As Kathleen Bates kept saying in Waterboy, Disney is "the devil"... They seem to be going out of their way to destroy so many good IP's, and push this plot point of how evil is not so bad, and good is more evil then you think...

I just heard that Lesley Headland made the main cast watch Fight Club. “Don’t trust your eyes” Sol. If this is a Fight Club scenario… holy shit, someone needs to get fired.
If this were to be a Fight Club scenario, obviously it can't be the twins, as we've had physical interactions between both twins and the real world already... At no point has there been talking/interactions past them, in a way that we could then show one doesn't really exist... In Fight Club they showed us how we missed the reality of what was really going on, and thus far the writing of this show hasn't been competent enough to fool us in the same way... Unless in episode 8 we find out it was all a dream, and Dorothy (aka Mae/Osha) was never really in the land of Oz, there is no force, and there's no better place to be, then home, with her mothers...
If I want a story set in space with a diverse set of characters of differing backgrounds, orientations that have believable motivations laid out in a taught thoughtful manner I’ll reread The Expanse series. Disney Star Wars is mass produced schlock from ideologues fighting a non-existent crusade that they have constructed in their very tiny brains.

My theory, without having actually watched the show... Leslye Headland, former Personal Assistant of Convicted Rapist Harvey Weinstein said one of her inspirations was Fight Club, I'm guessing the murdering sister actually died, but still lives inside her sister's head, as the sister has multiple personalities.

the subtext of this scene is so racist beyond racist anyone else figure it out? black girl walks in finds white dude floating serenely above all her problems says "we have unfinished business attack me with all your strength" (this was also the first line of the show also said to a white woman) proceeds to trash about trying to pierce white mans floating serenity but its impossible with his impenetrable force privelege. the ANSWER according to the writers to the plight of the gay black woman is guilting the floaty white dude to guilt him into killing himself for her forgiveness lol. Impossible to unsee
Heres a question, if she knows her sister isnt dead anymore, then why does she need to continue killing the Jedi because that knowledge completely blows apart the reasoning for her doing this in the first place? Theyre totally working together on this for sure.
Correction : hyperspace travel does not take minutes. It takes days to weeks, including having to swap hyperlanes here and there. Disney just doesnt give a f about time and location. Its like game of thrones season 7 and 8. People just teleport at this point in star wars.
jedi are supposed to emotionally secure and removed from desires, bordering robotic, as well as the peak of combat proceeds to have 2 of the jedi masters with very clear signs of strong emotional attachment, 1 fat jedi which is impractical from both a movement standpoint and a desire standpoint (ironically a fat sith makes more sense, if you ignore the athleticism required). they then proceed to show the other 2 jedi masters being leagues above may but somehow not immediately beating and capturing her. but i'm racist for noticing any of those purely character criticisms lol

This show seems to be a good metaphor for how it’s creators see the world. Your worthiness as a person is determined by your gender and race, there is no such thing as local knowledge, and the rules are whatever the writers need them to be to get from point A to point B.
If you have never seen a show called Axe Cop check it out. It is written by a small child about a cop that primarily wields a hatchet and rides a t-rex and is still smarter than the writing on this show.
The whole coincidence thing is often repeated in SW. Remember when R2D2 & C3PO just happened to not only land on the same planet as Kenobi, but in the same zip code!? It's no biggie. It moves the plot forward.

It's a tv show ... but man, it sure doesnt feel like it's been made by the most capable of people. Like, there is a difference between camp, and dumb. And this show walks the fence alot. And even crosses it. Like ... how did that AliExpress version of Lobot just make the droids open the doors? That was just dumb.
They were on a ship heading to that planet. They had an esxape pod with homing coordinates to the space port - or as close as they can manage. Sure - its convenient - but its also more likely than that girl surviving an orbital fall in an out of control ship.

