I tried to upload this in the summer but CBS kept taking it down. Here's to hoping this one stays up. The title's pretty self-explanatory, they did a great job hosting. #SaraBareilles
Their opening song obviously doesn't have the NPH level of spectacle, but it's definitely one of my favourite numbers for the simple drama of a pair of talented musicians playing two grand pianos, and freaking seamless harmonies. I mean THAT TONE!
Even though I love both of them I was pleasantly surprised by their hosting abilities. They have natural charisma, humor, improv skills and of course amazing singers. I too am cautious for this year.
James performance is actually good and all. But honestly I still can not move on from Sara and Josh. They did something that tugs my heart. So here I am now lol
Their opening song was brilliant. Sara’s stamp was all over that. I cannot believe neither of them have ever won anything. I am shocked that Sara doesn’t have a Grammy. Shocked.
This year I photographer Sara, Sutton Foster, Rene Elise Goldsberry, and Laura Benanti on separate shows. All amazing talents and totally down to earth. I couldn’t ask for anything more.
Everytime I hear the opening I'm amazed by JGro all over again. I can only imagine how awkward it is for him to sing pop (bareilles style) cause of his classical training, but he pulls. Damn. He pulls #amazedalways
I am so down recently, I watched this several times, I love Sara with Josh so much. Thanks for doing this, and I am happy that Sara was brave enough to live record "Saint Honesty" with her band, and won a Grammy she deserves all along.
Love Sara but they're both great performers and the music they're performing is first rate. Thanks for posting this again... and it seems to be staying.
They did such a wonderful job hosting!! And I can’t believe Sara never won a Grammy at that point 😮 I remember feeling so gutted when Waitress was nominated up against the giant Hamilton. Really wanted Sara to win that Tony Awards 🥲
HA, I remember watching when this aired and I was annoyed for not having foreseen a dueling piano duet when these two were announced as hosts because DUH of course they would 🤣🤣🤣 It’s most “Sara” award opener song ever!

I hope everyone knows, or understands the story of Adrienne Shelly, who wrote and starred in Waitress. Short story, she was murdered by a construction worker, who raped and murdered her after she asked them to hold the noise down, when she was working in her office. A horrible story, and loss! And Brokensilence - please don't argue that she 'really didn't star'...
