What would it take to get Retribution into the recommended solo shuffle melee list? DH mobility or mortal strike or both? Un-nerfed talents? A tier set that wasnt nerfed by 50% in ptr and still nerfed by over 50% more in pvp? Removal or reduction on Forbearance?
@@prod7906 the Wheelchair part is problimatic in an arena setting where everything we want to do is visually quite telegraphed, and counterable. This makes not having an instant mobility like most specs have more of an issue. We are one of the worst at dodging an enemy ability because we can't get back behind the pillar quick enough, and cant chase most specs who do run circles around pillars with ease. Having range is quite useful in M+ plus and raid, but to live and do damage at the same time we are ill-equiped to maintain distance between us and DKs, Rogues, Monks, Warriors, (Id add Feral but they do no damage and die easy) DHs or keep up with kiting hunters, mages, Warlocks ect. Ret has some good tools to have some uptime on Priests but they can be healers and those healers take less damage than tanks, shaman in general are not too bad to fight outside of knockback effects. I'd rather have movement than range generally but I like Ret just enough not to reroll to make the trade, so I complain about or lack of mortal strike/disarm/instant mobility instead.
definitely need mortal strike. if you're in a lobby with a dh and 2 casters how are you supposed to win against the dh with dampening going up so fast?
have been playing a warlock, then tried a mage i like mages burst damgage plus mage can do more dps while moving while warlock has to stand still for imolate and chaos bolt.but then rifitng is quite satyfing.
I thought frost mage would be on the list. I think frost mage is a very good spec for solo carry, especially at low ratings between 0-1800. When I have a frost in my lobby, all they do is orb > blizzard > ray of frost on cd > glacial spike when available, and that alone does insane damage. They don't use a single polymorph, they have two ice blocks, lots of slows, blinks and instant damage. I only play arcane, and the difference between what I have to do to kill an enemy or survive is huge compared to frost mage. With destro lock I feel that it is difficult to carry a game vs double melee, the huge amount of damage you receive prevents you from doing enough dps, and your teammates almost never help you create distance. Also doesn't help that every lobby has a demon hunter, with its 15% passive magic mitigation.
Doesnt have a charge like the most classes, can be kited by good ranges. No heal reduce. CC shares dr with a lot of other classes. Tierset is weak (yes overall dmg is fine). Etc
2:45 Is why I quit this game all the time. I played for 1 day in shadowlands and died to a rogue that never left stealth, literally had no chance to live or even play.
I wish I could get 400 rating improvements. I been hard stuck 2-2100k since DF expansion. For years. Play every damn day and do EVERYTHING these vids suggest. I think this guarantee better for pre Dragonflight pvp. The skill cap much more competitive now and to be 2400 you basically have to be a pro. I however know this is the best site for valuable pvp info so i sub. Appreciate all you do!
Destro IS NOT a solo carry S tier godlike class for solo shuffle as all you keep describing it... It relies heavily on team members to peel off melees and your healer needs to be good enough to heal you otherwise you fold. You won't be able to carry games with a warlock, that's a fantasy. Maybe at high rating it becomes somewhat viable because your team members will be good enough to exploit your enemies when they go tunnel vision you.

you say, rogues are true support class. fuck, who would play a rogue, to be a "support". when i picked a rogue, i wanted to be a killer, an assassin. i wanted to kill with 1 button. not be a fucking support. they literally twisted and ruined the class. when people pick rogue, the last thing on the list they want is to be a support.
They're exaggerating. Might be true for this patch, but there have been numerous times where rogues, especially sub rogues, can solo kill people before the healer can do anything about it. Sub rogues in season 1 of Shadowlands were literally two shotting from stealth.
u have to know in what moment u be an assassin, if u cant kill, u have to support with cc, thats is he said, u are not a warrior with sustain dmg, is a class for bursts in times
Now skill cap yall act like yall got all the answers tell me this how the hell do top players like vanguard layson lvladen bshjeera get high mmr especially bahjeera I seen him this season 2300 10 games negative and 2400 8 games negative while I'm 15 games positive and hard stuck 2k
I'll tell you, because of MMR, those guys all got over 3k raring in solo shuffle in season 1, MMR doesn't completely reset between seasons, they started playing at a higher base MMR than you did.
@@tomazou2010 yea that gotta be it because i was like 2500 season one but i havent hit nothing higher than duelist since they play 5 games and 2400 is bullshit theres no way blizz think this shit is ok
@@tomazou2010 ye I noticed it I came back from Shadowlands and all of a sudden my defensives feels weak and in melee combat with no CDs cant do anything to a warrior or DH I just get eaten alive
@@strajke_ofc2487 you also need to press 500 buttons in a row to start doing dmg whereas DH and Warr just press like 2 and they already deal half your HP

So far of playing for two weeks I hit 1800 in solo shuffle as UH DK but ye this class really need little rework
