Di María scored his goal against France last World Cup using the bounce kick. When I saw it at first I thought he had gotten lucky. After learning he actually wanted to do that made my appreciation for the goal sky rocket.
Part 2 should be: Ronaldo Chop by Cristiano Ronaldo, McGeady Spin by Aiden McGeady, No touch driddle by Lionel Messi, Berba Spin by Dumitar Berbatov, Paneka penalty by Paneka, Bolasie Spin by Yannick Bolasie, Hop kick penalty by Jorginho and Bruno Fernandes and the Step kick by Ivan Toney.
You have to show Zidanes 360 spin/ roulette, and the Redondo back-heel dummy. Djalminha's Rainbow flick was way better than Neymar's as well, he used his right foot to move it up his leg & his left foot to flick it over player's heads the one he did against Real Madrid is the best, he did a nice Rabona as well. Redondo did that amazing back-heel dummy against United. Hagi did drag-forward dummy, it's like a drag-back but you're pulling the ball in the opposite direction around the opponent.
@@michaeltrumph121Yes, but Zidane was using it everyday. Also, it's not like one can't have similar signature moves. Messi's body feint is fundamentally different than the rest because how he mastered it but anyone can have it since it's a body feint.
@@hijisfriend9030 Zidane did it mostly at Juventus, at Real and France not so much. And he did not use it everyday, his use of it isn't that much more often than Maradona's
It’s not really a skill beyond the level of a step over He also wasn’t the first to do it - it’s like calling a half turn a foden turn just because he does it a lot
no, this is not correct either. The elastico was the most popular move performed by Rivelino, brazilian World Cup winner in the 70's. There's even a documentary of him talking about the move.
@@Josepllop87 The Mechanic! Rivelino was the engine room for some great teams. Read closely, I didn't attribute the move to Jay Jay, just stated that Ronaldinho got it from Jay Jay.
@@jamesmccreery250 yeah I know what you mean. Just saying that everyone in Brazil knows the move, Dinho meets JJ in PSG (if I’m not wrong) he was his mentor in many things indeed. The point is if you are Brazilian you know about the move and rivelino, but idk just my 2 cents logic lol
@@Josepllop87 I probably do over estimate Jay Jay's influence over particular skills for Ronaldinho. I have seen many gushing interviews of Ronadinho speaking about Jay Jay. I love Jay Jay too much! I have huge respect for Brazilian football and believe the top three players of all time are Pelé, Garincha and Ronaldo Nazario. Garincha has got to be the most underrated footballer ever from my perspective. Thank you for the correction and the opportunity to chat with someone who knows football!
La croquetta was made famous by Danish great Michael Laudrup , who led Barcelona to multiple league titles. Michael Laudrup was Iniesta's childhood hero, hece why he aquired the move from him
Please you forget the greatest Brazilian legend Antony who plays for Man United. When he does his moves the defenders just have to stop and watch in greatness and wonder.
For the mesut ozil technique, you should have also used the clip showing the most famous usage of that technique - angel d Maria in the world cup final 2022 vs France!
"Rainbow Flick" first time I'm hearing that Neymar's signature move.. it's literally named after Okocha Should have done diving or crying for Neymar, his mostly performed move on the pitch
Neymar touch? Berbatov turn ( only seen him do it once but still cool), Zidane roulette, Robinho step over, Ronaldo chop, Marcelo stopping the ball dead
@@michaeltrumph121 ziziou was spamming it, so i relate the move to him. same thing with neymar and rainbowflicks. brazilians been doing rainbowflickz but neymar spammed the move
Scoop turn should go to Romario! Some good ones you didn’t mention: Ronaldo chop, Messi body feint, Iniesta’s la croqueta (or Laudrup), Okocha stepover, Maradonna Spin (or Zidane Roulette). Honorable mentions: Ronaldinho stepover, Mcgeady Spin, La boba Di Alessandro, Robinho step-overs… there more of course such as Lamela’s Rabona, CR7/Bale/Honda/Juninho Knuckle ball, the Stanley Matthews, Panenka penalty, the Rivelino, Henry fake pass, R9 drag to outside foot nutmeg, Zlatan’s karate kick volleys…
*So much DISINFORMATION in these "signature moves" videos:* *1.* *The elastico* was invented by a Japanese guy called *Sérgio Echigo* - a Brazilian former footballer of Japanese descent who played as a midfielder for Corinthians. Brazilian legend *Rivellino* acquired the move from him, perfected while they were teammates at Corinthians, and made the move famous world wide in the late 60s and 70s. Ever since, the move has been copied by many Brazilian greats and greats from other nations too. *Ronaldinho* was simply lucky he played at the beginning of the social media era, that's why many associate the move with him. However, he did not perfect it one bit and there are others who have done it way better, especially in Brazil, *Ronaldo* being the one who did it best. *2.* *Maradona* was executing the *roulette* way before Zidane. *3.* Nobody knows exactly who invented or first did the *Cruyff turn* , however Pele clearly executed it and made it famous way before Cruyff. *4.* *Djalminha* was executing the *rainbow flick* when Neymar was still a toddler. *5.* *La croquetta* was made famous by Danish great *Michael Laudrup* , who led Barcelona to multiple league titles. *Michael Laudrup* was Iniesta's childhood hero, hece why he aquired the move from him *6.* *Maradona* was doing rabona's when Lamela wasn't even born.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, the "scoop turn" wasn't popularised by Christian Eriksen. It's been erroneously attributed to him. Nwankwo Kanu "brought it to the masses" during his playing days and that was his signature move.
Hey even though i am probably really younger than you. Its not about who made the skill its about who did it as a main skill. All respects and i understand you.(my fav is neymar so probably bias 😂)
The scoop turn was perfected by Theodore Whitmore of Jamaican. He played in the 1998 world cup. I can do the rainbow flick way better and cleaner than neymar 😂
