I always thought a PVE would be like reliving all the battles in UC just GBO2 engine and mechanics and you’ll have realistic where if it’s a one year war battle can only use the respective one year war MS’s however have an arcade mode where after you complete it go back and can use ANY MS you’ve unlocked. I do like the idea of a survival or horde mode being added to the game or they can do what code fairy did and have just yourself versus AI on a GBO2 map with other AI allies

agree with all of them, I would also add improve to the netcode/server location and a reconnect/rejoin button, because most of the PC issues come from that, also a better customization for controls on PC would be nice, and a voice chat would be VERY useful, because the premade messages are garbage

cockpit mode is doable, back then in Operation Troy, they already had cockpit/fps mode, bandai probably just has to add a few tweaks to it and it'll be work nicely

I've been playing the game since the beta and this has been the most agreeable list of changes I've seen. This brings in some really good ideas, while also taking into consideration what the devs are and aren't capable of. Good work!

I agree with everything you mentioned. The first one that actually talks about the maps being poorly rotated. Also the first person mode and pve survival would be awesome to see. I would like to see better character models. They look so outdated. Overall you got a instant sub and like from me because your list would be a dream come true.

I love all of these ideas. But I have to be brutally honest here; due to my experience with Bandai’s projects; they do not care. And the ones in charge of the port are the same. As long as someone still using their products and the sales are still going; they DO NOT care.

theres one major one that also needs to be considered. that extremely brutal disconnect penalty that nets you a 29 hour ban whether the disconnect was your fault or not. as is there seems to be absolutely no system in place that tells the difference between an intentional disconnect vs a forced one.

A Gundam game that’s played in first person like Titanfall’s Titans would be sick! It felt so good to pilot the me he in that game. And the cockpit view in that game was excellent. Do that Bandai! And figure out how you could make FPS combat in zero g space 🙏

My sugestions uses the ideia of puting a Ship.: A asymmetric battle 12 players, split in 8 VS 4. The 4 players use a 600 cost MS, while the opponents uses 400 cost ( costs may vary), Diffrent scenarios: 1 - The 4 player team must escort the White Base while the other team try to destroy it. The mother base shots suporrt fire after a while, the Ace pilot of the the 8 team spam as a 600 cost MS 2- the 8 team player having to defend a big ship, colony, space laser ( I don't know a lot of the main canon of gundam, but in SEED and 00 they have gigant space lasers) . The 4 team players are on a count down or the lose.

I believe that a large percentage of people who give the bad reviews are upset about how close combat works and how REALLY skilled players perform game changing combos

in the first game you could see your team mates loadout and if a person didn't like your load out they would just leave increasing que times in the first game to where sometimes you wouldn't get into a match for multiple hours.

Honestly yeah I want pve maybe they could recreate battles from the animes that would be sick imagine fighting at Solomon fighting char

BRO THE POINT YOU MADE ON PVE would be peak Gundam game where you can still play pvp or PvE and still be rewarded for playing either game mode. Even as a new player, that itch of what if they had PvE components in this game would easily make me stay in the game longer.

Add a left hand aiming. Or to put the reticle above the mobile suits. Add a party system so I don't re invite my friend for literally every match. Add a veto / voting system for maps. Seriously fuck arctic base. Add more maps in general. We need more desert, forest, and snow biome maps. Better balance old mobile suits. Simple things like adding higher fire rate to the classic zaku machine gun. Dedicated servers would be great. Reduce the price of expansion upgrades. Most players will never be able to afford 320k dp for 5 melee damage on every suit

3:20 I understand your sentiment for this, but this one caused MAJOR issues in Gundam Battle operation 1. To the point where players would be all but blacklisted by the community for using the 'wrong' weapon choice and were harassed over it. It was bad. It existed in GBO1 with their entire build, but it was removed because of the issues it caused. I have no other disagreements with your comments or opinions. I don't think we need a first person mode, and it would change balance aa LOT, but that is my opinion, and I can respect yours for sure about it.

Ya I pretty much agree on everything except seeing other peoples loadouts. In the first game the Japanese were super anal about that. If they saw you with an "inferior" build they pretty much put the word out on you that you were an awful player. And anytime you were in a lobby everyone would leave. I'd also like to add in that the rating system blows and it should go off of player stats. Also add in skill based matchmaking

I would rather have a button to change the camera from behind one shoulder to the other, there are multiple MS that hold their weapon on the left hand and are rather hard to aim with the camera behind the right should. But, after 5 years, they won't be making any drastic changes. In any case, the thing they really REALLY need to improve is the frigging netcode, is disgusting the amount of times I'm getting countered after the melee animation finished; stunned by a beam that visually passed by meters away or a lagging enemy teleporting thru all the map. I have to play four dimensional chess trying to bait the enemy just because I know my tackles won't counter thanks to the crappy netcode.

