that actually makes perfect sense, he's lazy and eats like a starving pig, horny on occasion, wrathfully abusive, petty if he doesn't get what he wants, and acts like he's the center of attention, he's all of them rolled into one
Two potential characters for Gluttony are Garrfield (again, he was a runner up for Sloth), and the ever dumb, Homer Simpson (who in an alternate/Halloween episode, literally went to hell for Gluttony, and out ate his punishment).
And don't forget the episode where marge found an expired extended sandwich that is covered with mushroom and purple skin, she gave it to homer, instead of putting it in the trash bin, he ate it without thinking or hesitating, that's gluttony
@@cartooniverse And in another Halloween skit, Homer eats glowing space goop from a meteorite and transformed into a giant blob monster that eats everything.
I feel like a bunch of hazbin and helluva characters represent Lust such as Angel Dust, Fizzaroli, Verosica and Asmoudeus the literal embodiment of lust (valentino wasn´t included because what he does is more wrath than lsut as Asmoudeus said "Lust shouldn´t about force its an art thats meant to be earned and enjoyed its all that journey to pleasure town" an actual quote
Hey so I had an idea for the seven heavenly virtues as cartoon characters Kindness: Paddington Patience: rocko Humility: Hank hill Charity: pink panther Temperance: static shock Chasity: bob belcher Diligence: stu pickles
Here are other possible candidates for some of the sins: WRATH: Nicole Watterson (Gumball). Her anger is just as dangerous as Benson's. Benson might yell a lot, but last I checked, he didn't hurt anybody physically. Nicole landed a kid in the hospital when she was younger. Literally. LUST: Glenn Quagmire (Family Guy). If you've seen Family Guy, you should understand why I think Quagmire is the embodiment of lust. Giggity. PRIDE: Eric Cartman (South Park). Kyle said it perfectly in "Fishsticks", his ego being so out of whack that it'll do anything it can to protect himself. He sees himself as "Cool" and denies when anybody sees him otherwise. Even when he finally "accepts" the fact that he's fat in "Raising the Bar", he takes pride in it when he realizes he can take advantage of being on a mobility scooter. Also, Cartman might qualify for Greed or Gluttony too.
This is a cool concept. Here are my picks for the seven heavenly virtues *Charity: Madame Foster* Founded and continues to run an organization dedicated to giving shelter to imaginary friends and giving friends to kids whose imagination isn’t strong enough to make their own. *Chastity: Kif Kroker* Is very committed to Amy, his attraction to her is much more emotional than physical, and he was the only man who didn’t look forward to “death by Snu Snu” when they were imprisoned on the Amazonian planet. *Diligence: SpongeBob SquarePants* Extremely passionate about a seemingly menial job to the point that he initially paid Mr. Krabs $100 an hour to work there and there was an entire episode dedicated to how he couldn’t accept having to take a vacation. *Humility: Mike Wazowski* Fully content supporting Sully’s career from behind the scenes, doesn’t get upset when his face is blocked on tv or a magazine cover, and he will actively beat himself up to make a child laugh. *Kindness: Pim Pimling* Has a job dedicated to making people smile and is almost as passionate about it as SpongeBob is about his. *Patience: Grand Master Oogway* Is constantly in a state of peace and contentment, even when he prophesied Tai Lung would escape. He was also perfectly willing to blow out 1,000 candles one at a time before Shifu did them all at once. *Temperance: Popeye the Sailor Man* Eats his spinach.
Disagree on Mike. When they get banished he’s more upset about not breaking the scare record and being sucessful at work and not that a corrupt CEO is kidnapping children to suck the scream energy out of them and that he kidnapped Boo aswell and being angry at Sully for valuing her life and well being over his job. He didn’t seem to care for her at all until the very end.
Most of the time it’s something else that destroys the park, and he technically brings it onto himself by not firing them like most people would. He’s not their dad.
Mr Krabs definitely embodies Greed for sure. He constantly seeks any opportunity to make more money, no matter who might be effected by his schemes, not to mention his greedy ambitions make him too cheap to where he refuses to spend any money, not even a cent, on anything and just expects anything he’s given to be free.
I'd argue Frollo's more guilty of pride. He lusts after Esmerelda, he burns down Paris, and he abuses Quasimodo. He does all of this with this twisted idea of self-righteousness. He's the judge, he's dedicated his life to service to God. It's not his fault if he sees this as God's will. - And this is where Frollo's biggest crimes branch from. He refuses to accept that what he's doing is evil. He blames Esmerelda for his lust, he blames Quasimodo for the destruction of Paris, he even blames God Himself (even if he won't admit that either).
