I live in Texas my family is from Mexico and mi tierra is a disgrace to our tradition there are way better panaderías that are more authentic than that.
Madonna Inn’s Bakery, located inside The Copper Cafe’. The Black Forrest, Toffee and The Pink Champagne cakes are to die for!!!!! So are the cookies and fresh baked bread 😋 sooooo good 😊 San Luis Obispo, CA😉
Although I'm from NY I was so happy to see Balthazaar in New Jersey (There is also one in Manhattan) because when I went to culinary school my baking module was taught by Chef Sim Cass who is the baker behind Balthzaar. Gave me a sense of pride.

Calumet Bakery in Lansing, IL I'm a semi-truck delivery driver that has been going to donut shops, bakeries, and etc for years. I'm able to get some freebies every time I deliver there, and without a doubt they are one of the best tasting bakeries you'll ever come across, and mind you this is coming from a guy that's delivered to literally hundreds of various donut places, bakeries, and the like. Donuts range from decent to good, but the pastries, cookies, and especially cake are what you definitely want to get from there. I'm actually going to be getting my next birthday cake from there and I haven't had a bday cake in a very long time, more so cause i never cared to, but now I have a good excuse to get one. FYI, for those in the know, it's better than Webers I think.
Idk, rheinlanders German bakery in Colorado is all from scratch, and they have a ton of dairy free, gluten free, and even sugar free options: pretty much any bakery item you could think of, and it’s beyond yummy!
I agree. I recently visited two locations and loved both. The one in Bishop is amazing. It's packed with bread and baked goods. Can't wait to go back. The best bakery I've ever been to.
Sugarees in Mississippi is ok. Problem is, in Mississippi, everybody has cooking talent. My daughter was taught a eight by my grandmother that a biscuit doesn’t come from a can. For extra credit in her French class, she made lemon petit fors. The teacher wash from Wales, England and had been all over Europe. Said they were perfect.
Loved the video. Southwestern Michigan (Kalamazoo) will be losing an iconic place, MacKenzie's, open since 1980. They had the best cake doughnuts. I loved them warm out of the fryer.
It isn't TEMP-e It is Tem-PE. You need to listen to some local radio, from each state. Don't feel bad. Trump's last Arizona visit he pronounced Mesa as mess-a. It is pronounced May-sa. (And, Mesa has the better bakery, Proof Bread.) steve
Not only is the bakery top notch, but the milk is amazing. Their skim milk tastes like whole milk and their whole milk tastes like cream. That's because they don't water it down like all the other milk that you get at any grocery store in the whole country.
Florida: 5-0 doughnuts (Sarasota, Tamiami, and Bradenton), The Donut Shoppe (Jacksonville) Georgia: River Street Sweets (Savannah) best Praline Candy EVER!!!
Macaroon is pronounced as MAC-AH-ROON. Not Ron. Also, rugalach is pronounced as ROOG-AH-LACH (ch sound is supposed to sound like you’re clearing your throat).
My major complaint is you go too fast with the states in that I'm not sure if I've got the town right or the name of the Bakery as you do not always show the name of the bakery ,ex. West Virginia - Sokolata. Now is that name of the bakery ? You then mentioned the Spring Hill Bakery , now I admit it was late when I was watching the video but I reran it back a couple of times trying to get the facts straight and I think finally did. I just ask that you slow down a bit, post the city up with the state's name as it would help a lot. I do travel now and then so would like to find these places.
Sofra is garbage. Most of their stuff is barely better than what you can get at a grocery store. They are just trendy. If you want the best in Massachusettes, you want Mike's Pastry or Montillios.
