When Game of thrones was big, ten years ago, HBO bragged about how it was the most pirated show, not just the most popular show. They were bragging about the sales the didnt make..... But here we are ten years later....and Disney wont release its legitimate viewer numbers... Let that marinade.

If viewership was anything like what Disney was looking for they would release their own data. They tried to mislead with the 5 day global figure for ep1 and have been silent ever since.

I don't understand how the media thinks telling me a lot of people like something is going to make me like it. it doesn't matter at all how many people like something, if I don't like it, I don't like it, and If i don't like it, I won't give it my time or money. like that fallout show, everyone I know likes it, except me, I don't tell them they're not allowed to like it, and they don't tell me I'm not allowed to not like it. or what is their reasoning for lying about numbers? trying to stop investors from selling their stocks?
When I worked as a R&D engineer, we often made-up numbers for our projected projects. SWAG - Serious Wild A$$ Guesses. Over time we revised the numbers as we got closer to completion. Anybody that publishes "random" numbers on the internet is suspect and a troll. For instance, Paul T of Forbes is one such example. Perhaps another thing we can do, write an actual letter to LucasFilmLtd saying: "I'm not a D+ subscriber, but please make more Acolyte type shows. They provide a great deal of entertainment value! You are supporting the YT ecosystem, and your message is getting sent far and wide. Thanks for everything you touch, I can't get enough of your messages."

Yeah sure... it's a staggering success. You know what? People like the show so much that LucasFilm should convince Disney to renew the series for three new seasons, with a budget closer from that of RoP. Pure gold, guaranteed.
If it was true, Disney would scream those numbers everywhere. That it is doing better then 90% of other shows I can believe though, at least if they either only count new shows (not many good new shows around at the moment) or if they count every show on streaming (which is a super massive amount of which most of them have few viewers. But I have sincere doubts that it is a good investment, particularly since it seems there wont be a second season. If the show have cost $25 millions to make you could have argued it was a success but $180 millions requires a whole lot of viewers and it just doesn't seem to have enough. It is still doing better then Gatwa's Doctor Who though (in the US) but that doesn't tell us much.
That graph makes no sense. Obi-wan twice the viewership of The Mandalorian, The Acolyte more than Ahsoka even though it's well established that it is would be stretching numbers to even suggest it had half that number of views. Fake.

They basically went with a source that might as well be named Sampling Bias: it's obscure AF and probably is the one place whose audience is probably solely the audience this was made for. You'd get better numbers off of the high seas.
Rogue One & Force Awakens were the best of Star Wars under Disney IMO. I did enjoy episodes 8 & 9 as well as every show I've seen (Obi-Wan, Boba Fett & Mando S1). Half way through Andor & Mando S2 currently. With what I've heard/seen of Mando S3 & now The Acolyte, I've lost interest. This is one Star Wars fan who no longer wishes to engage with most other Star Wars fans. I will not be called a fake just because I did enjoy 'Last Jedi' or a bigot just because I refuse to watch 'The Acolyte'. At the end of the day, you ARE A REAL FAN regardless of whether you like it all or just some of it. And that's ok.