Gunner Gundam has a new sub “weapon” which nullifies the jamming effects of an enemy EWAC, among other buffs (they even lowered heat rate and overheat time) The GM Sniper II got some buffs via some new skills and the 75mm rifle got a damage buff and “stagger accumulation value increased” whatever that means Still nothing for us Heavy Gundams but if the Gunner got some attention, we may have some hope

one thing they should let us do is add bots to a custome game not all of us know 11 other peaple willing to play a 6v6 gundam game

I agree so badly with the pve you have no idea how many time's I've gotten frustrated with bad matches teamates and latency overall only for survival sim to calm me down Something like endless waves would be fun specially with upgrades in between waves to go higher I'd play that after a stressful day of pvp matches But if I were to bet my money on bandai we would only get something lame like cod vanguard zombies

Way before PC for the point 8 and point 3, thats how it used to be. I cant remember the exact reasons why they changed it but they did nonetheless. You could buy a suit with DP, go into practice and if you didnt like it you just closed the game and you have youre DP back and no suit, now the games saves after you buy something so you cant do it anymore. I personally dont care for PvE in GBO, its just not fun. I prefer PvP due to the fact you dont know what the other team would do or how theyre gonna play (could just be because I sit in around B+ A- in rank so opponents can actually be a challenge)

Is it bad i just like the game as it is? New pve stuff would be welcomed but the rest im fine without tbh, plus u can try suits in the recycled shop, buy the suit go to training try the suit and close the apllication when u done, the game doesn't save unless you go on a pvp match so ive tested a lot of suits without paying anything, been doing that for like 2 years now idk if theyve patched it yet tho

Agree with so many of these points, though I would like to add the choice to pick which cost we get to play at. It's so frustrating to only get the option to play either 350 or 700 in Quickplay when you have dailies for a specific sortie type. Also: Bandai Namco has the rights to both Armoured Core as well as the Gundam games, the fact that we haven't gotten an Armoured Core style Gundam game still baffles me.

i have two request for this, 1: make the game more f2p friendly, the tokens we get daily is a shit ammount i you want to get the special ms in the banners ( especialy the 4 stars, gotta spend all your life resources uf you want atleast 1 of them), and 2: LISTEN TO THEIR PLAYERS, theres a godamn bug in pc port that doesnt let you claim the rewards in the reward center, people have complaining for this and even when you send a ticket to the developers they dont give a fuck about it and just say "fuck you and comeback never" , it is litteraly unplayable if you get the misfortune to get such a bug in pc version, i have it for 4 months now, i have 30 + tokens, 500,000 DP and some ms that i cant claim and making imposible to get new weapons, upgrades, ms, etc, its irritating. (also sorry for my bad english, its not my first language)

Man you ask if the devs have ever played a game before, but there's stuff you miss that makes me want to ask the same. Complaint number 1 should be "fix the keybinds so that sprinting doesn't break weapon swapping." On controller the A button is used to sprint, but holding the right bumper switches the ABXY buttons into weapon swap buttons instead; this means that if you're holding the A button to sprint and press RB, you can't select your A weapon because the button's already held down. On console you can supposedly remap your buttons to fix this but on PC you can't change your controller mappings, nor can you fix the issue with your keyboard because the keyboard's just mapped to a virtual controller using the default control scheme. If you sprint and press whatever key corresponds to your A weapon, it'll just count as a scroll wheel input instead. The same goes for any combo inputs you have bound, like your AX or AB weapon. The only inputs that are safe are X, Y, B, XY, and BY, but XB can't even be bound: the XB and AY combinations are straight up missing from the bind options.

Number three was already done, you just have to be smart about it, basically you can purchase a suit from the DP or Recycle ticket store, in which you can go to the training mode, the key here is to never save, that means no Suit maintenance, no playing real matches, no spins, and no manual saving

I want a High Performance mode where we can use mobile suits just like in the anime’s, almost like Side Story but more modern

I would love to see a kind of zombies mode where you’d have to defend your ship from hordes of enemies,and the further you get the more anti ship weapons, like there are no mobile armours you just get to like round 10 and every other gm has a bazooka. The further you get could also allow you to get further in the timeline in a kind of series battle where you’d have to pick your new higher cost mobile suit before the match, so you’d have one year war suits, zeta suits, zz suits then unicorn suits

Fixing this game is the easiest thing in the world. Just fix the God-damn connection issues.

