There are multiple times throughout the video where I mention that "These are part 91 rules."
To someone just starting it's possible you haven't learned what that means yet. But you will come to notice that in your flight training you'll be referencing two Parts 99% of the time compared to others, and those are Parts 61 and 91.
The expression goes, part 61 makes a pilot, part 91 breaks one.
Essentially, there are different types of operations taking place within the aviation industry, and each have their own rules laid out with their Parts in the FAR/AIM, and there are rules that do apply to all pilots regardless of what Part they're operating in. If you're going to a flight school, you're either at a Part 61 school, or a Part 141 school. Both have different rules, and pros/ cons of their own. When you want to start making real money in aviation, for most it's either a Part 121 or 135 operation, but there are others as well!
