wish we had gotten 2 freedom towers. That way Manhattan would have its twin towers and full skyline.

Why would there be only 4 new towers anyways? In logical terms, the original WTC complex had 7 buildings in total, so it wouldn’t make sense if they only built 4 buildings, they’re gonna be making 6 new buildings

I'm curious about the pressurized staircase areas in this Freedom Tower, How can that be safe ? I get it that the idea was to prevent smoke overwhelming people escaping down the staircases in the event of another simillar attack; but with violent explosions how would that pressurized, and vital area behave ?

Look to the left at 1:03 - There was going to be a Tower 2, they've had it planned for years, it's just not in existence because it doesn't have an anchor tenant.

NORTHEAST ASIA TRADE TOWER, INCHEON or the Posco Tower-Songdo looks a bit similar...

As magnificent as as meaningful as it is the new freedom tower looks very second rate somehow ?. The freedom tower harks back in style to the 1930s Art Deco era which is cool and which does not look that too different from the original empire states building . After all said and done it reminds one of a memorial somehow to all those poor murdered people of over 20 years ago .

So this building has a concrete base," hyper fortified" steel, and ways to escape quickly....lol, I'm pretty sure that's every skyscraper. What even is hyper fortified steel😅? I would expect there should be something to absorb jet fuel and prevent it's propagation throughout the structure. I would expect early warning alarms when an aircraft comes near the building, and safe rooms with life support systems.... But it has hyper-fortified steel so I guess it's fine😅. Edit: I looked into it and turns out hyper fortified steel is treated with fairy dust and unicorn farts to give it invincibility.

It shows that the terrorists won that's all it deos. The twin towers where iconic and that's not because there are gone even if nothing would have happened they would be the most beautiful twins. Look at freedom tower it will always be plain glass blue tower just like Hudson yards and all the others. The lower Manhattan Skyline is ruined. But I guess it wouldn't be possible because of the lives lost. Maybe just move on. Because these towers where the true loving souls of new york.

It's a ok building. It doesn't belong in NYC Skyline.