Most of it's problem is about matchmaking and connection stability. And these two works ok on console cause it's much more simple than PC. One month ago I had so much to say about how to improve this game. However, I'm tired. Not to this game since I'm a new comer and there are still lots of fun for me to enjoy. But to the company Bandai Namco. Bandai put's lots of effort on their toy and model kit business. But they put less and less on their video game part, especially Gundam games. Gundam Evolution shows lots of potential at first, but flopped in a month due to their disregard to some easily-fixed problems and failed game design. GBO2 prove it's worth on console but they still screwed up on PC port. I know transport a 5 years old console only game to PC will definitely have lots of issues. But the attitude they gave us was disappointing. They either don't give a fxxk or works in a really slow pace, which are both terrible for a new release port. Not to say the main issue: "match making", can be easily fixed by applying more servers and change the matchmaking process, etc. VS series is always the better one in Gundam games, but they limit it's potential with Japanese arcades only. Funny story, the newest EXVS game has a game pad on the machine and many changes for the non competitive or new players. So why the fxxk not put it on console and PC in the first place? Charge for every new MS with DLC or season pass. Bandai you've done this before why not do it now? Anyway, maybe Bandai Namco is not the worst video game company. But it's the one I hate. They waste the brands I love and the potentials that could work. 😢

rank up mission to Lt. require to be B- rank in this insane lag and really hard to get room, with trash ms and trash teammate.. this game is end for me since the bar is so high and more annoy than fun it could gave. the idea of rank up (exp) with require highly competitive playing will pretty much kills 70% of the player that they still have.

GBO2 is the only gundam game I seriously enjoy. I'm sad to see it in this awful state.

I agreed with some of your points, But here some things I have to say. 1: pilot movement and control are stiff and kind a bad and running ehh not sure about running since we have pilot boost. 2: matches making lobby back in the1 year days you could stay in the same game lobby after a match in both rated and quick, but that kind of became a problem of its own thing due to one team having better players and the other team having bad players after matches and team rotation. so now we have this system today that kind of ok I guess. 3: voting maps would be good but on the other hand the random teammates could pick the same map over and over again so were stuck in a loop lol. 4: yea the games need more game mode selection like 4 or 5 games to keep the player playing and having fun with the game. 5: Seeing player loadout is interesting idea but knowing some players would quit or back out after finding a match after 10 min and then waiting to find players again lol 6: Now custom match you should have to freedom to add or remove stuff, like you can use space MS on ground and Ground MS in space and so many things you can do like pilot battle, tank only battle, some much game modes you can do in customs, Instead of AnB filling custom room every day. 7: testing out MS would be great if they added more MS to the training or battle simulation for testing. 8: cockpit view would fun. 9: Having custom battle sims would be good for teamwork with friends and clans' members.

a lot of this is good but gonna be honest i am new to the game and what turns me off from this game most of the time is the unholy amount of stagger its just not fun at all when you keep getting staggered over and over not to mention its bandai do they care? they have more ways to make money than GBO2 alone all they are going to care for is release new mobile suits and thats about it

i bet this game didnt improve at all since 2018 on consoles is cuz its not cost effective, "why fix game when people alredy play and pay?" would be the question capcom asks the dev team when they ask for more budget

Love the game. I don't want FPS. Please no. Feels like the identity of the game will be errrr but a cockpit mode is more than welcome. Right now I just want a better match making. Sometimes you just want a match regardless of the cost - Bandai should put a quicker than quick match button that will automatically find any available rooms regardless of the cost. Bandai should also let us set default units per cost so that we don't always need to set up. And so far I like the match modea except Ace because teammates doesn't know how to properly play it. They even kill steal my left enemy units for the ace. I like to keep it simple - kill one another and the more the team destroys the enemy units the better the scores. And you got a chance to turn the tides by bombing the enemy base. I'm happy with this mode. And honestly, I just want them to start expanding outside UC. The game feels so good for me that it's a shame it's only limited to UC. Bandai need to make armored core style or daemon x machina style Gundam game. They've been messing up the gundam games a lot. Majority of their users are young adults and adults so hack and slash arena games are just so boring. This game feels so technical and feels so mechish which I prefer a lot more.

Am I just spouting random nonsense by asking why we're unable to see our opponents rank except when they kill us? Am I simply a crybaby with no skill when all my matches tend to be one sided and just as you start questioning your decisions only to see that you're a level 2 private first class pitted against a level 5 major in a rated match and it ends 100 to 9999?

Removing Stun-locking, removing dialogue to enter menus, counters not being tied to the thruster gauge, sensitivity not being tied to the MS turn speed, no cooldowns for attacks, all these would make the game much better

If you are a new player of course you want they to change a lot of things in the game, this game its not like the others that change EVERYTIME, the problem is just lag and thats it, and man gundam encounters in space is a piece of sh- ngl

the first priority: get proper server instead of P2P. Peer to peer in 2023 is laughable and how do you expect players to take the game seriously when there's lag or latency everywhere in the game. Projectile that alr flew pass your suits somehow manage to stun you because of the lag and somehow you will still take damage from heavy attack when you are in tackle animation because of the terrible latency.
