Nice to listen to someone who doesn't hate The Acolyte. I am very much enjoying the show and I've searched the internet and reddits and anywhere I can find like minded folk who are enjoying and contemplatig on this very sophisticated show. The detractors think the writing is horrible but they are failing to understand that this show is actually respecting our intelligence and not showing everything. The 3rd episode was 100% MOSTLY from Osha's perspective, leaving out crucial details. I've been doing lots of research on what's really going on and have discovered SOME spoilery stuff but nothing that really explains what's really going on. It does appear that Osha and Mae are completely misunderstood and something that's interesting is when the mothers talk about the power of one, two and many it's really about something bigger. Mother Aniseya tells Osha that the power of many is more important than the power of one and it is appearing that Osha might be showing signs of selfishness which is a Sith trait. Mae is actually all about the power of many which is like belonging to a tribe much like the Jedi (and we also learn that Osha left the Jedi she was NOT kicked out, why?). It will be very interesting to see how this plays out. I'm totally into this series and I'm 52 years old. I saw Han shoot Greedo first in 1977 and have been addicted to Star Wars for a very long time. I am enjopying the Disney stuff and seperate myself from the angry mob. They act like children who didn't get the toys they wanted for Christmas so they are mad at mommy and daddy. Anyways, good luck with your channel. Liked and subscribed!
It isnt my favorite show by any means and it has issues but I cant understand how people are missing this... They arent giving everything away and are relying on the audience to be smart enough to realize that this is a mystery show and will give us pieces of the puzzle as we go along. In any case you made a great point!