21:53 She intentionally misses the shot. If you notice, she moves her wrist slightly before actually shooting. I'm not sure why she also fires a second shot other than to maybe sell the idea that 'oh you guys I was really trying'.
Fun review and critic. I didn't watch this show but some of the reviews have been great. The show lacks cohesive storytelling and it hurts just hearing the reviews. CW sounds about right... Great video. Enjoyed your since of humor.
The writing on this is SO horrible. So this Jedi is so powerful with the force that he can just levitate and go into a full trance and creates an active force bubble that is "impenetrable" and yet Master Indara can't perceive that the Acolyte would cheap shot her and toss a fatal butter knife in her chest?? Then she offers this meditating Jedi a chance to right his "wrongs" but offering him poison. Like, could he not have just ended his own life? Furthermore, if his actions bothered him so much that it made him go into meditation and want to die, that implies that all the other Jedi involved are just kind heartless about the whole thing does it not? Apparently none of the others have a conscience. Additionally, how can Master Sol tell the other Jedi that she can be trusted with a blaster because she used to be Jedi and knows how to use it, and then she COMPLETELY missed not one, but TWO shots. And she is not shooting bullets, she is shooting like waves of energy that get bigger the farther they travel and she STILL misses. Headland is unintentionally exposing herself as being a horrible writer and director.
I just realized this by the jedi had been doing this trance thing for 10 years but they say Mae had been presumed dead for 16 yearz. So he was ok for for 6years after whatever happened and then shut down?
Does she use the force to sense what Tommen Baratheon jedi was thinking? If so, how could she if he has a force field that we saw minutes before? The sand, really? With two Jedis and some on higher grounds. I don't think osha misses the first shot. She clearly moves her arm that was pointing at the May. She just then decides to shoot her and misses. It's just that the show doesn't makes any sense

Mae doesn't seem any worse for wear (no scars, burn marks, nothing) for having died in a fire. So WTF Sol. Did Sol lie, did he think he saw her die and she didn't die, was the death faked? I mean build the story, but nope. You get zero information, you don't know why Mae is pissed at the Jedi, you don't know why she allegedly started the fire, you don't know what the whole point of this show is. Well other than to show the Jedi are a bunch of misfit idiots who can't find their way out of a paper bag.

The dark sith red light saber dude is the mother. The black one. Not the white one with the horns. But the black one that was "nice" and not as "mean" as the white one. She does say "it's not about right or wrong. it's about power. And who is allowed to use it." So i am willing to put 50 bucks on table right now. The mother is the "bad guy" and the other one isnt. I saw the first Straw Wars in 1977 & have never been interested in the slightest in seeing another. The next time I saw 'Star Wars' it was on a child's bed sheet. Why would anyone invest time & money in something like that?
Bypass the compressor... that right there is where the movie should have ended, with the falcon exploding in hyperspace. Also Harrison Ford still gets his wish. That timeline would have been preferable.
Hyperspace doesn't get you anywhere you want to go in 5 minutes, it's like travelling in the nether on Minecraft. It takes off a lot of time, as in instead of taking 20,000 years it will take 3 weeks. It's not teleportation though

Disney is hemorrhaging cash and they still have yet to turn a profit with Star Wars as they lose more and more cash throwing money after failed projects. Disney+ is not and has not ever produced a profit and, instead, loses millions of dollars every day. Disney's Star Wars toys have been such a failure that it has damaged Hasbro's bottom line and started to drag them down into abject failure as a company. Disney is absolutely not winning. They are in flames.
Prediction: The Sith Lord is the real Mae, badly scarred after surviving the fire. The Mae we see is a clone/acolyte. Or some other stupid thing, I don't know I haven't watched it because I'm tired of all this corporate IP farming. The reviews are entertaining though, thank you!

like before disney came into play George Lucas's Jedi are aware of their surroundings using the force when necessary and only died to constant blaster fire cause in the Prequal trilogy they were fighting hundreds of thousands of droids constantly shooting at them, but disneys Jedi you could like die to anything random but also live to something that can like be fatal like a lightsaber to a vital organ or something and still live mined you lightsabers give off extreme amount of heat
The best thing about the acodyke is that I am getting recommended great channels that I am subbing to. I am so tired of woke disney and happy to see I am not alone. These channels are important to boost as it is the counter culture on the right side