It's true, even the creator himself confirmed it: Mr. Crabs - Greed Plankton - Envy Squidward - Wrath Sandy - Pride Gary - Gluttony Patrick - Sloth Spongebob - Lust
@michaelkowal3230 lust is normally depicted as an extreme romantic pursuit. But I'm SpongeBob case, it's due to his crazy antics to the people around him, usually both Squidward and Mrs. Puffs. They make it pretty clear that they don't like him or want anything to do with him beyond the minimal interaction necessary, but in his mind, their both his friends
When ya Mentioned Gargield in the Sloth Sin, I Think, He Could GO for the Gluttony Sin Too. Vaccume Cleaner, Black Hole, you Name It. Specifically for Food. As Cartoon Characters, IF We Saw as sin of Pride... Different Nerds, Genius, Scientists, ETC. Sin of Pride, and at some Point Goof for Surprise.
Shagging Scooby are the living definition of gluttony. I’m pretty sure you’re in the entire running they’ve only been full once which was immediately negated by running for about 10 seconds You can take people like Luffy, chowder, Richard Waterson, Patrick star and all of them couldn’t even come close to how much food Scooby Doo and shaggy can eat
PAC-Man from Pac-Man and the Ghostly Adventures is definitely Gluttony just watch any episode when he eats food (which is like most of them) and you’ll see what I mean
Garfield from various Garfield media and cartoons He represents both Sloth and Gluttony! Garfield is a sarcastic and lazy indoor cat who sleeps and loves to eat some food including his favorite dish lasagna
Eddy fits each sins Greed don't need to be said why Wrath next to Sarah he's the one with the shortest fuse Lust he drool over nazz and got "special" magazines Sloth he can be lazy and one time trick everyone into thinking it's summer and some of his scam are lazy like the one time he trick a sadden jimmy Pride he think he's this big guy and look down at everyone including his friends sometimes Envy he hate when others get more love like when Jimmy and johnny playing that plank is the king or when he challenged rolf to see who more manly Gluttony he's very addicted to jawbreaker
@@cartooniverse I guess Edd would be pride too not so almost as Eddy but he has his moments of being prideful as for Ed I guess gluttony as he eats strange stuff like a dog treat and a bed. Those are a bit of a stretch
What about Homer Simpson and Garfield? I mean, they’re both incredibly lazy and love eating unholy amounts of food,so they’re basically the incarnations of sloth and gluttony
I’m gonna actually take my top 5 favorite shows and pull some characters out as candidates 5. Murder Drones. A bit of a hard one but I certainly will try. J could be seen as Pride, as she sees herself as above the other dissembly drones and in the first episode, it’s her temporary downfall as she stops to do a monologue instead of killing Uzi. Even in the advertisement for her plush, she claims she’s the only person in the world who never makes mistakes and literally exploded when she miscounted. Both Doll and the Solver can be seen as wrath due to their violent attacks on others(with Doll specifically attacking V for revenge and was fine killing other innocent drones to get closer to that) but the latter could also be gluttony as its overall goal is to eat everything including the planet to satisfy its hunger. And V could be her own case study 4.Bojack Horseman. You could honestly make an argument Bojack is all the sins but let’s specifically choose Pride since it’s the root of all the sins and evil. While Bojack is incredibly self loathing, he also puts himself on a pedestal where he is the center focus. In season 5 he even makes the claim he’s the one who suffered the most cause of his actions, even though he damaged the life of a 17 year old and caused the death of someone close to him among other things. Carolyn could be greed due to her push to constantly get things for Bojack for her company(insert episode where she damaged Bojack trying to get him this role when he just wanted to help Kelsey with her movie) and her desperation for a kid. And Beatrice could be wrath because of her emotional and physical abuse towards her son as well as her hate filled marriage with her husband 3.Courage the Cowardly Dog. Gee, take your pick. You could do a sin for each villian. But for the main folks, Eustace could be seen as Wrath, Greed, Gluttony, Envy, and Pride all at once 2.Llamas with Hats. Carl is Wrath. If you seen the show, you know why 1.Total Drama. Another where you can make a sin for each character. Owen is Gluttony. Chris is Pride. Sierra is Lust. Etc
Well if chowder is gluttony then mung daal or panini could be lust endive could be envy gorgonzola could be greed truffles could be wrath mung daal might be pride schnitzel might be sloth
@@cartooniverse Just a thought. With him always hungry, he never stops and thinks what's safe to eat and what's not. He'll even get his own brother in a trap just to get something to eat.
@@cartooniverse OK but can you do like seven deadly sins these characters have done British edition, like horrid henry angry kid, and all those other British shows
